Why Do My Toes And Fingers Sometimes Feel Achy/itchy

Why does my foot/ankle itch and ache?

no it's not a blood clot trust me..

It could be a fungus... they can be invisible and you dont have to be some dirty person to get it because it's contagious. You can buy stuff at the store for this (power and stuff)

It could also be dryness (try some lotion).

It could also be too much moisture (which is a breeding ground for itching microscopic stuff).

It could also be an allergy to something (maybe a detergent).

If i were you, i'd throw my shoes in the wash with a NEW detergent, put lotion on my feet every night, put the gold bond powder in my shoes and on my feet every morning, and try not to itch it as much as it hurts (i know its hard). and see what happens.

If it doesnt clear up, i guess that means' doctors appointment!

What are the superstitions about itchy feet?

How I love superstitions, they are a real entertainment. Like the cat crossing your way, someone sneezing along, finding three girls on the way, flinching of the eyes etc. If nothing, they do add some suspense, some anxiety and some curiosity to life. But, hold on. This is something I am myself superstitious about and most often than not it has proven correct.I have personally experienced that an itchy feet generally sends me off on a tour or travel. The results are a mix of success and failure. But travel is definitely there. As per general belief, itching of the right planter of foot is positive and the other is negative. However, it becomes vice-versa in case of ladies. So you may calculate accordingly. One most important thing which was told by Swami Charananandam and I tried and tested the same finding it correct. So here is passing it over to you without any charges :On a bright fortnight (shukla paksh) and on the first three days, your left nostril should flow on sunrise for one hour and then the right for the next hour. Alternating like this for the rest of the day. It is contrary during the weaning moon. If you can find it happening so, any travel you undertake you must take out the corresponding foot out of the house as of the nostril flowing at that time. In this manner, you will find the travel turning into a favorable one and success be guaranteed (one superstition on top of another : lol).Mind you, it is a working science of the body and not another superstition.Best of journey !

What is the superstition behind an itchy ring finger?

When I was young i grew up in the north-west of England. Known for it’s superstition, I was told many old wives tales and little ‘snippets’ for life. This one in particular was either,“Oooohhh you’re gonna be gettin’ married!”Or“The love of your life is nearby.”But as I didn’t get married untill I had moved away for many years. To a person who had never been up north, I personally don’t put too much stock in that one, lol.

Why do my palms and feet start to itch after having alcohol?

Itching can be pruritus kind of thing. This happens in liver diseases like cirrhosis. If you are consuming too much of alcohol,it can cause damage to liver, and  manifest as itching. However, cirrhosis has other manifestations like abdominal distension, jaundice, pruitus, etc. You need to lesen your alcohol and get your LIVER FUNCTION TEST done. This is really important.I have mentioned liver because you are alcoholic. It may even have other reasons like diabetes. So first get your test done.

Why does my arm sting/go numb after shooting meth?

If you're getting a blood return and you're a 100% sure you're in the vein it could be some kind of cutting agent they're using to cut it with. I've had some burn for about the first 3″ to 4″ of the shot then just stop burning. I just assumed it was probably acetone though. The numbness doesn't make sense if you're actually in the vein though. I'm no medical expert either, but it does sound like nerve damage. I would just watch for any red lines that appear around the injection site, you could develop an abscess or even worse a blood infection. I've been able to treat abscesses at home, however, blood infections are nothing to take lightly they can be fatal very quickly. The red line is an indicator that infection is setting up and if travels to the heart it can be deadly. I have some pictures of ones I caught in early stages and treated them myself. It's not a pleasant experience. I would try a different place until the current one heals up. That's the beginning to end phase of a typical abcess that was caused by “Black Tar Herion” which is more common with H. Ice tends to crystalize then slowly dissolve. I had a place where I missed with a shot of ice that if I pressed on it I could hear a rapid heartbeat inside my head. A warm towel laid across the injection site will sometimes make it heal quicker.

Why do my fingertips hurt after I cut my nails?

Please remember, I am not a doctor and only write from personal experience. First of all, I don’t think your fingers look gross at all. It is obvious you don’t bite your nails or pick at your cuticles. There’s a curious half circle shadow on your ring fingernail. It looks like an acrylic nail that is growing out.I think there are two scenarios:You have, or have had, acrylic nails and they are growing outYou cut your nails short after letting them grow out.Your fingernails protect the ends of your fingers which are very sensitive. Just try pressing the ends of your fingers with a fingernail to see how sensitive they are. Acrylic nails do a better job of this protection because they are so hard. Natural nails also give this needed protection. Many people have soft nails that easily bend, break or peel so they don’t do as good a job of protection. My nails are like that and just last night the fingernail on my little finger peeled off all the way down to the base. My finger is very sore today. Here’s the bottom line: When you grow your nails out over the ends of your fingers and wear them like that, the ends of the fingers are well protected and become more sensitive. Then, when you cut them short (like your ring finger in the picture), the exposed ends hurt. If you cut them very short, it is possible to cut the place where the fingernail is connected to the finger. That will cause it to bleed and hurt a lot worse. This is assuming you do not use something to dig under your nails to clean them which can also make them bleed. If your nails are dirty, use a soft nail brush and mild soap to clean underneath.Solution: Never cut your fingernails. Hide your nail clippers. Instead, use an emory board (nail file) - never metal, they are too harsh - to carefully file your nails until they are just past the tips of your fingers. There are nail files designed for acrylic nails - never use them on your natural nails, they are too gritty. Be sure the package says for “natural nails.”Work on getting in the habit of always filing them in one direction - not back and forth like a saw - especially if you have weak nails. When I file the nails on my left hand, I file them from the left to the right once, pick up the file, and repeat. When I’m filing on my right hand, I file from right to left. Do whatever is comfortable, just avoid “sawing” them. And remember to keep them long enough to cover the end of your finger a little.I hope this helps.
