Why did they change my Yahoo email?
I logged onto my email account this morning, and the format has changed to some "new and improved" look. Of course, whenever Yahoo makes anything "new and improved," they always make it less user friendly and more awkward. I won't even ask why they do this. But I'm no longer able to open emails in a new window, which is bad enough. Can I change back, and how do I do it? I don't see anything offering to change back to "classic" Yahoo mail. I hope I'm not stuck with this.

This new Yahoo mail format is complicated and not nearly as user friendly as before. How can this be resolved?

How do I change the view size in yahoo mail ?
INCREASE OR DECREASE FONT SIZE: With your yahoo account page open, click View from the Internet Explorer toolbar. From the drop down menu, rest your mouse on Text Size. From the next menu that opens to the right,select the Font Size you prefer. If your first selection is not the one you prefer, repeat the steps above. You could also click on the Zoom feature in the drop down menu. It's in percentages. 100% is what you see, so select 125% or 150%. As mentioned above, you can still go back and change it.
I can't open attachments in the new Yahoo mail interface.?
OS Windows 8. Browser: Chrome. When I click, it appears "save to computer" but nothing happens. All type of files (pdf, pps, jpg, etc, etc). I have account since 2006 and never similar thing happened. How can I return to the previous interface?

Instead of focusing on the strength of your email password, I will look at other ways it can be unsafe.Your email password is not safe if you use the same password for some other service which might be compromised.Your email password is not safe if you use an email provider that does not encrypt your communication with the email server.With respect to 1, reusing the same password on multiple services should be avoided. With something as important as your email password it must be avoided.With respect to 2, the major providers have finally (about ten or fifteen years later than https://www.fastmail.fm , which did things correctly from the beginning) enforced encryption of the communication between the email program you use (e.g., Outlook, Mail.app, or your web browser) and their server. However, the email systems provided by many ISPs still do not encrypt this traffic. This means that any time your computer or device checks mail from a coffee shop or library, your email password is easily available to anyone who listens for it.
