Why do the liberal media and libtards ignore the massacres that beheadings and murders MS-13 is comitting in our parks?
MS-13 has been non-stop beheading children on Long Island, who were simply walking home from school and going to their local parks. Their bodies are found at least once a week in our parks. They take machetes, and hack their victims to death only to finish it off by decapitating them. As for the females they rape them first and then decapitate them. Obama didn’t care and didn’t let the feds or ICE do it’s job. They took over our schools and now everybody is scared out of their minds. And you want lax border security? And Elizabeth Warren AND OTHERS want to get rid of ICE (like that nut job Ortiz from NY)? What is wrong with all of of you liberals. Disgusting people. Why do neo-cons insist on denying the CIA and FBI (as well as 12 other governmental agencies) reports finding that there are no WMD's in Iraq, NO Saddam-Ossama connection, and that the Taliban and Al-Qaeda fled to PAKISTAN from AFGHANISTAN (not Iraq) at the beginning of this war? Are Al-Qaeda factions assisting the insurgents in Iraq? OF COURSE! They'd be assisting ANY insurgency in ANY mid-eastern country WE attacked...this is hardly a reason to single out Iraq. NONE of us liberals want Al-Qaeda to win, and cannot understand your insistence on attacking Iraq as the solution. Every so-called "reason" Bush has given has been PROVED false, yet you still cling to the lies as if they were facts. It's clear we need to finish what we started there, but the TRUE reasons WHY we are in Iraq to begin with still remain VERY unclear. The same goes for the changes Bush has made in our Constitution that severly diminish our civil rights and freedoms, with the EXCUSE that he is fighting terrorism. Since when are the AMERICAN PEOPLE the terrorists that need to be spied on, or denied rights? This is THE biggest lie he's told yet, and world history PROVES that. He has raped the Constitution he SWORE to protect, broken over 100 of our laws in the way he waged this war, spies on OUR citizens, and mis-uses our military for his personal business (oil) gain. All Clinton did was cheat on his wife, which affects US not at all, yet you screwed him to the wall. Here Bush all but trashes our Constitution, ignores our laws, and abuses our military, and you defend him. It's clear your loyalty is to HIM, and not your country. Great question. I should preface this by saying that I would consider myself a moderate centrist; so I hope I adequately critique both sides of the aisle in my answer. That being said, there are a couple of reasons why some people on the right promote these phrases. The first reason (and I have seen this said a lot on Quora) is that often times right-wingers will point out “liberal arrogance” as a way to justify their own actions. It is evident that there are liberals (especially in major urban areas) that seem to think conservatives are “inferior” to “modern” progressive thought. Yet (quite ironically), in response to some liberals who have this vivacious, anti-conservative arrogance, some on the right feel that they are the ones that are “superior” to liberals. This is why you will see phrases like “liberal tears” and “libtards” propagated by those on the right. The second reason these phrases are spread is similar to the first. There is an urge among those in the alt-right that gives them the need to take action against elitism from both sides of the aisle. As a side note, I think that because many in the alt-right feel like they are being controlled by “Washington elites” Trump was the perfect candidate for them. At any rate, an excellent example of a person with the rebellious attitude associated with the alt-right is Milo Yiannopoulos. He feels like he is fighting back against the elitism of American politicians, he once said “The alt-right believes that Western culture is currently imperiled and that the elites on both sides of the political divide are not doing enough to protect it. In that analysis, I think they're right.” Republicans should stand up against the alt-right because they are obviously immature. Likewise, liberals should stand up against “alt-leftism.” Hopefully, people will realize that the extremes of political immaturity on both sides of the aisle will always be present but that it should not divide us. Just because someone considers them self a liberal or a conservative does not mean that anyone should antagonize that person. Instead, we should embrace each and every person in America with an open mind. At the end of the day immaturity in politics should never divide our conjunct American spirit for each other.

