Why Do I Get Pop-ups Telling Me To Sign Into Yahoo Mail After Opening Each E-mail

Emails won't delete in yahoo mail, they keep reappearing in my inbox?

I click on an email and then click on delete. Presto, gone. And then it's back in my inbox. sometimes up to five times. I click on trash and click to empty it, sometimes the trash empties and sometimes it doesn't. If the trash empties, it seems to take the email permanently, but it shouldn't come back in the first place when I initially delete it. I'm using Firefox, if that makes a difference.

When I sign into yahoo mail it keeps asking me if I want to whitelist my email or upgrade to the paid version. Why?

Like me, you must be using an ad-blocker. Yahoo doesn't want to miss out on making money off of people, and if you don't see the ads, they don't get paid. I just ignore the pop up window, and will probably be moving over to Gmail in the near future.

My tab says after I log into Yahoo, "Yahoo Mail @aliglsh... is this suppose to be there?

I am tabing into my mail instead of going above into the address bar and I thought that the tab just says yahoo on it all the way through; since I am new to the computer, I thought according to my pop-ups, it said my e-mail address was blocking my computer in the sence that it was slower. Is this suppose to happen? I thought that it would just say Yahoo all the way through. I hope you understand what I am talking about.

Why do I keep getting SIGN-IN FAILED. SERVER PW HAS CHANGED. ENTER NEW PW on my cell phone?

I had the same issue since my Samsung Galaxy S3 did a software upgrade about a week ago. Here's what finally worked for me after deleting stored passwords, trying to put the password in under incoming mail settings, and all the other nonsense that people said to try. Go on the computer and change your Yahoo password (just do something easy like a capital letter). Then go to Playstore and uninstall all Yahoo apps (mail, messenger, plug-in). Do a full shut down on your phone, not a restart, for a few minutes. Turn your phone on and when it is done rebooting, go back to the playstore and reinstall your Yahoo apps (all 3). Then go into your mail settings and go to the incoming mail settings and put in your new password (on your phone, not the computer). Good luck! This worked for me

I can't get my Yahoo! mail to come through Entourage?

Yahoo! Mail into the Microsoft Entourage email client for Macintosh? Here's how to do it:

1. Open the Entourage email client (application) and click the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Accounts" from the pull-down menu.
3. Click the "New" button in the upper-left corner of the Accounts window.
4. Enter your name as you would like it to appear to the recipient.
5. Click the radio button next to "I already have an email address that I'd like to use."
6. Enter your email address in the field provided (e.g. "user@yahoo.co.uk").
7. Select "My incoming mail server is a(n) POP3."
8. Enter pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk (your incoming mail server) in the field provided.
9. Enter smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk (your outgoing (SMTP) mail server) in the field provided.
10. In the "Account ID" field, enter your Yahoo! ID (e.g. your email address without the "@yahoo.com").
11. Enter your password.
12. To have the Entourage client remember your password so you won't need to enter each time you send or receive mail, check the "Remember password" box.
13. Enter your full Yahoo! email address in the "Account Name" field.
14. Click "Finish."
Important: The Yahoo! SMTP server requires authentication. To enable this setting, do the following:
1. Open the Entourage client (application) and click the "Tools" menu.
2. Select "Accounts" from the pull-down menu.
3. Double-click your Yahoo! account.
4. On the Account Settings window, scroll to the "Sending Mail" category toward the bottom.
5. Click "Click Here for Advanced Sending Options."
6. Check the box next to "SMTP Server Requires Authentication."
7. Close this window by clicking the tiny box in the upper-left corner.
8. Click "OK."
To ensure the new settings are configured properly, we suggest closing the Entourage client and opening it again before sending or receiving messages.

Add Yahoo! us-mg6.mail.yahoo as an application for mailto links in firefox constant pop-ups- started Fri 4/12?

Starting on Fri (4/12) no matter which yahoo acct I sign into when using firefox I keep getting this pop-up. Even clicking 'x' to ignore it (aka not add it), it still comes up again anytime I log into yahoo mail.

Under tools--->options-->application I made sure 'mailto' was (already) set up to 'outlook' rather than 'ask', but popups still occur. 'Outlook' email program was always the default mail app anyway (as it should be).

Is this occurring specifically w/ Firefox users who have set up firefox synch set via firefox sync acct? Asking b/c I had set up firefox sync acct on Fri and later on Fri I noticed this pop-up, so i removed (deleted) the firefox sync acct, cleared cookies & cache and yet those pop-ups still happen.

See others have reported this same issue the past few days. Any update when this issue w/ Firefox will be fixed? Thanks in advance for any update.

Can I see if someone read my email in Yahoo mail?

Your question refers to the “read receipt” which is not a feature of Internet-based free email. It's only part of the feature set of business email exchangers like Microsift Outlook Exchange. You first would’ve had to request a read receipt, while sending each such message of interest. So the short answer is: at home, probably not. At work, it depends, but likely no unless you requested such notification when you sent the message. Some systems support ex-post-facto read receipts, but unless you included a read receipt request originally, that may be immaterial, anyway. When I don't get a timely reply, I may try two or three other modes to contact the recipient. These include messages with subjects like 2nd REQUEST: {original subject}, polite phone calls, contacting their support staff or other coworker with a general inquiry. I have never considered contacting the IT dept. to ask if the person checks messages often. Non-communicative types are generally “off their radar,” too.Note that although it's tempting to jump to conclusions, even when message recipients receive read requests (which may pop up even via Yahoo! Mail—read their Help pages for full details), the recipient can easily decline to notify you. So unless you phone them to inquire, you may never know if they read your message or not. Auto-responders provide no proof. For proof: certified paper mail with proof of delivery. Ask any paralegal. It's a modern-life reality that people with inflated egos and/or criminal tendencies routinely disregard the usual niceties of acknowledging that they’ve received and/or read messages. Or maybe they’re behind in their correspondence/work, or they simply dislike you and may wish to continue patterns of passive-aggressive behavior? Some issues have no technological solution. HR dept. visit, anyone? The same people who fail to return phone calls and never reply to email messages used to pay secretaries to run interference for them. When observing such behavior/patterns in someone: I advise going over or around them. Changing them is not your job.Be careful of accusing others without real evidence. Red flags? Being the first “snitch” who identifies ongoing passive-aggressive behaviors may impact your popularity, but exposing cretins for exactly who they are can be fun and may improve.culture in time. Thanks for the A2A. Sorry if I overshared, lol.

How do I configure Yahoo mail in the Gmail app of Android?

Both answers are correct but now Yahoo doesn’t allow you to sign in to other apps directly, when you try method described in the answers yahoo will say that your email or password are incorrect. Don’t be panic, sign in to your yahoo email account you have received an email in which yahoo gives link to unlock your account for other app.
