Why Did My Question Get Deleted

Why was my question deleted?

I feel as if your question was falsely marked as a violation of the BN;BR policy because it sort of assumes that all biracial Asians are more likely to be diagnosed with mental illnesses than monoracial Asians, when this only applies to a majority of them, or at least the test subjects used for the data you provided. This isn’t to say that what you provided as evidence towards your statement is incorrect; it is to say that your content was probably marked as a BN;BR violation because the way you put it may have accidentally appeared offensive or implicative of something other than what you intended. To remedy this, you should send a report to the Quora moderators, explaining why your question should not be deleted, and how your question is based off of actual, accurate data as opposed to falsified, opinionated statements as some of the moderators involved with this question’s deletion may have thought.Unfortunately, it appears to be rather common on Quora that even mentioning how one race has an advantage over others, even if it is statistically backed up and is asked solely for curiosity’s sake and not as a form of hatred towards other races, will make your answers and questions more susceptible to being deleted or at least collapsed. You’re going to have to find a way to make your question either sound less “racey” (even though it really isn’t), or report the false mark to a moderator for further inspection. I wish you luck in bringing this question back from deletion.

Why did my question get deleted?

All I asked was why judgments trolls think it's alright to be mean and not even read full questions, which is valid. Yahoo answers used to be better at regulating this site so that our time doesn't get wasted with crap answers. I feel that if you don't know a situation or an answer to a question, you have no right to comment on it. And if you can genuinely help someone, give advice in a way that's not condescending.

Why did my questions get deleted?

Some of them are obvious, but others make no sense. I haven't posted any duplicates.

Here are the questions I've asked:

- Who would win, T-Pain or Kanye West?
- Should we build a turtle fence?
- Where can I find an uptight piano?
- Why is Yahoo! Answers so uptight?
- Atheists: Since you don't have God in your heart, do you prefer Pepsi or Coke?
- Help! That creepy stack of money from the Geico commercials keeps following me!?
- How do I become a MythBuster?
- Poll: Why are you not naked?
- Multiple Choice: If you had a button that would end all life on planet Earth...?
- What morals, beliefs, valuable possessions or ideologies would you give up?
- What would you do in this situation?
- Should gay, athiest, illegal immigrants who abort children be allowed to have ice cream?
- If there's capital punishment, what about lowercase punishment?
- Why isn't the use of corporal punishment more widespread in our legal system?
- How many people spontaneously combust every year?
- In a world where there is no more food...?
- Who loves puppies and kitties?
- Should there be post-birth abortion?
- Does anyone else see the irony here?
- Should we feed the starving children of the world... to each other?

Those are in order from newest to oldest. Like I said, some of them are obvious. Some of them required the additional detail to understand.

Can someone list the reasons at least a couple of these got deleted (that aren't too obvious), please?

Welcome to Yahoo Answers. That's what they do. That's how they roll

Why was my yahoo answers question deleted...?

If you want to know the reason for the violation, post "Why was this question (answer) a violation?" and add the original e-mail you got so the users can see the exact context. The experienced users here will explain it to you. There is no statute of limitations on breaking the YA rules.

A guess is that you asked it in a chatting format such as "Do you understand the ending...?". It is a common mistake but if your question is worded so that it can simply be answered "yes" or "no", it is not worded correctly.

However there are several reasons Qs are removed.

1. It is a violation of the rules - you will get an e-mail when that happens. If you want to know the reason for the violation, post "Why was this question (answer) a violation?" and add the original e-mail you got so the users can see the exact context. The experienced users here will explain it to you. There is no statute of limitations on breaking the YA rules.

2. There were zero answers when the time expired - no e-mail sent.

3. The BA was reported as a violation - no e-mail sent.

4. During voting, "No Best Answer" was chosen as the best answer - no e-mail sent.

Look in your e-mail, including the spam folder, for a violation e-mail. If not there, check your activity tab in your profile. If nothing about a violation there, then the Q was removed for one of the other reasons.
