Would the military disobey the president to defend the constitution?
The funny thing about the military is the only time the US Constitution is mentioned in training is in your initial swear in. I was in the Army for 6 years and after my swear in I was trained constantly to follow orders, but the US Constitution was a lost memory and really was not even hinted at to most soldiers. I doubt 99% of all soldiers even understand that they must defend the US Constitution above the orders of their superiors. It is all, "Follow orders or you will get in trouble." And "You are now property of the US Government, you must do what you are told." If you think I am exagerrating look up cases of soldiers that cut themselves, if you look at what charges can be put against them one of them is "Destruction of Government property" for cutting into your own flesh!

Obama WAS allowed to use a cell phone. He was a big fan of the blackberry and, after he was elected, he had them make sure it was secure and encrypted and safe so he could use it. And he kept it throughout his presidency.Trump didn’t do any of that, he just kept his unsecured phone because . . . . well, I don’t know why. My best guess is that he doesn’t actually understand what being President means. He’s using the same, unsecured phone he always has, he’s meeting with people in unsecured places like he always has, he’s telling people classified crap to make himself look impressive. He has no idea of the gravity of the job he has. If he did, he might pay a little more attention, and not demand intelligence briefings come to him on a single page because he can’t be bothered to read for more than five minutes.
