Why do some people claim NBC and MSNBC are liberal?
I don't get what's so liberal about a station that just let Sarah Palin co-host the Today Show this morning (NBC), and a station that hired Joe Scarborough to host a 3 hour show every weekday morning (MSNBC). On MSNBC, they do have quite a few liberal hosts. But they also have conservatives appear on every show regularly, such as S.E. Cupp, Michael Steele, Steve Schmidt, Tony Perkins, and Joe Watkins. Also on "Meet the Press", they've hosted GOP candidates like Newt Gingrich and Michele Bachmann several times already. In 2006, Scarborough donated about $4K to Derrick Kitts (R-OR) and the pres. of the "liberal" MSNBC didn't really do anything about that. But Keith Olbermann donated money to a Democrat, yet he was suspended for a while and eventually fired. I think the true liberal station is CurrentTV. Nothing else really comes close.
Liberals, would you still claim Islam is a religion of peace if you were punishable by death?
I find it sick when Liberals tell Ex-Muslims, Ex Muslim Gays, etc how they should feel about Islam I'm sure if you were declared punishable by death by a religion you would make it your objective in life to destroy the said religion and it's followers.
Why are liberals such fake people?
Thinking they're all high and mighty and always want a pat on the back from others. Is it because their parents neglected them and pretending like they have the moral high ground is how they get the attention they never got as children?
Why do liberals claim "Most Americans dont support Israel but love Palestine" when 74 percent of Americans have a favorable view of it?
74 percent of Americans have a favorable view of Israel while only 23 percent dont have a favorable view. Hamas has actually gone on record saying "We love death as much as Israelis love life." Plus Israel is a democracy, Palestine is a tyrannical state. Why do liberals say the deluded statement that "Most Americans support Palestine" when that statement isn't even close to true via the pew poll in the link?
America has never done anything wrong, so why do liberals claim they have?
We learn from smart conservative users on here that America has never done anything wrong, and is justified all the time. Nearly like a force of Jesus vs the forces of Satan in the world. Even in Samar Philippines in 1901 when General Jacob H. Smith gave the orders to kill everyone over the age of ten, which resulted in a slaughter of thousands. Even though this is all admitted even by the US openly in history today, many conservative smart users on here insist it's fake news and didn't happen and that all massacres are fake news and that Hiroshima and Nagasaki were also not cities, they were just military bases. Why do liberals care about history, why not just believe conservatives? Here is a picture from the US newspapers at the time being critical of the orders and what was done, but I am sure it's all fake news as smart conservatives tell me on here. They haven't heard about it so it must be a liberal fake news fantasy.
Why do some white liberals in the USA claim to support racial equality but live in predominantly white neighborhoods?
I am obviously not a white liberal, but for much (not all) of my adult life I have in fact lived in predominantly white neighborhoods. You know why?They're usually better.I don't mean it's better to be surrounded by white people. I mean that in the cities where I've lived -- Chicago, Boston, New York -- if you look for a neighborhood where the potholes are fixed regularly, the buses run punctually, the garbage is picked up reliably, the snow is cleared away promptly -- those neighborhoods are predominantly white. As it happens, I like roads that are largely pothole-free, I like buses that show up when they're supposed to, I like that garbage is taken away, I like streets that snowplows take care of.In Chicago, I went to school on the South Side and lived there -- albeit in the little protected enclave of Hyde Park, which is dominated by the University of Chicago -- for several years afterwards. Chicago's South Side is predominantly black, particularly the areas surrounding the U of C campus. And with the exception of Hyde Park, everything I noted above was true: on the South Side, snow got cleared away more slowly; the buses were notoriously unreliable; garbage trucks would randomly sometimes not show up; roads were rarely maintained.And it's not in my head, it's not an accident. There was one time in Chicago history when the South Side got good service. Only one. And that was when Harold Washington was mayor.Hmm. Why do people say white liberals are the biggest racist?
Because they believe that blacks can't help themselves and need someone to help them. To me, that's much more racist than suggesting that they're smart and strong enough to do it themselves.
