Why Do My Music Files On My Sd Card Keep Changing.

What is the best app to play music from an SD card on an Android phone?

I have the "Play Music" app that came installed on my Galaxy S5, but I can't figure out how to use it to play the music that I've stored onto my SD card.

I have another app called "Music" that also came installed, but I can't find my SD music files there either.

I'm looking for an app that allows me to create my own playlists from MY music that's on my SD card. It would also be nice to have the options for streaming music.

Do you have any insight into the apps called "Play Music" and "Music" that come pre-installed on the Galaxy S5? Also, do you have recommendations for a better app for playing your own music from an SD card?

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Is it OK to keep an SD card in my laptop?

No your computer is okay if you keep it in. It doesn't really matter as long as there are no harmful files on your card. But I do warn that if there is a little bit poking out the side, be careful because all it takes is a careless drop to get jammed in, or pressure to break either the card or the slot. But all in all, your fine.

1) Is your media formated in NTSF? If not this could be a problem
2) The only limit that I am aware of other than the filesize restriction for NTFS of 4 GB.
3) The Directory name+ subdirectory(s) name+ the file name cannot exceed 256 characters (i.e. C:\directory\sub directory\........\filename.exe

Where does the save files for "my boy free" are located?

If you want to play gba on your computer, use http://sourceforge.net/projects/vbam/

it also uses .sav files for game saves, and are transferable to any other emulators which also use .sav format. (which most do).

Know that doing save states (file > save or menu > save state on android), that these are NOT transferable to other emulators. (well the exception is gba.emu since its actually made from vba-m it can share save states lol)
and if you were to pay for a gba emulator, get gba.emu

anyway .sav files for myboyfree are located at the directory the ram is located at. Which i have no clue where you put it.
I keep mine in /roms/gba folder on my external SD card.
