Why Do I Have Weird Dreams

Why do I get weird dreams?

Maybe your imagination is just crazy? I don't know. Maybe you are stressed or something. I mean I used to get these two weird dreams. One has a T Rex and it that's about to eat me. But before he does I'll say no T Rex no!! Every time I had this dream the T Rex would get closer to his mouth like he is ready to chomp off my head. and then I would wake up.The other dream that I would have  would always start different. Either I am running away from somebody or running away from a killer. Anyways I would always end up at the same spot. The last time i had this dream I knew that I shouldn't go into the the river. Because whatever is in there that pulls me down, would be there. So I was backing away from the river when an invisible hand pushed me in. I woke up right before I drowen. I haven't had these two dreams in about a year. So try and not to worry about too much. Because it is just a DREAM!  BTW have you heard that scientists are coming up with a machine that can record your dreams? CREEPY!!!!

Why do I keep having weird dreams?

Honestly, most dreams are pretty weird. What REALLY sucks is when you have realistic dreams and then later you aren't sure if something actually happened or not.

There are some things that have occurred in many people's dreams at least once. For example a flying dream. It usually feels as if flying has always been you usual mode of transportation, and usually occurs when you have been "liberated" of something in real life. I had a flying dream when I first moved out on my own. Also many people have dreamed that they were someone else. I dreamed that I was a girl once! In that same dream I was being chase (hey, I was hot!) Chasing dreams are common too.

Also, the waking up process can't get pretty screwy for a lot of people. Some people know they are in a dream and can control what happens, but usually wake up soon after they realize it (lucid dreaming). Some people wake up, go about their morning, and then actually wake up because the first time (or more) was a dream. They wake up feeling as if they have just woken up a bunch of times already, but they were really just dreams. Some people know they are asleep, but can't move or open their eyes. (while you are dreaming, your body releases a hormone to paralyze you so you don't act out your dream and potentially hurt yourself). There are many variations of these, like knowing you are in bed, having a nightmare, so you try frantically to wake up, but you don't really realize it's not real because it's just a dream!

Why do you keep having weird dreams? Because dreams are weird.

Why do I have weird dreams when I'm sick?

When you are sick, your brain may function differently in terms of brain activity at night. However, the weird dream you may have may just a reflection of some sort. It is just that when you are sick, you tend to remember it than you are not sick.

Anyway, as far as your dream goes, Peacock may symbolize attention seeking. Projecting peacock kept saying "I am gonna eat you" may reflect some helplessness in you. The cooking scrambled eggs may reflect your usual task The peacock eating your scrambled eggs may just represent some attention taken away from others.

In other words, you are seeking for attention from others; however, due to certain situation, you are being controlled or being left out in some way and that is why you had this dream vent out.

Why do I have weird dreams when I'm sick?

When we are sick, our fever effects our brain and we start dreaming about strange things. Too much fever causes hallucinations.

Similarly many medicines which we take during our sleep also cause weird dreams and hallucinations. During sickness sleep you can see frightening dreams also.

However some people report that they can see very awesome and interesting dreams during sleep.

Why do I have weird dreams when I have a fever, or when my room is too hot?

I know my answer is a little late but a fever can increase the electrical activity in the brain creating more vivid and weirder dreams. A fever can also cause the brain to create abnormalities in electrical activities causing 'febrile seizures' which are rarer for adults and more common in children. Febrile seizures are harmless but can be scary for the victim and relatives who may be caring for he/she.  This happens because your body temperature rises affecting your brain as your brain cannot function properly when its over heated. Think of it like your pc at home; when it gets a bit too warm it starts to run slower and glitch, that's exactly what happens to your brain.
