Why Do Middle-aged Men Tend To Snore So Obnoxiously

Why don't I feel refreshed after sleep?

Whether you feel refreshed or not after sleeping has a lot to do with the quality of your sleep. There are four stages of sleep, and each has its important roleThe stages areThe first stage: your muscles relax, body temperature and heart rate drops.Light sleep: you’re going between the conscious and unconscious stateDeeper sleep (slow wave sleep) your body becomes less sensitive, harder to wake you up.REM sleep, muscles completely relax, dreams! The more ‘deeper sleep’ you get, the more refreshed you’ll feel the next day. However, if you just went back and forth between light sleep and deeper sleep and REM in short periods of time, you won’t feel rested. You need a good percentage (hours) of deeper sleep in order to be relaxed. Why aren’t you getting enough deeper sleep?Anxiety and stress. Anything that worries you in your daily life will affect your sleeping cycles. Not eating enough/eating too much.Eating spicy food or very acidic. This may cause discomfort in your stomach thus making it harder for your body to completely relax in order to get to the third stage. Not knowing how many hours your body needs. Going from one stage to the other needs time. Each person has different timing.Noises… This one’s worse especially if you live in a city. Car noises and honks can disturb your sleep cycle even leading for you to wake up.Drinking too much liquid.

Why do some people make loud smacking noises while chewing food?

I really couldn’t tell you but oh my God is it annoying! I can not stand it. I can’t notice it at school because of the loud setting, but when I’m at home sitting across from my mother who is a pretty loud chewer, I have to dig my nails into my leg.The sound is like nails on a chalkboard for me. Loud chewing, along with actual nails on a chalkboard, and snoring, are probably the most insufferable sounds for me.

Why do people make noises during sex?

Oh, oh, yeah! Moaning is a way for people to communicate or express excitement and pleasure. Some women and men moan as a signal to let their partner know that the sensation feels good. Others utter sounds and let their bodies move freely as they "lose control" and allow themselves to be part of the sexual and satisfying experience.Movies, television, and music present us with idealized sex scenes or lyrics of people moaning and panting at the height of passion. In reality, while some people are vocal and may moan and groan until the sun comes up, some folks may muffle any sounds with a pillow, while others do not make a single peep. Some express themselves by twitching or moving their bodies rhythmically as a response to sexual pleasure.Moaning doesn't only happen during sex. Some people make small sounds while kissing, giving or receiving a massage, or snuggling. Others don't have to be sexually excited to make a sound. While humans don't typically purr, some people may make a soft moaning sound when their hair or head is stroked — just like a cat might if it were being petted. There are also times when someone might be eating something really fantastic and a light "mmm..." escapes his or her lips. This sound can be used to express the way s/he's feeling as s/he is savoring the taste.

How do teachers deal with sleeping students?

I find some of these suggestions to be disgusting! Have *you* ever had the whole class laugh at you when the teacher pulled the desk from under you or dropped a heavy book next to your head?Instead of humiliating the student, I’ll be gently rapping, rapping on the desk next to his/her head, getting slightly louder every few raps. Sometimes, a light shoulder shake. My God, be humane. These are human beings who are still growing and developing their adult behaviors. A teacher’s job is to TEACH, not only subject matter but acceptable behavior.I know how disoriented I feel when I’m awakened from a moderately deep sleep. Or alarmed. My heart races, and I have to calm down and make sense of things.Very few students sleep in class because they’re telling the teacher to fuck off. They fall asleep because they’re hungry, or because something happened at home last night that prevented a good night’s sleep. Yes, that could be a major WoW confab, but it could be a sick parent or sibling or child, fighting, car crash outside the house, NO house, personal illness, personal mental illness treated or untreated, new meds, wrong meds, NO meds….Think of all the reasons that TEACHERS (almost) fall asleep during Professional Development. The room is too hot; the room is too cold; the room is too brightly lit; the room is too dark; the topic is truly boring; hunger; something happened at home last night that prevented a good night’s sleep. See EVERY reason listed above. To the teachers who think it’s a good thing to roughly shove a sleeping student, or drop a book, or pull the desk away…How would YOU feel if someone did this to you at a Professional Development session? “That’s not how we treat adults,” you say? Then why is it the way you treat kids?

How much do Siamese cats meow and when? I am looking for a Siamese kitten however I don't want one if they're going to howl for hours and hours on end or do it in the middle of the night.

I have two Siamese a brother 22 pounds and his sister 15 pounds, they chat to me whenever I am around , its not howls its little chitters and soft bleats. they have at least two voices , the soft one they use to tell you how pleased with things going the way they are, and the other much louder to raise the alarm that something is not right. it resembles a crying baby and needs similar immediate attention , I simply ask “why are you shouting?’ and the soft conciliatory voice immediately takes over.I have found Siamese in general will try to mimic your speech patterns they can argue convincingly ,shout or whisper in your ear. They can and do sometimes sound like bad Chinese opera but it means they are looking for some one , cold or just lonely and needing a hug. At night my biggest problem is the loud snores Moggs ,the male makes. I have never been disturbed by night howls ,they all pile into the bed so a battle for prime bed space is commonGet your kitten. Females are more loving in general ,Males are more adventurous and can be leash trained for walks. Some cats like water and will happily swim with you or at least paddle if the gulls aren't too obnoxious. , which ever you get they will impress you for the rest of your life. Siamese cats are quite conservative in nature, ,needing a feeding schedule and a fairly structured life.I was given my first Siamese when I was 8 now I am in my late 60s and my present pair will make 9 cats over the years, always at least two at a time for company for each other, ideally staggered in age so the line is interconnected and cat lore is exchanged. these two will be my last. Over the years my cats have given me more joy and companionship than any dog could and Ive had both . Siamese are special , I hope you will find out just how special by getting a little fuzzy buddy.

Girl Puggle or Boy Puggle?

Just out of curiosity, I wonder if DeeDawg has actually OWNED a puggle because from what she wrote it seems she has no idea what she is talking about.

Puggles are easiest dog I have ever trained. They can be stubborn like a pug or follow their nose and howl like a beagle, BUT they also loooove food so positive reinforcement with treats actually makes them a quick learn for training on any command. Case in point, after adopting mine he was housebroken in about a day. They can have their head to the ground sniffing while we're walking but I'm having trouble understand why a dog sniffing something is considered a "bad trait" unless you need him to prance around the floor of the Westminster Dog Show. Mostly, all puggles (male or female) have the playful energy of a beagle coupled with the snuggly snoring of a pug which gives them a cute personality to match their cute little face, cute stout body, and cute curly tail.

What I am most shocked at though is that DeeDawg would support buying any dog over saving a dog from euthanasia at the pound. That is absolutely tragic. She must be a breeder who is worried about her bottom line, because people are becoming wise to the fact that they can adopt and save the life of amazing mixed breed dogs, all at much lower cost.
