Why cant i reply to ads on craigslist?
To be able to reply directly to the advertiser, you have to get your email to your computer desktop. Usually that costs money. If you do get it there, call your provider and ask for tech assistance. If you get your email at a website (yahoo.com), you have to "cut and paste" the email in the ad and put it in the TO line of your message. Then click Send.
Why can't I use yahoo mail when replying to ad in Craigslist?

How do I reply to a craigslist ad?
When I see an ad on craigslist that interest me, I copy the address. I then go to yahoo and compose a letter responding to there ad. I click paste and send out my response. Seconds later I get a response from Yahoo stating I did not send out to a correct address? Mailer dameon) or something like that comes up in my in box.

The Default has to be through using software Yahoo doesn`t offer anymore from downloading Messenger. Perhaps the software is still on your old hardrive. Set it up a slave and transfer it to your new hardrive. Craigslist Scam reply to ad?
I got this response to an item I'm selling on Craigslist. The first email said, is the item still available? When I replied that it was, I got this email in response (cut and paste, so the misspellings are theirs): "Thanks for the mail and i just want you to know am buying this item for my cousin who is now in oversea but i wish i could make it face to face and see and know the present condition of this item but i will not able to make it for now cause am not in the state so if you don't mind i can make the payment through paypal so kindly get back to me with our pay pal email id so i can make the payment asap and i will add $100 for the shipping cost via USPS Priority Mail Delivery. Thanks and get back to me asap." I know it's a scam -- but I'm just curious what they can do with my PayPal i.d. I'd give that out to a legitimate person making a payment. I certainly wouldn't give them any personal information or password hints or anything of that nature. So what type of scam are they pulling? Think after I replied, they'd ask for more info? Any ideas? I'm just really curious about this. Thanks!
How come I can't reply to craigslist ads?
I have the same problem....what the responders here are not understanding is that when you click on the "REPLY" button, a window is supposed to open to give you options to reply.....but when you try to open that window, nothing happens....I still haven t figured it out....... Also, when a "contact" (blue text) is supplied in the body of the listing, my computer will not open that either, but I can "right click" it and open it in a new window. That window opens in text only with the phone number, if it is within the body of the listing.
Why do spammers reply to craigslist ads?
Much of spamming is based on the "the more email addresses, the better the chances of hooking a sucker" principle. They will send to ANY email address they can get. Why not? Unlike with snail mail, it costs them nothing. They work purely on the law of averages. They're out to find Barnum's suckers and don't care how many other people they inconvenience doing it. Bots rather than people? Quite possible. Every email address has a @ followed by a . in it. Bots can be programmed to pull off the surrounding characters from any and all web pages. This is one reason many sites don't have Contact Us pages any longer. Sad.

How to i reply to craigslist emails if i don't have outlook?
i don't have an outlook express .... i mean like i had it and there was a problem with it that every time i was sending a msg it fails to send... so i was so mad one day and i delete it.... now i don't have any and i tried a few times to download another one but it didn't work... now i wanna apply for job through craigslist and because i don't have an outlook so i cant really apply for any job... does any one know what to do now??/

Yes this is probably a scam. It's very unlikely someone would actually be unable to read all of your ad, and if that was true, what are the chances they would be so interested in some old textbooks that they would email you? Don't click on her address in the email she sent, it will probably take you to a site that might try to put malware on your computer.
