Why Do People Deny Religious Persecution In Islamic Countries

Why are secular countries more peaceful than religious countries?

Fewer reasons to hate your neighbors.

If Islam is a peaceful religion, then why do countries with a strong Islamic infuences persecute christians &.

The Muslim holy month of Ramadan has begun. In addition to fasting from dawn to dusk, Muslims are obligated to read the entire Koran during this month. Non-Muslims should be aware of some of the things their Muslim neighbors will be reading in the Koran:

The unbelievers among the people of the book and the pagans shall burn forever in the fire of Hell. They are the vilest of all creatures. (98.6).

Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve. (8.55)

The unbelievers are your inveterate enemy. (4:101)

Mohammed is God's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another. (48:29).

It is unlawful for a believer to kill another believer, accidents excepted. (4:92)

Believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends. (5:51)

Make war on them [non-Muslims] until idolatry shall cease and God's religion shall reign supreme. (8:40)

Fight against them until idolatry is no more and God's religion reigns supreme. (2:193)

The true believers fight for the cause of God, but the infidels fight for the devil. Fight then against the friends of Satan. (4:76)

We will put terror into the hearts of the unbelievers. (3:150)

I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers. (8:12)

When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them. (9:5)

Fight against such of those to whom the Scriptures were given as believe in neither God nor the Last Day, ... until they pay tribute out of hand and are utterly subdued. (9:29)

Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal rigorously with them. (9:73 and 66:9)

Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you. Deal firmly with them. (9:123)

When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads. (47:4)

These and other passages in the Koran, which are considered Allah's literal word, will be important to non-Muslims until the imams preach to their congregations that these passages are no longer valid. So far, it has not happened.

Do Christians still get persecuted in Islamic countries even today?

Do Christians still get persecuted in Islamic countries even today?Yes, it happens every day. The current worst offender in imprisoning, exiling, or killing Christians for their faith is North Korea. China still stifles religion to a degree as well. But many other persecutors are Islamic nations. An organization called Open Doors keeps an independently audited watch list of the worst offending nations who persecute Christians for their faith. Open Doors has been monitoring persecution of Christians worldwide since the 1970s.World Watch List, Where Christian Persecution Is Worst

And even out here we have every group verbally attacking Christians 24/7 but I don't think it's in ANY way compared to what Christians are facing in the real world. We have one atheist complain about Christians. FYI, I don't think that atheists were fed to lions, used as sacrifices, burnt, chopped, beaten to death, stripped naked and beaten in public, framed just to be killed later etc etc.

Why does Islam teach to occupy others countries and persecute that? Don't give answer in round about way.

The Holy Quran has verified the fact that Islam is a religion of peace and tranquility by saying: “Oh ye who believe! Enter into peace and tranquility altogether and follow not the footsteps of Satan; for he is to you a clear enemy”.But one must note that some choose oppression, tyranny, injustice and corruption as a way of life. It is very clear that a complete religion such as Islam cannot stay silent regarding such situations and not have any instructions regarding these people. (1)In addition, one of the necessities of human beings' lives is defending from oppression. Self-defense is an instinctive phenomenon which is noticed in Islam. Islam has a complete program of defense. In the worldly schools, it happens repeatedly people hurt others in accuse of defending themselves. For instance the U.S has launched many wars and killed millions of people in accuse of protecting itself but Islam prohibits Muslims even cut a tree at the war.The true religion of Islam is not after war, violence and conquest, and instead has introduced Jihad as a humane way of self-defense, for spreading world peace and security, under the shadow of Islamic government and for the denial of oppressive rule and fighting against tyranny and injustice.Anyway, Islam does not teach to occupy other countries. On the contrary, it is the Western policy that authorizes occupying other countries as it happened in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, etc. In addition, when we state Islam is political, it does not mean countries are authorized to invade other countries but it means, Islam has a great plan to establish the government based on religion.(1) Is Islam a religion of peace and brotherhood, or a religion of war and violence?

What countries in the Middle East have religious freedom?

Besides Israel, what country in the middle east can you openly declare yourself as a Christian, Jew, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, etc., and not be murdered for it?

I do not mean for this to be offensive, I am simply curious.

Why don't persecuted Christians get as much attention as persecuted Muslims?

