Why Did The Fast And Furious Movies Change

In all Fast and Furious movies, did they ever use an automatic transmission car?

No idea, but one thing’s for certain, in the earlier films they were definitely filmed and edited by someone who had no idea how a manual gearbox works…Take a closer look at the drag races and you’ll see that first the physical gear changes sometimes don’t match the engine noises, and then there’s the great one of drivers being shown to change gears whilst in situations which would normally send bits of gearbox and engine flying through the bonnet… Or changing up into 8th or 9th gear during a drag race… Or, after the speedo has been shown on screen doing 100mph+, the driver still manages to do 3 more gear changes…I love the films - but the earlier ones especially were chronic for this sort of rubbish!

What's your point of view for "The Fast and the Furious" movie series?

When the first movie was released it was phenomenal and fresh in contents . The sequel established is as a popular franchise because it was a blockbuster . I enjoyed those films but it became very repetitive with 3,4,5 and so on .I am not a big fan of movies that just look stunning or contains great race sequences but lack the logical approach in writing . For me the script means the most .Fast and Furious impressed teenagers the most . But its limited to fast paced car chase, quite unrealistic stunts and some chicks with perfect curved bodies. Its not very engaging for me .The 6 sequels were made just because it was earning money .

Why is it Furious 7, not Fast & Furious 7?

I believe that it is called Furious 7 in the United States, and Fast and Furious 7 overseas.  The original teaser posters clearly use the full name and list the original release date of 2014.After Paul Walker's death, they took a lot of time to rethink the ending of the movie.   Shortening the name certainly helps with #hashtags for marketing and the like....and shorter news headlines.   When you say "Furious 7" it makes it sound like you are "in the family"....which they have certainly tried to capitalize on with Paul Walker's final appearance. The first new poster seems to indicate the final installment of the series.  But the script was changed and now Paul Walker's character is seen "retiring"  Also note the change from color to black and white on the posters. Here we see the tagline has changed to Vengeance Hits Home - Inviting you to see it because you are part "of the family"And the French Canadian version of the poster A version of the Fast and Furious 7 Poster for the United Kingdom, or FF7 for short.  The whole Fast and Furious 7 name is used outside the United States. And here we have the poster for Japan.  Where they completely changed the name of the movie to Wild Speed: Sky Mission.  This is the scene where they are in the southern parking lot of Dodger Stadium which overlooks Downtown LA discussing the last finale of the movie.  Although I think The Rock was  in the hospital, not sure how he landed on the poster. LOL. Of course, with the success of Furious 7 and it making $1 Billion worldwide...we will undoubtedly see Fast 8 in two or three years time.

Were the imports in the Fast & the Furious movie front or rear wheel drive?

they were front wheel drive
your friend is right
that movie was retarded
and the people that made it knew nothing about drag racing

the dumbest line in a movie ever goes to Vin diesel
"my uncle died in his prostocker.
he crashed in the last turn of the race.."
................there are no turns in drag racing...........

i have been a pro drag racer and I owned my own funny car.
on a real race car wings are very important..
the cars in that movie other than the charger were all laughable.

Fast and Furious 6 not about cars anymore?

I gues.......s.....s.sss

With the success of the Fast & Furious movies, should Hollywood start to make more big budget films with Black, Latin and Asian leads?

No, I don't believe that this will be the case.I don't feel that the Fast and Furious series is considered indicative of a tread, nor considered proof that Hollywood should change their ways. Not by the people who make those decisions anyway. Are you really asking if they SHOULD be making more movies with ethnic leads because of this movie? Because your question isn't currently phrased to ask that. But what IS indicative of a tread is just plain more movies with African-American and other ethnic groups in the U.S. leading movies. The numbers are already headed that way. Once we hit 12% black leads in Hollywood movies we'll be matching the demographics (16% for latino).I'm not sure we have enough big name black (or latino) leads to fulfill that yet, but it is a good goal.

Why do people still watch and enjoy the new Fast and Furious films?

For argument's sake, I'm going to assume the question isn't just trolling.Look at the figures here :http://www.the-numbers.com/movie...The first two did okay at the box office. The third did far worse. The fourth reunited the two actors from the first and did noticeably better. Still car based. This suggested that the key selling point back then was Diesel and Walker together. However, it was only once they hit the fifth, kept D & W together, started bringing in other action stars AND started moving away from just car racing that the box office numbers really rose. The fifth took more money than the first three combined - if that's not an indication what the viewing public wants to see, I don't know what is. The pattern continued with the sixth, which made even more money than the fifth. The last, seventh, movie - definitely the least 'car' and most 'action' oriented - made more than the previous two combined.Firstly, why pick 14 for the implied insult? Why not 13? or 15? It's not a number based on anything in particular, so why choose it? Unless you know some VERY wealthy 14 year olds, it's not clear how you think the 14 year old market is producing that kind of money.Secondly, the cast has been steadily growing in size. Why would the death of one person mean the end of the franchise?

Skyline in '2 Fast 2 Furious' info?

i am wondering where i can find some websites that have good info on the complete list of what was done to Brian's skyline at the begining ot 2 fast 2 furious? or if anyone knows what exactly was done, as far as performance, styling, bodykits, neons etc.

Is the cop character's name in "Fast and Furious" Brian O'Connor or Brian Spindler? I'm seeing both online.

The character played by Paul Walker is an undercover agent. His fake identity is Brian Spilner, but his real name is Brian O'Connor, which is revealed at the end of the first film.
