Why Do I Keep Having Nightmares Of My Family Being Shot

I keep having dreams/nightmares about my grandma dying. But I dont want her to die.?

You're having these dreams to help you through a difficult time. It's your mind's way of letting you deal with the possibility of her dying. Spend as much time with her as you can and let her know how much you love her and what she means to you. Don't stress about the dreams--they just mean that you know you won't have her with you as long as you would like.

Why do I keep getting nightmares of being tortured by my friends?

Perhaps they are not very nice friends and your subconscious is trying to warn you about them. Perhaps you have betrayed or cheated them and your subconscious is warning you that you will be found out and punished. There are many possibilities but really only you have the answer. Try asking your subconscious. Ask out loud and then answer out loud by expressing the first thought that comes into your mind. See what happens.

Why do I keep having nightmares about being shot in a public mass shooting?

I already read other comments and they're all experienced and educated people. Well at least that's what I can see from their answers. As suggested by someone that answered, try to get some weapons or think of plans to avoid public mass shooting. Think of where the incident can happen, how many people will be involved and your chances of survival if you cannot avoid it.You said that you keep getting nightmares about getting shot in a public mass shooting. I've read somewhere years ago that if you dream of the same thing three times then there's a high chance that your dream might be brought to real life.I don't take that seriously as it is not a fact, at least maybe not yet. But you might be a clairvoyant, a person who get glimpses of future events through visions or dreams. Have you dreamed of something or get visions and it happens in real life? If you have experienced that then I suggest you to pay attention to this nightmare of yours. This nightmare might be caused by fake memories. Yes, fake memories do exist but if you pay close attention then you can recognize which is real and which is not. Another possible cause is your phobias, if you have any.Try not to think about it too much, but don't ignore it. I don't think your brain likes to repeat the same dream every night for no reason.

I dreamed that my family was shot and I was being chased by white supremacists. Help?

My family and I are Puerto Ricans. We are a very normal family. I am in no way shape or form racist against white people myself.

Anyway... I dreamed that my family and I were in some different state, I guess, for vacation. I wandered off and was near a bridge, looking at people and things. All of a sudden, I accidentally got hitchhiked by people, and I told them that I wasn't part of the group. They understood and dropped me off. When my parents and I reunited, we bickered and then walked to our car. That was when I turned and looked and saw cars pulling out and a bunch of crazy white men came out and started shooting us. I ducked and tried to pull my mom to safety, but I couldn't and saw her head explode by the shooting. Anyway, I ran away to a store, and these two ladies wouldn't help me because, in their own words, "I wasn't one of them." it was so scary. So I ran into this room and a weird little man told me to hide, so I did. The white men came and I think killed the little guy, so I busted out and ran away, and that was the end of it...

What does this all mean? I'm sure it has nothing to due with race, but is it an impending danger near the future?

What does it mean when you dream of getting shot by a bullet and dying slowly?

I had a dream like this that just woke me.  In the past I have had dreams I call "vivid".  In these dreams I have all 5 senses and I usually wake up and remember it all.  In my dream I has in an urban area and I lived in a building with glass doors and a security system with my mother.  The people I dealt with and sold prescription pills to were wearing yellow bandanas, the other people that ended up shooting me wore blue bandanas.  A person grabbed a bottle of pills and ran with it.  I followed them outside with a shotgun and was shooting at them.  They jumped into a hummer-limo and their friends jumped out firing back with scoped automatic rifles.  One shot hit me in the heart and I felt it. I went back in and my mother seemed concerned, and appeared to call 911.   I was still handling business waiting on an ambulance and in a few minutes I asked her if one was coming and she said " I don't know."  I went outside to make my way to the freeway while calling one myself.  I remember my heart beating harder and skipping beats as I walked...The 911 number said that the emergency services were "temporary unavailable" and I started back to the building when I was surrounded with yellow bandana wearing thugs who pulled out a tube full of yellow liquid.  it was like the tubes in hospitals used in an IV.  Some of the liquid dripped on my hand and burned like acid.  They said I stole from them and I proclaimed my innocence, because I didn't.  I accused the "boss" Hispanic in origin of being the thief.  He said it wasn't him and I tried to make a truce.  They just laughed and he was forcing me at gunpoint to put the tube into the hole in my chest and drain the liquid into my heart.  I told him to drink some to prove it was safe to which he clearly "pretended" to drink some and laughed when I called him out on it.  That is the moment I woke up.  I still have a spasm in my chest from the pain of being shot in my dream.  Any suggestions would be nice.

Dreaming about my boyfriend getting shot?

Dreams are a reflection of our subconscious. You may have had the first dream because you love your boyfriend and are scared of something happening to him. Maybe you're currently worried about him right now, whatever. I've had lots of dreams of loved ones dying, and I know they can be awful. The second dream probably came because you were so freaked out about the first dream. Usually things that we experience and think about a lot in our day to day lives occur in our dreams. So if you were obsessing about that dream, it's highly likely that you'd have another. It'll be okay though! Just try not to think about it.

Dream about being chased and shot?

Getting shot could represent some harsh words you were given in waking life, and being chased to the death could just be something bugging you in waking life - dreams do exaggerate. But, its still very useful to figure them out.

The lane being narrow, parked cars on either side, would tend to indicate that you can't get out of the waking life issue that the chaser represents untarnished, that is without damaging your pysche or image (i.e. crashing your car). Whatever the issue is, you are not facing it head on, because you were shot running away, in the back.

The number 20 could be a major clue, believe it or not. It could refer to an issue that started when you were 20 - check that out, but don't hesitate to throw it away if there is nothing there.

The man chasing you never falls far behind because ... he is a part of you. The problem is something in your own self, so you can never get away. If you have any clues about the issue (these could come from the dream if you had more detail about the man, or how the dream started), try to face them head on.

Calling your girlfriend may seem cheesy to you, but in dreamspeak it could be a clue to get in touch with your emotions, because the fairer sex is so much better at that then we are, typically. It could also signal that you need to lean on your relationships (not just with her, but in general), in order to actually solve the issue. Or, maybe right-brained thinking would help (by that I mean big picture, creative, out of the box thinking, rather than the linear logic that men are usually good at).

Hope that helps.
