Why Did Obama Abandon His White Family And Move To Chicago

What should I do when my favorite team, The Chicago White Sox, relocates and becomes the Charlotte White Sox?

The team owner, Jerry Reinsdorf, told his family when he dies, he wants them to sell the White Sox but keep the Chicago Bulls. Most likely the new team owner would move the Sox to Charlotte because the White Sox AAA team, Charlotte Knights, is already in Charlotte and it sells out every game, or close to selling out. It says The Charlotte Knights sell out 94% of their games. Charlotte wants an MLB team, so most likely Sox would sell out their games in Charlotte. The sox
AAA team has more fans coming to their games than their own MLB Team.

I'm 15, and I became a White Sox fan in 2012 when I got introduced to it. (my family is foreign so theyre not baseball fans, my uncle introduced me to it.) All my close friends are cubs fans. Anyway, I guess I became a big Sox fan. If the sox relocate, I would honestly see it as betrayal, much like Seattle fans on the OKC Thunder. If Sox move, I doubt my dad would buy MLB.Tv for $100. I can't buy it either. It wouldnt be the same tbh. I can't see myself a cubs fan in the future. I love the Sox. But I don't know. I'm confused and upset. I can't move to charlotte either.

So, should I keep following the Soon to become Charlotte White Sox online, and check their scores and watch them when they play the Cubs because I can see it locally, OR Should I start watching the Cubs and be a cubs fan? I wouldn't become a cubs fan if I don't feel it, like I feel chills whenever the Sox win.

Thank you for reading all of this. sorry its so long. Byee

Why are so many people moving out of Chicago right now?

Chicago is a death trap.My coworker / roommate was robbed for the fourth time on the CTA blue line his last day living in Chicago. The CTA Blue line in Chicago is the latest place homeless criminals now live and steal from commuters. He told me about arriving at O'Hare airport and needed to use the bathroom. The homeless are camping out in the bathroom stalls and wanted to change him money to use the public toilet? WTF?This is Chicago today. Again, wtf?The O'Hare airport blue line station smells like a urinal.Great way to welcome people to the city that no longer works…I left 5 years ago.I have a choice to be a survivor and move on or stay in Chicago and continue to be a victim.Easy decision. Easy choice. My last year in Chicago my bike, wallet, car and kayak were all stolen.A drunk pick pocket tried to steal my wallet at a blue line station in a performance area in downtown Chicago with 100 people on the platform.CTA canine security was there.I asked him what to do he said I should leave and did nothing.CTA posted signs, If you see something say something.CTA does not care. Apathy. My ex girlfriend was gang raped in Lincoln Park.I saw a man shot in the head lying in an alley by the Grand Central police station for several hours.I reported homeless men sleeping and urinating in the Jefferson Park Blue line station waiting area to the CTA employees at the entrance to the train station. They told me to contact the police myself. It's their property not mine?Again CTA does not care. More apathy.Alcoholics have a saying, yet.You have not been robbed, raped or murdered in Chicago, yet…People have a choice to live in a dangerous city, or not.Even the mayor and former president are leaving Chicago (Rahm Emanuel & Barak Obama).

Why does President Obama have to pay for his meals at the White House?

Here’s the answer as best as I know it: Technically, the president doesn't have to pay for his meals at the White House. I say that because there is no law that requires it. So, how did it start?John Adams was the first president to move into the White House (the partially unfinished White House, actually). Since there was no staff, Adams brought his own staff, obtained his own food, drink etc. Over the years, staff has been added to take care of the White House and help the First Family, but the presidents kept paying for their own food, drinks, toiletries, etc.If you talk to anyone that has worked in a large organization for many years and you ask them why something is done the way it’s done, chances are the answer will be, “because we’ve always done it this way.” Presidents pay for their own meals at the White House because they’ve always done it that way.EDIT: After reading comments posted on this answer, I should add some additional information: I am neither clairvoyant, nor own a crystal ball, so I am not able to predict how Donald Trump will change this, or not, once he is living in the White House. Neither can anyone else. All I can say is that this has been the way it’s handled since John Adams lived in the White House.

Why do people hate obama?

It is only the extreme right wing racists who actually hate him. The rest are disappointed that a man who has the gift of beautiful oration and is obviously intelligent has leaned to the right himself. He has allowed the USA to remain involved in wars, he has listened too much to right wing advisers on the economy and he has tried to be conciliatory to Republicans who don't respect anything except hard line action.Obama has tried so hard to be reasonable with fanatics he is in danger of losing his base.

Why isn't America more of a post-racial society after Obama's presidency?

