Why Did You All Charges Things I Cant Get Into My Yahoo Messenger C

Yahoo Messenger Conversation History Error Msg: "Failed to process your request, please try again. Error 401?

"We've already let our engineers know about the problem and are currently gathering the YIDs of those affected. I've added you to the ticket. I do not currently have a timeline for the fix but it is high impact so I believe they'll be working on it with top priority."

Have you ever been hacked through yahoo messenger ID?

I;ve only experienced this as of today. When I signed in it disconnected me from messenger saying I was signed in on another computer or device. I had signed into messenger, opened my mail...messenger disconnected but my mail was stil open. I immediately changed my password. I relogged into messenger with the new password and two minutes later, I got the same error message so I chnged my password again. Signed back in, opened my mail, and again, got the same message sying i was signed in on another computer or device but messenger did not disconnect this time. I then wrote to yahoo customer care to change my security questions, received a verification that they received my request. I just logged on again (several hours later from the initial occurance) and the same thing happened, It said i was signed in on another computer and I'm not. I signed out, then back in and got the message but not disconnected from messenger. I can sign into my mail and any other yahoo service, the problem seems to be with messenger alone so I am starting to think it is a fluke with messenger at the moment and may not be case of being hacked.

Actually, now that I think bout it, when I got the initial error message it said i was signed out of "chat" because I was logged somewhere else. I don't know what they mean by chat. I wasn't chatting with anyone, just had messenger open.

EDIT****
I just resolved my issue which may be unrelated to your specific question BUT. I went to my yahoo mail. On the upper right of the page you will see "Options" in blue. CLick on Mail Options and when the page opens, uncheck the box (first option) that says "enable connections" Once you uncheck the box, the messenger probem is solved.

What went wrong with Yahoo? It was once worth almost $125 billion, but today sold to Verizon for $5 billion.

There is no one single reason that Yahoo "went wrong", which I assume means that they aren't seen as one of the top couple of internet companies like they once were. There are product reasons, strategic reasons, and cultural reasons. Some top of mind examples though:Focusing so much for years on Panama (Google Adwords competitor) and search in general, when they ended up losing to Google and eventually outsourcing this to Microsoft.Becoming too unfocused. Yahoo tried to do everything and triggered the famous Peanut Butter Manifesto from Brad Garlinghouse that summarized this problem well. The shift from a desktop world where everyone used home pages to a mobile and social world. Yahoo failed to build their own successful mobile and social products or to acquire any. Yahoo got too bloated, and nobody would ever make the cuts needed to both headcount and its products/properties.Buying Flickr, then letting it languish. Buying Flickr for $35 million was a bargain when you see how huge social photos are today. They could have turned Flickr into the next Facebook or Instagram and instead didn't invest properly in it.Failing to acquire Google and then Facebook. Yahoo had opportunities to buy both of these companies when it was clear they were going to be big successes and instead wouldn't pay what was needed. For example, they had a deal to buy Facebook for $1.1 billion pretty much accepted, then Yahoo's earnings came out and the value of the deal dropped to 800M due to stock compensation and Zuckerberg balked when Yahoo wouldn't change the deal to put the price back up. Think about the value of Facebook today and that Yahoo didn't acquire them over a $300M difference.Leadership changes. Looking at companies like Google and Facebook you'll see that the same leadership has essentially been in place the whole time. Yahoo has had a shifting cast of CEOs and executive teams that has never provided a longer term vision and execution path to take shape.Acceptance of lower quality employees. By the time I worked at Yahoo from 2007-2010, there were still a ton of great A-quality people there, but there were also a lot of B or C-quality people who were not outstanding at their work. This starts to eat away at the company and make the A-players go work elsewhere. There are more reasons, but these provide a good summary...

How can I recover my Yahoo account password without phone number?

Hi,To recover the old yahoo password, you must first go to the official Yahoo account sign in section. And after that, you have to click on the Sign-in Helper (Need Help?) in the Yahoo account which will redirect you to the next section for password recovery.Steps #1: Go to the Sign in page of Yahoo accountNow go to second steps.Steps #2: Click I don't remember passwordNow once you have entered the next section, you have click on the option " I don't remember password". There is also an option for you to choose even if you have forgotten the Email ID. (But here we are concerned only about the recovery of password, not the Email)Step #3: Enter your Yahoo Email IDNow the next step is to add your valid email ID, which will lead you to the next step of recovery. Here in this step, you have to provide the valid Yahoo Email ID which you have used during the signup process i.e creating the Yahoo Account. This step is necessary as because they should confirm that you are a Yahoo account user.Step #4: Click on options for password RecoveryIn this section, you are going to get 3 options- Mobile phone number recovery, Alternative Email Address and final one Secret Questions. Of all the 3 option, a single option answered correctly can help you to give your old password. But if you fail to answer, try simultaneously for the next option that one of it is, of course, going to help you for recovery.Hope it will help you.

All text in messaging windows of AIM 6.0 are blank.?

When I log in to AIM 6.0, I can clearly see my buddy list. However, when someone instant messages me, I can't see what they said. There is not even a time. Just who sent the message and a blank white box with a text box at the bottom. I tried highlighting it but nothing is there. I can see what I am typing in the present but nothing when I press send. It just disappears into a white box. I don't know if it has any relation, but it happened around the time I tried to "talk" with my friend on AIM through a microphone. I was trying to figure out my microphone and if I have one, so I played with the microphone options a bit. Probably no relevance, but just making sure. Please help soon. I'll take any guesses or answers
