Why Do People Become Sick Why People Have Diseases. Is Human Is The Cause For It

Why does people get sick and old and die?

We’re not made of stainless steel, or anything else that doesn’t wear out or corrode. Human cells have a life span, probably determined by genes. The aging process is one of maturing up until a certain point, then stability, then decline - sometimes gradual, sometimes swift. Life has a five fold pattern: Birth, Growth, Maturity, Decay, Death. All life feeds other life. This is as true for us as it is for grasses and elk. Sickness is due to many things, but the truth is that except for minor illnesses, some people live in good health right up until the last day.

Why do people seem to get sick more often than animals?

(1) Because most people are much better at recognizing disease in humans.  Ask a vet how many sick animals they see walking down the street, and compare to how many you recognized.(2) Because wild animals have strong selection pressure to hide symptoms of disease as long as possible, since predators preferentially target the sick.(3) Because animals are much more likely to die early on in a disease, whether due to the disease itself or to a predator; so the duration of a disease, and the total number of diseases an individual can experience, are much greater for humans.

Why don't carnivores get sick from eating raw meat like humans?

Because humans are herbivores biologically and have *adapted* (not evolved) a meat eating diet. We do quite well without flesh and secretions, and yes we die from raw meat (bacteria) and cooked meat (cancer, diabetes, hypertension, heart disease) alike. When humans eat flesh, we don't actually tear it with our cuspids. Instead, we soften meat with cooking and then pre-tear it with utensils before grinding it down with our flattened molars, which are particularly well-suited for chewing vegetation.Using dentition as an indicator of diet is a hard case to make. Domestic cats and dogs have similar dental structures, but cats are obligate carnivores and dogs can be vegan. Gorillas are herbivores with long canines. Our own teeth are closer to those of herbivores than carnivores, but we are capable of digesting the flesh and secretions of other species, which means that we can choose to eat plants, animals or both. So it's clear that a species' teeth are not a reliable determinant of its dietary requirements.Non-human animals do many things we find unethical; they steal, rape, eat their children and engage in other activities that do not and should not provide a logical foundation for our behavior. This means it is illogical to claim that we should eat the same diet certain non-human animals do. So it is probably not useful to consider the behavior of stoats, alligators and other predators when making decisions about our own behavior. The argument for modeling human behavior on non-human behavior is unclear to begin with, but if we're going to make it, why shouldn't we choose to follow the example of the hippopotamus, ox or giraffe rather than the shark, cheetah or bear? Why not compare ourselves to crows and eat raw carrion by the side of the road? Why not compare ourselves to dung beetles and eat little balls of dried feces? Because it turns out humans really are a special case in the animal kingdom. that's why. So are vultures, goats, elephants and crickets. Each is an individual species with individual needs and capacities for choice. Of course, humans are capable of higher reasoning, but this should only make us more sensitive to the morality of our behavior toward non-human animals. And while we are capable of killing and eating them, it isn't necessary for our survival. We aren't lions, and we know that we cannot justify taking the life of a sentient being for no better reason than our personal dietary preferences.Vegan Starter Kit

Do Dogs carry communicable diseases ?

Diseases from Dogs

Important Tip!

Many germs can be passed to people from dog bites. Learn more about how to prevent dog bites from the Humane Society of the United States.

Although dogs can pass germs to people, you are not likely to get sick from touching or owning dogs. To best protect yourself from getting sick, thoroughly wash your hands with running water and soap after contact with dogs, dog saliva, or dog feces (stool).

Dogs can carry a variety of germs that can make people sick. Some of these germs are common and some are rare. For example, puppies may pass the bacterium Campylobacter in their feces (stool). This germ can cause diarrhea in people. Puppies and some adult dogs often carry a variety of parasites that can cause rashes or illness in people. Less often, dogs in urban or rural areas can carry the bacterium Leptospira (lep-TO-spy-ruh). This germ causes the disease leptospirosis (lep-to-spi-roh-sis) in people and animals. Dogs can also carry rabies, a deadly viral disease. Rabies from dogs is rare in the United States.

Some people are more likely than others to get diseases from dogs. A person's age and health status may affect his or her immune system, increasing the chances of getting sick. People who are more likely to get diseases from dogs include infants, children younger than 5 years old, organ transplant patients, people with HIV/AIDS, and people being treated for cancer. Special advice is available for people who are at greater risk than others of getting diseases from animals.

Many groups support the health benefits of pets. These groups provide information on how pets can help people be healthy.

Disease from sex with dead bodies?

LET ME EXPLAIN FIRST. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. I was speaking with my cousin earlier today and she brought up something she saw on some health show. The situation basically was this:
Some girl started to have her (lady parts) smell really bad so she went to the doctor to see what was wrong, and the doctor said that the only was that disease could have been contracted was from necrophilia (sex with corpses) (EW I KNOW). Anyway, she didn't know why or how she could have gotten this disease,
**this part may seem like a joke but it's 100% real*
her boyfriend worked in a funeral parlor. Yeah, disgusting i know.

The point of this is that i want to know what disease she could have contracted. Any answers?

What diseases can cockroaches spread and how?

Jacob, good question. Cockroaches don't bite humans but they do carry (drag along) 3 major types of disease-producing bacteria = streptococci, staphylococci, and salmonella. In addition a number of people do have severe allergic reactions to cockroach feces. Avoid roaches - of any kind! :-))
