Why Do Librals Love To Mandate Things So Much

Why do liberals hate guns?

There are people that do want to outlaw all guns and those people are liberals. However not all liberals feel that way. Not even the majority of them.

For the ones that want to ban them, they think it will end all gun violence. They do not see it as a violation of rights because it is not a right they practice, so it's no loss to them.

Same with liberals who actually do want to do wealth re-distribution. Again it is not all liberals, but the people want it are liberals. It's not their money that would be distributed, so it's no loss to them.

Again, these ideas are not all liberals or even most, but the people who do believe them are liberals.

I bet all of you thumbs down didn't even read past the first line.... LOL

What do you think of this Liberal's defense of the Individual Mandate proving that the 10th Amendment is null?

and void regarding the Affordable Health Care Act. - I quoted the 10th Amendment which says that the Federal Government should not have the right to Mandate over States and this is the answer I got

"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States"
-- US Constitution, Article I, Section 8, Clause 1

US v Butler established that Congressional power to tax is broad and not subject to the limitations imposed by the other enumerated powers of the Congress. NFIB v Sebelius established that the "individual mandate" of the Affordable Care Act is a tax.

Your alleged contravention of the Tenth Amendment does not exist in reality.

Sounds like the Government is closing in to me. In actuality I am very familiar with that and know that in 2016 that penalty will be: In 2016, the first year the penalty is fully in place, those who don’t carry insurance will be assessed a $695 fine, per year, or 2.5 percent of their income, whichever is higher.

So you think that's okay huh? And I know you are all blaming the Conservatives. lol

How about that executive order on the HIV Virus in December. That will set a Dangerous precedent
EXECUTIVE ORDER

ACCELERATING IMPROVEMENTS IN HIV PREVENTION AND CARE IN THE UNITED STATES THROUGH THE HIV CARE CONTINUUM INITIATIVE

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, and in order to further strengthen the capacity of the Federal Government to effectively respond to the ongoing domestic HIV epidemic, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Why do liberals hate low taxes?

As a hard working man, I want a tax system that's as light on me as it can possibly be. I want a judiciary that's going to protect my right to my money. Liberals, however, seem to believe just the opposite.

Why do liberals like high taxes and bureaucracy? I can't understand it; how do they think businesses can survive in such a hostile climate?

Why are some liberals so condescending toward Trump supporters? Do they really feel they are superior?

They can’t believe anyone voted for someone who has spouted so much hate speech, who has so few coherent ideas, and whose tendencies seem too patently autocratic. It’s not about liberals feeling “superior”: it’s about us being morally aghast that you guys got behind a demi-man who called Mexicans “rapists” in his campaign announcement, has degraded women, attacked anyone who dares criticize him, waged a systematic war on the very free press whose constant attention to him probably factored in his victory, attacked a Gold Star family and compared his “sacrifices” as real-estate billionaire to those of the young and dead Muslim-American soldier Humayun Khan, who besmirched John McCain’s status as a war hero — when was Trump ever in Vietnam?, who wants to create a registry for Muslims (much as Hitler did for Jews — bad precedent), who has the zealous support of the KKK, who cozied up to Putin (whose government interfered in the election — in the country whose security the president is supposed to ensure), who has been nominating plutocrats and alt-right loons to very lofty and powerful positions, who promises to deport millions and break up families, to “build a Wall and make Mexico pay for it” (good luck), who will lead us into trade wars and likely encourage fiscal policy that will lead to another huge financial meltdown, calls climate change a hoax propagated by China (and therefore embraces destructive industries and deregulation, and has no agenda to help mitigate the first anthropogenic extinction in our planet’s history), etc., etc., etc.We are disappointed to think we live in a country in which our fellow citizens think that these things are presidential, that they befit the leader of the free world. We are horrified to think that America elected its own image, and that image is this. The man’s affronts to common decency and infantile vulnerability to any provocation should have disqualified him in the minds of all decent and sane people. So what the fuck happened? I am no great fan of Hillary’s. I don’t think Washington is functioning properly. But electing this wholly selfish, power-hungry golem to our highest office was not a wise alternative. It’s not so much about superiority. The feeling is “This is America in the twenty-first century! How could you?”

Why do even 52% of liberals support Voter ID Laws?

While the necessity of voter ID laws to prevent fraud has not been proven, the fact of the disenfranchisement of American citizens has been.

Most people are not familiar with the statistics that show that millions of Americans have no IDs. Many of them don't even have birth certificates and therefore would have great difficulty obtaining the usual forms of ID.

I am somewhat annoyed by the degree of naivety that is continuously displayed concerning this issue. Republican strategists and Democratic strategists have studied the statistics regarding the millions of American citizens who don’t have photo IDs. Both sides have concluded that the affected groups of voters tend to vote Democratic.

That is why Republicans push for the voter ID laws and why Democrats oppose them.

Edit: Also, as noted above, that article does not refer to any percent of liberals. Why are you making things up?

Consider also that the number of Americans without IDs is a number larger than the margin of victory in two of the last three presidential elections.

Both Republican strategists and Democratic strategists know this, even if the general public does not.

Liberals, why is it if a cell is found on Mars it's life, but a human fetus is not life?

Great question. You won't get any answers that are not an attempt to steer away from this question. But then expecting consistency from the masses (whose default mode is definitely NOT rational thinking) is simply unrealistic.
