Why Did Mitt Romney Lose?!?
Republicans were counting on the white vote. They can not win at the national level with only the white vote. White people consist of about 70% of the population today. With each passing day the percent of white America gets lower. To win national elections they need votes from other groups because there are whites they will NOT get votes from. Republican do not get votes from white liberals, men and women. They do not get votes from white gays and lesbians and those whites that support them. They do not get votes from whites that abhor racism. They do not get votes from feminists. They do not get votes from white union workers. They do not get votes from liberal or moderate youth. They do not get votes from nonreligious whites. They do not get votes from environmentalists and many are white. They do not get vote from white intellectuals including scientists. They do nt get votes from goverment workers. They did not get the vote of firemen and police in my city. So you see it has chipped awayvery quickly frm the 70%. I am white liberal but the main reason I do not vote repulican is I have a small business and democratic economic policy is more profitable for my business so here is another reason. They did not win because the catered to white men, and older whites. They did not do anything to appeal to other groups and in fact made themselves the nemesis of any other group other than older whites and white males.

Romney was a flip flopper who tried to be on all sides of the issues. He showed his incompetence with foreign affairs during his foreign visits. He refused to reveal his income tax reports like Obama did. He kept his money in foreign accounts in Switzerland, Bermuda, and the Cayman Islands in order to avoid paying taxes on that money. When he was governor of Massachusetts he ran that state so deeply into debt that the people began to hate him so much that he ran away instead of trying to run for re-election. At Bain he repeatedly bought companies and then borrowed so much money that instead of repaying the loans he bankrupted the companies causing the workers to lose their jobs while he walked away with millions. Those are a few of the reasons Romney lost the election. There were many voters, however, who watched Fox News and voted for Romney because they never learned the truth about him.

I know I'm late, this should have been asked 2 months ago. But I want to ask, since things like the school shooting and the fiscal cliff has happened. I was quite surprised Obama won by a significant margin. Why did he lose? Was it his campaign's errors and flaws? Was it Romney's past a role? Was the GOP responsible?
