Why Do Liberals Judge People By The Color Of Their Skin And Not By The Content Of Their Character

Do people vote for others based on skin color rather than for what they stand for?

A certain number of the population will vote for candidates because of their genitalia or their skin color.I can’t tell you how many liberals were proud of themselves for “electing the first black President.” They acted as though they had personally thrown a brick through the window of racism. They knew nothing of Obama’s policy positions - they simply voted based upon his skin color. The same could be said of Hillary Clinton. They voted for her, not based on anything other than wanting to put someone with a pudenda into the Oval Office. The irony of them voting this way is that it re-enforces the racism or sexism they state they’re trying to destroy. They are, in fact, voting based on skin color, or gender, rather than qualifications. What’s sad is that this irony is lost on them.

How come liberals think people deserve equal treatment yet ostracize President Donald Trump?

Donald Trump was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and had a tantrum because it wasn't covered in gold. He's white (or at least he was), male, cishet, extraordinarily rich. He had everything he needed to succeed. He had everything he needed to succeed whilst not being a dick about it.In his bubble, the next step after going bankrupt five times, scamming thousands of workers and being accused of sexually assaulting not one, not two but eleven different women is to run for president (which, by the way, you misspelled, OP).I wouldn't trust an author to do brain surgery on me. I wouldn't trust a neurosurgeon to represent me in court. I wouldn't trust a lawyer to write a successful fantasy book. But America, apparently, is trusting a businessman to run their government. He doesn't know what he's doing, that much is obvious. He's not a politician. He's unqualified for the position. He knew that when he registered for the primary. This man is attempting to strip millions of Americans of their rights. He's dangerous.

Did you know that Martin Luther King wasn't a Liberal?

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.

Martin Luther King

That was Martin Luther King's speech. Now compare that to collectivism.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Collectivism

Collectivism is any philosophic, political, religious, economic, or social outlook that emphasizes the interdependence of every human being in a society or civilization. Collectivism is a basic cultural element that exists as the reverse of individualism in human nature (in the same way high context culture exists as the reverse of low context culture). Collectivist orientations stress the importance of cohesion within social groups (such as an "in-group", in what specific context it is defined) and in some cases, the priority of group goals over individual goals.

Now compare that to individualism.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Individualism

Individualism is the moral stance, political philosophy, ideology, or social outlook that emphasizes "the moral worth of the individual".[1][2] Individualists promote the exercise of one's goals and desires and so value independence and self-reliance[3] and advocate that interests of the individual should achieve precedence over the state or a social group,[3] while opposing external interference upon one's own interests by society or institutions such as the government.

If you can't see what Martin Luther King is talking about here than you are too dumb for me to bother with.

If a redneck is racist in his trailer park and there are no black people around to hear it, is he really racist?

Interesting question, first you assume black people can't be racist which is a racist assumption in itself. Second you stereotype rednecks as racists as if racism was only the province of rednecks. As someone who has known rednecks and other people, I can tell you it's not. In fact, right now most of the racism comes from white and black college professors teaching "white privilege" and other BS. These are the same kind of people that treat black Republicans like garbage because they refuse to live in the Democratic Plantation where white liberals are always good and Republicans are always back. Deep down, it is the white liberals who are the most racist, because they are desperate to be accepted by the black community. In other words, they do not treat blacks as individuals but as tokens, as collector items to parade. "Look at me, I have black friends, I'm not a racist." Pathetic. The best strategies for combating racist attitudes is not to berate people for being "racist" but to state your facts and let them do what they will. Of course, in my opinion we would be better off doing our thing and stop demanding that we all think and act alike. I do not like the racism coming from the Nation of Islam and the Black Panthers but I choose to ignore it. I have a gun, I can defend myself, I don't need to bother my neighbors and demand they think like I do. Lastly, I get along with people based on ideology. If you're a black Republican or libertarian chances are we're gonna have a lot to talk about, but if you're a damn socialist or communist or one of those politically correct liberals without a sense of humor, we won't get along. Suffice to say, I practice MLK's idea about judging the content of their character and not the color of their skin, so I may love or hate your character, but I will never kiss your ass for being black, brown, yellow or pink.

Why do conservatives think calling out their racism is racist?

Honestly asserting facts by saying, “You stated that you believe one race is superior to another” is calling out someone’s racism. Those people are fully deserving of being called out, regardless of what political stripe they are.Slandering someone’s character by saying, “You’re a white male, therefore your criticism is racist” is racist. Character attacks aren’t arguments, they’re red meat for crowds. Not too long ago, I was debating a liberal over Trump’s point-base immigration system. The person in question decided to counter my argument by claiming, “I get it, you don’t like brown people”. In spite of the fact that I had never brought up race, except to point out that it should not be a factor when determining whether someone can immigrate or not.Slandering someone isn’t addressing their argument, and it isn’t “calling them out”. It’s just being rude. When you argue with someone, the conversation should be fixated on the quality and truthfulness of their arguments, not baseless suppositions on what you think their reasons are for holding the opinions that they do.Maybe they’re racists that want to see a return of Jim Crow. Or perhaps they’re just people that disagree with you, and want to see this country and everyone in it prosper just as much as you do. You don’t know, and unless they state so plainly, you should not pretend that you do know. After all, if you won’t give them the benefit of the doubt, why should they?

Is it appropriate to call out people wearing MAGA gear in public as racists? At what point does tolerance of intolerance become unacceptable?

Is it appropriate to call out people wearing MAGA gear in public as racists? At what point does tolerance of intolerance become unacceptable?I wonder what goes through the mind of someone who sees another person they’ve never met before, and know nothing about, that leads to the assumption that the person is a racist.Didn’t Martin Luther King Jr. say that we should not judge people by outward appearances?Judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin. This goes for blacks, whites, and others.Do you think it’s fair to call someone a racist because they are wearing a hat?And so what if someone is racist? Does being called a racist make them want to change?Frankly, there are very few racist people out there today. When the KKK has a rally, 30 people show up.What needs to be called out are all the people who are so quick to label everyone they disagree with a racist, homophobe, Islamophobe, or sexist.Does calling people names make them want to come to the table and work things out?How about a new tactic? Sit down with someone and find out what they think. Let’s not assume we know. Find out what they really think. Hear it from them, not from a blog, a TV show, or a person with a bullhorn.Start with what you have in common. And see if you can convince them with facts and logic that your side is a better way to live. You won’t convince them that they’re 100% wrong. When has that ever worked? Why not find the 90~95% of things you agree on, then convince them that, even though their way is a good idea, yours is slightly better.Try that. See how it works.Peace.Edit: The act of “calling someone out” should be reserved for something you can actually prove, not something you suspect.
