Why Do I Feel Dizzy When I See Blood

Do you faint/feel dizzy whenever you see blood?

:(

YES!
I don't know why I'm like this...I wasn't even like this when
I was younger...but once at the doctors, I went for a blood test,
and I was a bit fine, then I got all happy, then my mom began talking to my sister and said: It's ok, it's just a blood test...and at that moment, my feet started trembling and my hearing became all weird and my eyesight got really horrible...I felt super dizzy, and had to lie down :(
Writing this answer makes me feel super uncomfortable, and my
stomach feels like its like flipped upside down :O
i have a weak stomach D:

ugh...I'm super scared. I think now it's getting worse..if I step foot
in a doctor's office, i probably will faint. lol
that's how bad it is for me :(

Why do I feel weak whenever I see blood?

I get very week whenever I see blood or an injury, or even if someone's describing it. I get stiff and numb and if someone touches me I feel very uncomfortable
This feeling can last from a few seconds to minutes depending on the situation

Why do people get dizzy when they see blood?

i have this problem
it's caused by a drop in blood pressure because your heart rate increases which sends false message that your heart's ventricle is full of blood. your heart then sends a message to the nervous system that the blood pressure is too high when in reality it is too low. when your brain gets the message it slows your heart rate and dilates the blood vessels, which causes less blood to be pumped to the brain and a person can get dizzy or even faint.

the reason some people don't get sick at the sight of blood while others do is called blood-injury phobia. this condition evolved as a way for people to cope with threats. soldiers who fainted would appear dead and would be passed over in a battle. also, the sudden drop in blood pressure would prevent the injured from bleeding to death. survivors passed down the fainting gene.

a good way to train youself to withstand the sight of blood is to expose yourself to it in small steps. for example, start out by looking at mildly gory picutes, then slowly work your way up to watching medical shows, surgeries and things like that, then once you're comfortable with that start exposing yourself to actual blood.

Why do we start feeling dizzy after losing blood?

The blood carries oxygen, that is used by the brain cells to function. Your pressure drops when you lose blood, because there is less volume of blood in your circulatory system. As a result, your brain cells don't receive the correct amount of oxygen to work, resulting in dizziness. If you lose too much blood, you may faint or even die, the brain will stop working. Is the same thing that happen when you're suffocating.

Why do i feel dizzy and faint when I play my oboe?

That's normal. You feel dizzy because you are blowing alot of air into the horn. Just play as much as you can, but don't overdo it. Stop and rest when you need to. As time passes, you'll be able to play longer and longer and the symptoms will eventually go away completely. I used to play the flute and the same thing happened to me.

Why do I feel faint when people talk about blood?

Whenever people are talking about blood or needles or health related things, I feel faint. My palms get sweaty, I get dizzy, sometimes I feel cold, everything starts to look weird and I get a really bad headache. Why does this happen and how can I make it stop? Thanks.

Why do I feel like fainting when I see my own blood?

Do you feel similarly if you have blood drawn at a doctor or lab? If not, you may just be afraid of the consequences of uncontrolled bleeding--a reasonable fear, but one that may not "kick in" for most people except at greater degrees. Regardless, fear may provoke a vasovagal reaction, which slows the heart rate and can cause fainting.

Why some people faint, vomit, or feel sick when they see blood, butchered animals/humans?

It's something associated with autonomic nervous system of the body called as vasovagal attack in which anxiety may trigger vagus and coz bradycardia fall in heart rate n bloodpressure leading to reduced blood pressure to brain n that leading to syncope....within seconds the bodies autoregulation mechanism starts and person again regains his consciousness

Dizzy! help!?

It sounds to me that you are pregnant i would go to the doctors and make sure that you aren't pregnant and if your not then they can take your blood pressure and see if its low and check and see if your sugar is ok. Sometimes you can take a pregnancy and test and it say its negative and you can really be pregnant. Some women have to get blood taken to see if there pregnant because there HCG hormones aren't strong enough to let the test know that you are pregnant. Or you could have taken it to early. But i hope everything goes well for you and congrats if you are pregnant.