Why does a virus like Ebola evolve to be so deadly? Isn't that against its own survival?
Hello there,I'm no virologist, let me state that first. I do have graduate level biology research background, but parasitology is not one of my specialty. Somebody else probably know more about this topic than I do.With that said, Ebola virus gets away with being deadly to human because of at least one factor: human aren't their only host.Ebola virus can infect both human and bats. In fruit bats, the virus spreads without much adverse effect on the host. It makes the disease very difficult to identify in animal hosts. In order to get rid of the disease once and for all, we must 1. capture every single potential animal hosts and test them or 2. kill all potential animal hosts. Neither is easy to accomplish.So what happens is that when we control the ebola outbreak in human, the virus is still lurking around in a bat somewhere. Then some poor guy gets exposed to the bat's bodily fluid and ebola virus now infects human kind yet again. That's how ebola outbreak keeps popping back up again and again for decades.

1) I have a theory that Trump won the election essentially because the word “racist” finally became a legit slur for white Americans. We grew up hearing stupid words like “cracker”, “honky”, etc. but those never had any bite. In the age of the internet, a more authentic and consolidated narrative of America’s racial history has been publicized and now being called a racist is something that a white person is acutely uncomfortable with. Some whites react by being extra nice to non-white people and being extra quick to defend non-white causes. Others react by doubling down on denial and pretending they “don’t see color”.2) Many respondents state here that only a small minority of repubs use this kind of language. I do not agree- contempt for liberal thought is the single most unifying factor I can see among today’s republicans. You have people sharing few actual values- religious conservatives, libertarians, nationalists, working poor, and many other groups- all voting the same way. The unifying factor is this deep, frothing contempt for all things liberal. Liberals are brainless infantile snowflakes, liberals are turning the country queer/brown/welfare state, Obama/Hillary is are leftist radicals (huh?), and so on. Even well-written moderate conservative rags like Weekly Standard don’t seem to advance a cohesive perspective beyond anti-liberalism. I see liberal identity as (or at least tries to be) anti-racist, anti-misogynist, etc. The republican identity today is simply anti-liberal and relies on these garish distortions of libs as some kind of social virus.3) Some of the conservative-leaning respondents mention being called all kinds of ridiculous and offensive names by dems/libs. All I can say is if you are talking about things being said online, you need to specify that. I hang out in some pretty liberal/progressive haunts (pussy hats all around) I have never been spoken to like that for not marching in step with liberal dogma. You just don’t talk like that to people in your community, even if you seriously disagree with their views. Even telling someone flat-out that they are dead wrong for all the worst reasons is different than dehumanizing them with labels taken from our diseased political discourse.
Why do people keep argueing about global warming?
Listen young ones, if you really want to stop or slow down global warming, Look to the government to make the big money making companies, stop polluting, period. Plus we can do our part too, but, we are really governed by the big companies such as Big Pharma, and only a few more. Oh , oil companies. Sound familiar? Have you noticed the company that produces windex, etc, can't remember their name now, made a commercial on TV stating they are using the poop of cows which produces a gas called methane, i think, to run their machines. They are doing that to either try to make other big companies do the same or trying to save their a--! I am very frustrated at our government and the rich who say there is no global warming. Don't they care about their own children, themselves and our future children. I just don't get it. And it's all because of the almighty DOLLAR!

An actual snowflake is a delicate thing. Conservatives assume that liberals are weak and delicate because they want to care about everyone, want inclusion and are usually not “guns at all costs” supporters. Because we don’t necessarily want the social Darwinism that conservatives think brings everyone up, we must be lazy and entitled.Conservatives love this term. It makes them feel tough. They see themselves as the strong Americans that are fighting for the Constitution against evil socialists that just want to give things away. Everyone should be clawing their way to the top of the social ladder. Can’t feed your kids? Tough. Go get a better job or add more to your work load. Can’t get health insurance? Tough. Go get a job that provides it. A kid was taken from his parents at the border? Tough. They choose to break the law by coming here.I actually love the term. When called it, I know there is no substantive argument coming from that person. It also shows the hypocrisy of a group that boycotts everything at the smallest slight.
