Why Do I Always Wake Up So Tired

I go to bed at 10pm, and wake up at 6. Why am I always so tired when I wake up?

The changes your body is going through at this age, are using more energy than at any other time of life!

You might need a bit more sleep at night. You could try catching up a few extra hours at weekends.

Also, check that you are not feeling tense when you go to bed - try to do something relaxing for half an hour before sleeping... watching TV, reading etc.

Talk to someone - parent or teacher - if you are wound up about school work and exams, or any other problem with school.

Although you may need another hour or so a night, I think that it's the QUALITY of your sleep that's the problem. You need to work out what is either disturbing your sleep, or unconsciously worrying you.

Trust me... I'm a teacher! ;-)

Why do I always wake up so early?

I had the same problem. I become sensitive to the early morning noises and so all the 6AM birds and traffic make me wake up early. Well I'm lazy and I don't like waking up that early, so when I first wake up, I'll put in earplugs and go back to sleep. I use gummy plus ear buds.

Why do I always wake up tired?

I personally have found it's all about the actual time. Not 6 am vs 9 am, but 9 am vs 8:30 am.You see sleep cycles are pretty much 1.5 hours for everyone. Researchers have only found single minute differences from person to person. So if you go to sleep at 12 am and get up at 9 am your mind may have started a new sleep cycle. Leaving you groggy. This is why going to bed at the same time is important. What I do when I have a new time to get up, for the long term, is I try getting up for a week at a specific time. If that doesn't work, I start backing the time up until I land on a time when I wake up easily. This tells me that I am between sleep cycles, in a shallow form of sleep and ready to wake up. So going to bed at 12 might make it best for you to get up at 7:45, you will have to experiment a little.

I'm always tired when I wake up in the morning no matter how much I sleep Why am I always tired? Has anyon any

Well it depends on a number of things I think, but I'm no expert:

a.) Do you drink coffee?
If yes, then you might have a caffeine addiction, generally meaning you need caffeine to function normally.
If no, proceed to question b
b.) Is your sleeping schedule regular?
The body needs time to adjust to any given sleeping schedule, so if you're not sleeping regularly on a consistent basis (so 8 hrs a night regularly), then your body will continually be adjusting, and so your body's not sure if you're getting too much or too little sleep (both cause sleepiness). Napping in afternoons can often throw this off too.
c.) How active are you?
Generally speaking, the more active you are the better you sleep at night.
d.) Do you snore?
I've heard before that snoring is caused by trouble breathing when you sleep, sleep-apnea I believe it's called. So therefore, snorers generally don't sleep as well. I think you can get surgery done on it or something.

Why am I always so tired on school days?

i normally go to sleep around 9:00 or 9:30 and wake up around 6:45 or 7. It is the worst time of the day when I have to get up, the feelings is almost unexplainable. I get up, Im half asleep I have no idea what im doing sometimes.

I go to school, and during the first fews period and the last few periods, thats when I feel most tired. I sometimes sleep in class, like while were watching science videos, and my eyes actually water when I yawn. I cant even count the amount of times I yawn each day and the amount of times my eyes water. People even ask if im crying.

Also, even when im not really tired on like weekends, my eyes still water. It seems like i cant keep them open without them watering.

Im really tired of this and please please please if you could tell me why im having these problems!

Why do my eyes always feel tired when I wake up in the morning?

It's probably because you're not getting the adequate amount of sleep or that your sleep 8s in excess. Sleep only for 6 - 7 hours. It should be more than enough. Try various stress relieving methods like meditation and keep yourself calm. Don't get too tensed since it can be one of the reasons for lack of sleep even when you sleep longer than usual.

Why do I always wake up sleepy?

I just slept for 9 hours and I feel like going back to sleep for 2 - 4 more hours. I go to sleep at sometimes 7:30pm or between that time & 9pm or so. I seldom stay up late. So why do I feel so tired? Im so sleepy and it effects my life because I have things to do but I can't because ill lay back down and go back to sleep.
