Why Do People Fight Over Stupid Stuff

Why do people argue on stupid things?

Different reasons, I think. Some actually have emotionally
charged ideas about what is the case or what isn't. Others
are simply argumentative and view argument as a competition.
In either case, it seems that just about any subject, real
or imagined, is fair food for the debating society.

Do your parents fight over stupid things?

yes all the time one year my dad threw our christmass turkey out the door

My parents fight ALL THE TIME over the stupidest stuff!! PLEASE READ! I need help!?

well try talkin to them and get them to stop fighting and if that doesnt work then gurl iono wut will but if u start crin and then tell them ure true feeling about how u feel about it tgen mayb they will stop so frum my heart goodluck

My roommate likes to pick fights over stupid stuff, what's her problem?

Sometimes it can be the little stuff that gets to a person - cause she might think that she's going to have to clean up after you all the time and fight for her parking spot all the time because this behaviour is showing you are not taking her into consideration. So this is a good lesson for you in being a good roommate - this stuff was valid. She didn't know the particulars of why you did what you did only the end result. She could have been super tired and just wanted to park without any hassle. It sounds like this is a new room mate relationship - maybe she's had ones that she's had to babysit before and your behaviour - though you meant no harm - triggered the memories of the previous roomie who she had to clean up after all the time and borrowed stuff etc

So now you know what to be aware of and if she is a good room mate then she will give you the same consideration. For example - say she had a habit of slamming the door - which she didn't notice - then you point it out and she stops so it stops annoying you because she is aware and is closing it softly. So hopefully she is not a picker and you are not an inconsiderate slob it is just a misunderstanding and move forward to not have issues and drama.

Someone Wants to Fight Me Over Something Stupid I did?

Okay, so maybe two years ago (i was in like the 6th grade?) This kid i was freinds with all of a sudden wanted to fight me, and i'd never been in one before so i was afraid, and i didnt and left, so my friend and i at the time thought it would be funny to call the cops on him, so we did, and it was a fun time watching him at the time. It was the stupidest thing i've done and now i wish i just got my *** kicked i regret it a lot. Now since im a year older then him his friend wants to fight me, not him, but his friend who saw it. So he comes to my school next year. I do Brazillian JiuJitsu and Judo, but he is bigger then me. I'd rather avoid fighting if i can, never been much of a fighter, i do not want to tell a teacher, i want for him to shut up but without fighting him, doubt that will happen, i might just fight him, problem is i haven't been in a real fight in a year or so, and i dont like fighting. Any advice? Much appreciated.

Me and my boyfriend constantly fight over stupid things.. how can we stop?

me and my boyfriend been together for 2 years and we really do love each other but we constantly fight over stupid stuff that don't matter and we always have to be right about everything. and we always try to talk it out and we say well change but we just keep doing it /: is there anyway we could ever resolve this? please help ... best answer 10 points .<3 no rude comments and we are both older then 18 so were not children.

Constantly fighting over stupid things - how do we stop?

My partner and I get into HUGE arguments over the silliest things.. usually the whole thing stems from one stupid comment (which the other sees as an attack although it was not intended as one) or from a small disagreement that gets completely out of hand. Once we get going, we both yell at each other, constantly try to talk over each other without actually listening to anything the other person is saying, lie/ exaggerate, and even say things we don't mean just to hurt the other person. I usually try to stop the fight too early (ie. before anything has been resolved) whereas my partner will try to keep the fight going too long (ie. make 'add on' comments after I feel the fight has been resolved, which just starts us arguing again).

We know what the problems are (ie. poor communication, both of us more focused on 'winning' the argument than resolving the argument, etc) but even though we agree we need to do things differently we can't find a 'respectful arguing method' that works for us and always end up slipping into the same old toxic pattern.

I know we're not the only couple to have big fights over small issues, but I also know that most couples don't have these sorts of fights ALL of the time. I need to know how YOU deal with things when you feel a 'stupid' fight coming on between your partner and yourself. We'd obviously like to both have a chance to explain our point of view, but we need to do it calmly and respectfully without getting angry at each other - it's easier said than done!

Why Do People Underestimate me? I'm VERY Strong.!?

Okay so im a junior in highschool and all 3 years ive had alot of friends but sometimes i let people get by with stuff.
i wont fight over stupid things. but freshman year the school found out i did this modeling stuff, and ever since then they've thought "ooh pretty boy, he cant fight"

but actually, ive been in a fight before, back in 7th grade, i really dont have any techniques, but this guy made me mad and for some reason i get REALLY strong when i get mad, so i just beat the hell out of him. he didn't get any hits on me.
and i have a very strong hit.

a few months ago, this dude tried to show off infront of this chick, i was trying to be the nice guy so i didn't say anything bac really when he was running his mouth.
he said he was gonna hit me, i didnt say anything i was just waiting.

he didnt do anything though.
but he still keeps running his mouth sometimes, and im about ready to come up to him and just knock the hell out of him.

people think i cant fight, but the people who seen me fight back in 7th grade tell the ones who think i cant fight at all and some of them look at me completely different now.

what are some techniques for fighting?
sometimes when i get mad i feel a little nervous or something, like im shook up, how can i stay calm and whip this guy?

i know i can take him, but why do people think of me as "the pretty boy" or the guy who won't do anything?

help please?
thanks guys

Do people really fight for buying things during black Friday in the USA?

Yep. Black Friday is insane.People have gotten killed at Black Friday sales: Wal-Mart Employee Trampled to DeathThe reason why Black Friday gets so crazy is that it historically has been the largest shopping day of the entire year in the US. So to game that, retailers started offering insane deals. The reason why people in those videos are so frenzied is that those televisions or whatever are probably at least 50% off. However, Black Friday is actually starting to lose a lot of its relevance, thanks to the internet. Black Friday is dying a slow death Since now people can just hop online and order whatever the hell they want, people are a lot less likely to risk getting murdered over a game console. Plus, there’s now “Cyber Monday” where online retailers offer discounts. The whole thing is stupid. I really don’t understand it, but there are some people who love Black Friday shopping. My cousin is one of them. She finds it super exciting.I, on the other hand, would rather not risk life and limb for a Tickle Me Elmo or whatever the hell is cool this year.
