Someone could of gotten into your email account. Pass words are not that hard to break exspecially if you know the person really well. You should be changing your pass words every couple of weeks as a safe gaurd. But I do a forgot pass word and then change it for your own safety. Good luck!!

I recently logged out of my account and attempted to log back in several minutes later and it said I gave incorrect e-mail/password. I have always had the same e-mail and password for this specific tumblr account. But, I cannot access the account. When I search the e-mail address it says that there is not an account associated with it. I checked my saved passwords just to make sure that I did not change my e-mail or something and then forgot about it, but all I could find is the account information that I already tried. I e-mailed Tumblr support, but it could take a while for a response. What can I do to recover my account?

I had the same issue since my Samsung Galaxy S3 did a software upgrade about a week ago. Here's what finally worked for me after deleting stored passwords, trying to put the password in under incoming mail settings, and all the other nonsense that people said to try. Go on the computer and change your Yahoo password (just do something easy like a capital letter). Then go to Playstore and uninstall all Yahoo apps (mail, messenger, plug-in). Do a full shut down on your phone, not a restart, for a few minutes. Turn your phone on and when it is done rebooting, go back to the playstore and reinstall your Yahoo apps (all 3). Then go into your mail settings and go to the incoming mail settings and put in your new password (on your phone, not the computer). Good luck! This worked for me