Because Obama did nothing for anyone except for the people you would expect him to favor ……He is the reason for all the racial tension now …. Not Trump ….. within the list of Obama's last acts in office was to force suburbs to be less white..Obama’s last act is to force suburbs to be less white and less wealthyWhy is Obama having meals and visiting Louis Farrakhan Who’s equivalent in White skin would be David Duke but more like Hitler .. but Black A know Anti White racist that has on many occasions call for violence against Whites and AmericaAnd Social experiments that destroy White neighborhoods like the one i use to live in before having to move because he thought moving poor minority families into nice places knowing full well all it does and has ever done is plant new roots for criminality in different that once were nice good safe places to liveEven tho it’s been tried before and has never worked out well, at all, even in small scale social experiments, all studies show that it was extremely counterproductive after the first time they tried and failed causing community collapse and abandonmentExample:President Bill Clinton started a similar program in 1994 called“Moving to Opportunity Initiative,”which moved thousands of mostly African-American families from government projects to higher-quality homes in safer and less racially segregated neighborhoods in several counties across the country.A 2011 study sponsored by HUD found that adults using more generous Section 8 vouchers did not get better jobs or get off welfare. In fact, more went on food stamps. And their children did not do better in their new schools.Worse, crime simply followed them to their safer neighborhoods, ruining the quality of life for existing residents.overlooking the fact that Black culture is for the most part incompatible and unwilling for their 100% assimilation into American cultureObama did nothing for race relationsObama’s last act is to force suburbs to be less white and less wealthy

What does Obama's mother-in-law do all day in the White House?

Michelle Obama has been -- quite possibly -- the strictest First Lady in modern history in protecting the privacy of the First Family. No one but the closest friends and family are invited into the the residence of the White House (2nd floor & 3rd floor -- but that's a misnomer by American standards [but not by British standards], they are actually the 3rd and the 4th floors). The First Family is incredibly private. No interviews or cameras are ever permitted into the Residence. No details are leaked. It's possibly one of the best kept secrets in DC. So few people are allowed to see any details of the Obama Residence that there are almost no pictures of them up there. That's because Michelle Obama has insisted on a "normal childhood" for their daughters. What has been said is that Marian Robinson (Michelle's mother) is a key caregiver for the first daughters. This makes sense. While -- yes -- the First Lady isn't technically employed, based on the history of the position, she is kept busy most of the day with notable time to spare for being with her children. Having the First Grandmother there to help keep the children amongst family is a good idea and that's about all you're about to know until -- at best -- they leave the White House.Dan Holliday's answer to In the U.S., does the president's bedroom change when there is a new president, or is it always the same room?

What will Barack Obama do after he's done being President of the USA?

He will be 55 at the time of his Presidential retirement - which is relatively young. He will be inundated with offers, of course, so the typical trajectory is likely. These activities will largely be the ones he personally WANTS to do - as opposed to those that he has been required to do as President. Speaking engagements (very selective - over time)Book(s) - already authored - this isn't as much if, but when and whatOversee the Presidential Library  [1]Stump for the Democratic Party/CandidatesAdvise other DemocratsCharity work/events - globallyExpand the scope and involvement of the Obama FoundationIf you consider his early career as Act 1, and his presidency as Act 2, I think much of the activity from the above list will influence years 1 and 2, but they could easily be the entr'acte to yet another major activity and contribution. Some have suggested the possibility of being a Supreme Court Justice, but I think that's both remote (he was an attorney - but not really a jurist) and not likely to be one that - if offered - he would accept. It's really a lifelong appointment that's designed for more of a career jurist. Obama's interests and ambitions - like many ex-Presidents - is likely to be broader and more global in scope.  He has the capacity to surprise - and he is very committed to a life of helping others. His signature legislation - early in his first term - burned through a LOT of the political capital he had when he entered office. But that deep commitment of helping others was clearly evident in the passage of Obamacare and it may well have come from a quote by another great American that may continue to influence his life. Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?[1] Footnote: Thanks to Joel Ruggaber for pointing out that the Obama Presidential Library site has been selected and it will not be Hawaii. It will be on the South Side of Chicago (also according to Wikipedia here: Barack Obama Presidential Center)

How did Michelle Obama escape indictment for fraud and corruption?

2002: Michelle Obama is hired by the University of Chicago Hospital as its "Executive Director for Community Affairs" at a salary of $120,000.

2005: Barack Obama is sworn in as a U.S. Senator. Michelle Obama is promoted to "Vice President for Community and External Affairs" and her salary bumped nearly $200,000 (from $121,910 to $316,962). This position was "newly created" for Mrs. Obama.

That’s not a bad increase in pay, but I don’t see the “tie” between her salary being TRIPLED and Barack Obama being sworn in as a Senator do you? I’m betting it was probably just a coincidence. It’s pretty common for state universities to triple the salaries of their employees (sarcasm).

She was responsible for the medical center's "business diversity program" that involved relationships between the medical center and the community. External affairs? Business diversity? What exactly does this mean? How does this benefit patients? Relationships between the Hospital and the community It's a state-run hospital. This is a B.S. position made to order. Who dreams these "pretend" jobs up?

2006: Barack Obama requests a $1 million earmark for a new hospital pavilion at the University of Chicago. Again I’m wondering if there is a tie in to Michelle Obama being an employee and her raise or if this isn’t just another convenient coincidence?

2009: Michelle Obama resigns her position at UCH. Her VP position is eliminated and its functions absorbed into another executive's position. Question: if that work can be folded into another, why was it separate in the first place?
