On 2/4/11 Network began blocking MO-SMS phones from sending text-only messages if the phones do not have MO-SMS service provisioned. The block was put in place to have customers call Care to provision their MO-SMS phones and prevent incorrect billing. Did you put in the area code? for example my number is 1234567 well you cant send a message to it, only call it to send a text you have to have the 3 digit area code for example (669)1234567 save her number to your contact list but save it witht he area code that way you dont have to re-type the number each time

Soo I have verizon. And I went to send a message to a friend and it sailed "failed to deliever; send again?" and I said no then it would say "Message Not Delievered. Invalid Destination." and then my friends number. Does this mean he blocked my number or that his phone got turned off? Or what does it mean? Please and thank you.
How to I fix the "invalid address" error on my cricket phone while sending picture messages?
This has been happening to me ever since Thursday Night. I have Cricket, and the messanger phone. It's very weird, i can send regular messages without it prompting anything, but when i try to send a picture, its been saying "invalid address". I've had this phone for about a year, but i've had Cricket for about 3 years, and have had nothing happen like that before. Maybe, its just a cricket thing, like maybe they are fixing a problem and have shut down pic msg for everyone with Cricket. Because the day before that (Wednesday) it was completely fine, like i could send picture messages with no problem at all. I don't understand the part where it says "Invalid Address" because to the same person i can send a regular text message and call with no problem. I think they are just doing something with Cricket for these couple days, and hopefully it will be fixed. Let me know when/if you find anything out.(:

"error invalid number" when sending text?
Make sure you have 1 and the area code in front of the number and also double check you have the right number and not a house number because it won't send to that either.
