Oh sweetie... I am so sorry to hear that. You need to keep in mind that the only reason they are doing that is because you represent something they don't understand and that scares them. I would say just ignore it as much as possible, keep close to your friends and surround yourself with people that love and support you. If it gets worse, you might have to report it, but just remind yourself that it is THEIR ignorance that is causing the problem, its nothing that you are doing or have done.

Of course I would. If I tell my children that they can only dress as their own gender I believe I would be stunting them as human beings, and they may grow up to be ignorant and sexist. Little kids dont understand the politics of gender, they just think a character is fun or magical and gender does not come into it. Its only when the parents start filling their kids heads with sexist and gender issues that they even notice. I believe you should allow your kids to have their own beliefs on everything even if you do not agree with them. It is not fair to censor them with your prejudice's, just let them be kids.