I was persecuted for being Christian back in the 1950’s, right here in the US. The bus that carried us Christian students to our Christian school (it was the only Christian elementary school in the county) was regularly stoned by the PC public school kids. Thugs and bullies would line up at the entrance to the school to threaten/intimidate the good Christian children, staff and families as they entered the school. ( And no, the PC sheriff/police chief took no action to protect these good Christian people.) The teachers from the school were routinely harassed and assaulted by the town’s people. They were also denied service by the town’s merchants—the teachers had to resort to having friends do their shopping for them. The base commander of the nearby Air Force Base was obliged to provide armed guards for the Christian children going to the Christian school, and told the local PC sheriff that he’d authorize force if need be. The Christian children attending the local PC public schools were denied the right to pray and use their Bibles. Right here in the US, even “back then” in the 1950’s. The place—Selma, Alabama, the time— mid 1950’s. The Christians being persecuted-the Catholics. The people doing the persecuting—the Protestants (with the encouragement of their clergy). I find it interesting that the people screaming the loudest about being persecuted now were the very same ones that were throwing stones at me while I rode a school bus—I was 6 at the time.

Why is it more vocal when Christians persecute Muslims but Christian persecution in Muslim countries are being ignored?

The media is largely but not completely controlled by the left. The left does not want to show Muslims as aggressors, so they don’t. Simple as that. The left will gloss over, minimize and deflect any Muslim led persecution of non Muslims.I do think people have a point that we need to care about OUR societies here in the west. It is true that there is more bias against Muslims here in the west and that is more of a concern. We can’t really do much about persecution of non Muslims in places like the Sudan or Syria. If it was confined to that then I would agree the double standard would not be much of a problem. However, we do see where more left leaning western leaders literally turn their back on religious minorities suffering in Islamic lands - ONLY for ideological reasons of not showing Muslims as aggressors. That can’t be easily forgiven IMO.Here are just a few examples and I am sure if other posters wanted to contribute we would have a very long list. Here is one from this week in the UK -This woman has suffered tremendous persecution. Other people in her situation have been killed. The UK denied her asylum because they are afraid admitting her would make Muslims in the UK feel bad or something. Pakistani Christian Family Denied UK Asylum - 'It May Offend Muslims'I can’t and should not speak for Muslims in the UK but if I were a British Muslim I would be deeply offended that my government thinks so little of my fellow British Muslims.Obama policies disfavored - as in excluded religious minorities who were being persecuted by ISIS - this was not just Christians but other religious minorities such as Yazidis, Druze etc. Obama Throws Christian Refugees to LionsThis article goes into more detail - The United States Bars Christian, Not Muslim, Refugees From SyriaI don’t see Obama as evil but he did have this ideological bend to see Muslims as victims and turn a blind eye to any Muslim led persecution and his administrations policies are very reflective of that.

Well in-fact there are many countries which have put restriction on Islam as a religion and its practices here is the listAsiaBhutanBhutan , also known as most peaceful country in Asia , officially does not recognise Islam as a religion. It only recognise Buddhism and Hinduism.MyanmarOfficially Myanmar allows to practice any religion , but it emphasise mainly on Theravada Buddhism. Islam face tough persecution from the Government.ChinaThe constitution of China protects what it calls "normal religious activity", defined in practice as activities that take place within government-sanctioned religious organisations and registered places of worship. Muslims in Xinjiang province are banned to keep long beard and covering face(for women) , Ramdan is a banned religious act and Muslims worshiping independently have been detained and charged with conducting "illegal religious activities".Recently China also banned certain Islamic name for the new born child. Is there any Muslim majority country where the Bahai religion is not persecuted?

Baha'is are not persecuted in any Muslim majority country, not even in Iran.Presently in Iran, there are 90 Baha'is serving their sentences in prisons. Why? Baha'is claim, only due to their religion. This is not true and a pure Baha'i propaganda against Iran.According to Baha'is there are over 300,000 Baha'is in Iran and only 90 are in prisons, so it is hard to believe that only 90 individuals are 'persecuted' due to their faith and other are not bothered. My Iranian Muslim friends state that Baha'is are not Persecuted but 'Prosecuted' for their religious activities. In Baha'i Faith all the activities (mainly Four Core Activities) are aimed only at converting people and introducing their 'Faith' to others.Baha'i Faith in Iran is not seen positively. It is considered a cult and Baha'is are considered as Covenant Breakers. All attempts of converting people are highly unwelcome and can be considered a crime. Iran is an Islamic State just like Israel is a Jewish State. In religious countries these activities are not tolerated.Baha'is are not allowed to teach their religion to any Iranian be it Muslim, Christian, Jew or Zoroastrian. So, Baha'is are free to practice their religion among themselves but they can be 'Prosecuted' if they try to teach their religion to others, then be it Iran, Egypt, Uzbekistan or non-Muslim countries like India.
