Why do people spam Yahoo! Answers?
Some users post those links because they earn a tiny bit of money for doing so, but most of what you see are spambots. Spambots are automated little programs which keep posting the same junk over and over, some are so smartly programmed that they set their profile to private and even use customized avatars. It is hard to stop this misuse of YA because those fakes often use re-directing scripts which may easily fool Yahoo. Experienced users like me spend countless hours every day to help clean up YA, but as soon as a spam account is deleted, new ones pop up immediately. What's so bad about Yahoo! Answers?
I have to disagree that it's the worst thing in the world. It has shortcomings for sure. But Yahoo Answers serves the masses, while Quora still serves the niche. Quora has a strong following in Silicon Valley and in general among internet entrepreneurs, software geeks, etc. But that would hardly be 2-5% of the masses. I have to believe that average intellectual level of the community on Quora is pretty high and I would not expect them to use Yahoo Answers. If you somehow bring the 100 million users of Yahoo Answers on Quora then they are likely to create a significant amount of spam on Quora as well. No community moderation can stop that. Turns out that what is "spam" for a few of us, is actually entertainment for millions out there. People actually visit those pages (in millions) and click on ads as well! Yahoo does not pay or promote people to create spam. In fact, a lot of research goes into how to tactfully deal with spam without hurting the community. I love Quora and spend a lot of time on it. However, I find it very hard to get answers to non-tech questions on Quora. I have to turn to Yahoo or Aardvark for them. I believe both Yahoo Answers and Quora can coexist like any other niche and mass products in the world.

No, don't worry about it. When you're basing things on the basic elements you're bound to have some overlap. It usually is the fire element that ends up as the bad guys since it's the most destructive of all the elements.

I have Minister of Impediments in play. My opponent has Avatar of Woe in play. I tap Minister of Impediments in order to tap Avatar of Woe. Can my opponent use the tap I initiated to destroy target creature? OR, can my opponent quickly tap Avatar of Woe to destroy target creature before my tap causes his Avatar of Woe to tap? Does the tap go on the stack or just the ability? Is it a race to see who can tap first? Is it a contest to see who taps last? How does it all work? I let him have it his way, but I told him if he was wrong I get to punch him for each creature he killed that way if it turns out he was wrong. Why did Nickelodeon channel stop airing new avatar episodes?
It had nothing to do with the strike; they employ a different union of writers than what was on strike.They were taking a break, but the show it supposed to come back in March, if not April. :D According to dongbufeng.net, the next individual Avatar DVD is scheduled to come out on May 6th, 2008, so they have to show the new episodes 312-315 by then. There's a theory posted on the site right now that says March 28th, 2008. This site has been very reliable in giving the titles of future episodes in advance, so they may be right about this,too. They have excellent sources. :)
LGBT: Should I change my Avatar?
It depends what message you want to portray. The picture itself is excellent. But what does it say about you? As someone who "knows" you, I know that you're neither a show off, or chunt who is obsessed with their body. There's more to you than a cute lad with a fine body. If you've got it flaunt it. To casual observers and passers by, it may give a different impression. But more importantly, are you bothered? Most of the answers here make you out to be an object of desire. Nothing wrong with that, if you're ok with it.
