Seriously, what is the DEAL with some Hispanic guys SPITTING as you walk by?
Why do I keep seeing this, day after day, I live in Silver Spring MD where there is a large Hispanic population. Almost every time I walk near younger and more "ghetto" looking Hispanic guys, they spit. Sometime I see them timing it so they can do it right in front of me. I'm an Asian female. No I'm not imagining things and no they are not just clearing their throats. One time I did it back right back and the guy looked a little embarassed, and his two friends had their heads down. Another guy did it just yesterday and I started staring at him and he started rapping a song about the "KKK." What is up with these guys? Is it because they know that they are viewed as the lowlifes of America and it is the only way to "raise" themselves up, (in their own minds), by spitting upon others who are not like them? I've seen posts here from other people of different races with the same issue. I just don't think these guys understand how even lower this makes them appear. It's sort of like people who walk slooooowly when they cross the street when there are a lot of people in cars waiting for you to cross. Contrary to what you may feel it does (bring you a [false] sense of power I guess), it actually makes you look, to me anyway, like someone who feels powerless and helpless in their own lives, and is grasping for any little petty thing to make themselves feel a little better about their shitty disposition in life. It automatically spells "I'm not happy with myself." I just don't understand it. I just feel like there are better, more positive and productive ways to elevate yourself than spitting your way through life, walking slooooowly through life.
Why do some black/Hispanic men spit when Asians pass by?
I haven't heard a lot of this going on around the east coast but I suspect this might be happening more over on the west because of the higher populations of Asians living there. I also suspect that it is related to the relationship between the Asian store owners and their black patrons in mostly black communities. For one, there is an animosity about the Asian store owners being there and the perception of them taking money out of the community. There are also cultural issues that come into play such as Asians (at least in US) don't look you in the face at the times which black patrons assume that they don't like them. Also, the store owner/workers will follow black patrons around the store and the patrons see this as an issue of mistrust. A third issue is that when they are speaking in their native language the patrons are suspicious about whether or not they might be saying something about them. A final issue is that in Some Asian cultures they are pretty straight forward when it comes to critiquing people's looks. For example, if you have a big stomach they will mention your big stomach in conversation and this may come off to the black patrons as being rude. So all these issues may translate to those blacks when they are outside of that environment that they can't trust Asians and that they do not like black people.One thing to keep in mind however, is that there are differencse in relationships based on social economic status. More affluent blacks who are exposed to other racial and ethnic groups have better relationships with Asians.

I have to say I am completely okay with going down on men. With some I tremendously enjoy it, it's mostly about the specific penis. A pretty penis is a nice thing. If a guy spends two hours on giving me orgasms without getting anything out of it, I will damn well give him the pleasure of coming in my mouth. How are white Hispanics treated in the US?
Just some antedotal stories: I just had this this discussion with some white Latino friends, and the usual reaction from people is one of shock ("You dont' look Mexican!" or whatever Latino nationality they are). Alot of Americans see Latino as a race, so they don't consider white Latinos "white". I have heard them (and a lot of USA born Latinos) refer to white Latinos as a person "who looks white" as if they were not white. I had one blue eyed white skinned Mexican-American friend's brother's ethnicity come under the microscope by his white American classmates in the midwest, incredulous at seeing a white skinned, green eyed Mexican - in the end one of his know it all (and racist) classmates declared that "He's really just an Indian with some Spanish in him". I remember that same friend and his family were questioned by a white woman in North Carolina ("are there other Mexican people who look like you?")...I also recall the reaction from one of my Anglo classmates in grad school when she found out the ethnic origin of a blonde haired classmate (who was Cuban)... the white American woman's mouth dropped and she looked like I had just said the Cubana was from Mars. I have a a very light skinned Mexican friend (with a very thick accent) whose "Mexicanness" is questioned by many Americans, because after being asked where he was from, they weren't satisfied with him saying he was Mexican... they had to hear his entire family tree (it seemed he satisfied some of them when he said he had ancestry from Spain - I found it amusing that him saying that satisfied them, as most Mexicans have some degree of mixture with Spaniards). I think a lot of American people are ignorant to the fact that there are a lot of white Latin Americans, and they think all Latinos look the same, so when they meet someone that doesn't look like the idea they have of Mexicans or other Latinos, they tend to be very surprised.

I guess in your lilly white neighborhood where you probably never even see any black people, it doesn't happen so you have no idea what you're talking about. I think it's racism, out and out racism. Why do you always see black men with white women but you almost never see white men with black women?
The flip side of the question is why are Asian women more popular as dates or mates than Asian men? And the answer to both questions is that black men and Asian women fill their respective gender roles better.African-Americans, both men and women, are taller and stronger on average than most other Americans. The media exaggerates this by portraying black sports stars. This make black men seem more “masculine” and seemingly more desirable. The same qualities make black women (Serena Williams, perhaps?) seem less “feminine,” and therefore less desirable.Asian-Americans are physically, smaller and culturally quieter than other Americans (and the media plays up this as well). These are considered “feminine” traits that enhance the desirability of Asian-American females, and decrease the desirability of Asian American males.
Why do Mexicans fart so much?
I work with this one Mexican dude, and I suppose he is a nice enough fellow, but every time you walk by his work area, it smells like a fart, like it is just one continuous non stop fart that starts in the morning and doesn't finish coming out until the afternoon. I also made the mistake of going out with a Mexican girl once, and she farted twice on our date. I mean I had a live- in girlfriend for a year, and I didn't hear her fart once. This girl farted twice on a date! And I don't want to hear they eat beans. I know for a fact this girl didn't like beans and didn't eat them. Does anyone have an answer? Is it a nervous stomach? Are they upset about the immigration issue maybe?
