Why is religion a matter of faith?
how come everything else is about proof and if there is no proof people don't believe it, except religion? how come some people strongly believe in the afterlife and all that? is it because they want to believe it? i think there would still be religion if god never intervene. people think they are the center of everything, when in fact there could be other intelligent life in other plantes. does aliens have an afterlife? i also think some people want to believe in miracles. every second 2 people and people think god help them when they get a good grade at school, or anything like that. let say, some1 have an uncle with cancer, then that person prays, and if the uncles dies, what does it mean? the guy didnt pray hard enough?
