Why Do I Keep Dreaming Something Bad Happens To My Dog

Why do I keep having dreams where I'm in danger?

The dreams are yours. Sometimes they are caused by stress, sometimes they are caused to add excitement also. Ask yourself first what is going on with your life. I have ran across a lot of people who don’t have anything major in their life happening, yet they can’t understand why they dream about situations that place them in danger. Dreams can do a lot of things, they can also be entertaining. If you have no stress in your life, the possibility is that life got so boring for you that your subconscious put you in exciting situations. The other aspect is you are having a problem where you are trying to find an answer for “something” in your life that needs resolving, but you just haven’t figured out a solution. Each dream may tell you more based on who was in the dream and the scenario. When  it comes to dreams I don’t believe in random, I always look to see what I am telling myself. The subconscious communicates with you to enforce ideas, to tell you of problems, to show you desires and fix issues you have in life. The trick is to remember that what we give you on line is like a guide, something to think about. The real interpretation is how you perceive it. No one will know you better then you or know about what you are going through in  life. Look at what we say and evaluate it, but the final answer to it’s meaning is based on your answer. If it is your dream, you can change it, focus after the dream of what you could do to change the dream in a conscious state. If it’s an assault, imagine yourself winning the battle. If it’s a trap, imagine a way out. If you are being chased and hunted, turn it around and become the hunter. If that doesn’t work, and I know this is going to sound silly, play a video game where you have to fight creatures. There are actual studies that those who play video games fight off their nightmares. Google this: Video Gamers Can Control Dreams, Study Suggests.

Why did I dream about my dog getting hurt?

This morning, I woke up a little scarred
Because I had a dream someone dressed as a dog (like a costume) was beating my dog & another dog. What does this dream mean?
Kinda freaked me out. I love my dog so much
She's a really good dog, I only get mad at her when she runs off from me when I take her to the restroom. Other than that she's the best.

What does it mean i dream and then it happens the next day?

its happened for the past few months but its not very usefull because i wake up forgetting that i have dreamt it so i only remember when it actually happens the next day.

For example..

I had a dream about a toffee and white coloured cocker spaniel puppy, and then the next day my friend randomly told me she was getting a puppy, she showed me a photo of the one she was getting and it was the exact dog in my dream the night before.

And last night i dreamt that i was in co-op with my grandad and we were at the till paying for his shopping and i put stir fry vegetables in a shopping bag, i woke up this morning, and my grandad came round at that very moment and told me he'd just bought some stir-fry vegetables to have for his dinner!

Another one was when i had got my braces off and i started wearing a retainer, i dreamt that my dog got hold of it and broke it in half! The next morning i was eating my breakfast, took my retainer out and the dog got it off the side and broke it!

Its not a one off thing, it happens basically every night, i just don't understand it because surely its physically impossible to dream / think of something the day before it happens if you had absolutely no idea it was going to happen?

Is it like a gift or power? or a mental problem (probably knowing me lol)

Bad dreams about my dog dying... I can't handle this!!!?

You are suffering from seperation anxiety. It's not to abnormal. I've heard of this before. Some people get so connected to there pets that just going away even for a little while can cause anxiety. It's usually because deep down inside you may feel guilty for leaving them behind. And the bad dreams are caused by these feelings of guilt. Don't worry so much! Reason? Dogs have unconditional love. They love you no matter how long you may have to stay away. You must realize. Dogs are primarily creatures that live in the moment and don't have incredibly long attention spans. I'm not saying that they don't remember. I'm just saying they live in the now and they don't have feelings of guilt that last for very long" Unlike humans" LOL! I want you to try an experiment for me. Go take a 15 min walk around the block without your dog and then come back in your house and watch your dogs reaction. Then the next time you have to be gone for school, @ a sleep over, or camping trip where your gone for an extended period of time. Then come home to your dog and watch his reaction. It's no different than when you took the 15min walk and came home. Dog's have almost no concept of time "Unlike Humans". Wether it's 15min or 15 days. He still loves you. And I'm sure your mom can see how much you love and cherish this dog. So I don't think she is going to have him put down. In fact she probably loves that dog as much as you do. Even if she won't admit it. Try keeping a pic of your dog in your wallet or maybe keep one in your dorm room at school. And every time you feel like your missing him look at the pic and remember that he is fine and is being well cared for at moms. And that he's gonna be so happy to see you and thrilled to play with you when your togather again. And if it's not to late and your sure it won't disturturb mom . Call and see how the big guy is doing. It will help put you at ease that he is ok. Good luck.

Why did I have a dream last night that a dog was biting my hand and it was very real?

Okayyy so this can mean a few different things. It would be helpful to know just a few more things like if you actually know the dog in the dream (which would point more towards an actual warning about being bitten, or associated with an argument and/or reason to caution trusting the person in your life who owns the dog); or if you dont know the dog it most likely is representing your inner instincts, urges, impulses and emotions. It then biting you represents that some of those above things might literally turn and bite you! Maybe you repress your feelings or needs/desires? Or maybe you let these things get carried away and out of hand? Most interesting though is the element of how you say just how Real it seemed. In My experience this usually means something that will happen in reality so beware. Also important for you to consider to yourself is how You personally feel about dogs. Do you or do you not have a phobia/fear/bad memory of a dog? If not, then lean more towards dogs representing your urges, impulses, needs etc.Beware black dogs can represent death of someone in the future. (And yes this has quite literally happened to me in my personal experience a couple times, creepy). And aggressive/barking dogs in general can represent an argument. Also, beware of putting full trust in friends or those around you.

What does dreaming about my dog in danger mean?

I had bad dreams about both of my two dogs. First dream this morning was about my one dog, thre wre these few huge men with big bodies wth faces shaped like a rhinoceros, thy wre dancing and dressed like wedding performers. one of them looked too much like a rhino and I start getting scared of him, he was just smiling and dancing but I keep moving backward away from him, next thing I know I'm in dirty water and I was holding my dog trying to get him across to the safer side of the bank.. but thre wre two antagonising pink human like rhinos and a true animal rhino who starts biting my dog and I'm scared trying to go across so desperately but I'm further in muddy water and I'm now worried about other dangers like crocodiles or snakes that may be just under the surface. It ws horrible..and I woke up from that dream.
Then in a second dream, abt my other dog. He was in a room with a bunch of other dogs. Thre are other concerned people in the room. Then a supposed vet and a nurse enter the room with a check off list and a huge spray type thing that has liquid poison of some sort tthat will kill the dogs. He starts by taking down one dog by spraying it onto the dogs anus and soon after tht dog goes down shaking and struggling his way to death. It was terrifying!. One by one they go, till it's my dogs turn and I'm in panic thinking about ways to sneak him out thre. My dog hides behind this huge table that is sideways against the wall, and I follow him behind thre quickly and I put him in my pocket. I was wearing a white coat with a deep pocket. Everyone is talking and the vets can't figure whre the last dog is and thyre just involved with themselves. I leave right away and when I'm out of thre, this entire thing has switched into some crazy chase whre this has now turned into some dark legal issue and we're on the road this that. And I just woke up in the middle of it. What does this mean? I had ths dream too whre my dog and other dogs wre running out from a hugehouse fire
