Why Do People Ignore That The Republicans Gained Two Senate Seats After The 1995 Government

Republicans, here's why you should not be exited about 2010. If you disagree, I'd love to hear it (long post)?

The way I see it, there are two scenarios which could occur, if you think these are wrong, pray, enlighten us.

1. Best case scenario: The democrats reverse the republican leaning trends and add seats in congress. Remember how quickly the trends switched from dem to repub in 2009. Why can't the same happen in 2010, and go the other way? 2010 is projected to be when jobs come back. Employment figures are released friday, expect a drop. That will help the incumbent parties (Obama and democratic congress) approval numbers. Health care will be signed by months end. Controversial issue cools off when capital hill is no longer talking about it. Obama's State of the Union speach. He is expected to talk about job creation and reducing the deficit. People will llike that. If we are going to reverse your gain in poll numbers this year, we have the perfect scenario to do so.

2: Most likely scenario and one I can live with: You gain some in both houses but not a majority. Reid wins re-election after HC victory, Dodd, being in such a blue state, wins after undecideds rapidly turn to him rather than elect a republican. You have defeated our filibuster proof majority. No matter, with HC passed and an improving economy, the hard work is done and you have little more to obstruct. We have tamed the republican leaning trends enough to hold a majority. Enjoy your gains now, 2012 is just around the corner.

3. Not going to happen, but since you insist on arguing it will, fine. Hypothetical, the trends for republicans remain and you regain congress by the skin of your teeth: Like Clinton, Obama will move to the middle for re-election purposes, or give the appearance of doing so. It doesn't matter because again, the hard work would be behind us. The republicans will continue to be dead partisian as always, and Obama, like Clinton, will be able to paint the republican congress as radicals. The republicans, like 1995, will shut down the government, and the American people, like 1995, will blame congress, not Obama for the fiasco. Obama, like Clinton, will easily be re-elected in 2012, because, like Clinton, he will have a robust economy, HC, not taken effect yet, will be a non issue, and the wars will be over. Democrats, like 1996, 1998 and 2000, will gain seats for the next few elections. This republican congress would be much shorter lived then the one in 1994.

Can the U.S. government really postpone the 2020 election?

Original Question: Is it possible for the U.S. government to postpone or cancel the 2020 election? No Original Question DetailsNo.The President serves a term of four years (Article 2, Section 1, Clause 1.) Representatives serve a term of two years (Article 1, Section 2, Clause 1.) Senators serve a term of six years (Article 1, Section 3, Clause 1, and Amendment XVII, Section 1.)Congress may alter the date of the election, but may not do so in a manner that would allow anyone to continue their term past the prescribed limits. Any attempt to change the date of the election that would create a logistical challenge to changing over to newly elected Representatives, Senators or a newly elected President would meet with an immediate court challenge.Any attempt by any individual who may lose the election on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 to remain in the White House past noon on January 20, 2021 will result in immediate removal by the Secret Service.UPDATE: A newly elected President would be sworn in, even if there were a National Emergency. It is theoretically possible that the incoming president would be sworn in from a secure location, but there is no circumstance in which an outgoing President would be allowed to remain in office., nor any Congressional Representative or Senator for that matter. In the case of a National Emergency, the new President may or may not ask the Outgoing President to stay on as an informal adviser. The President has no authority to declare martial law.

According to Holy Books it is the land God promised to Prophet Moses (Moosa A.S.) to be given to the Jews who were badly treated under the control and rule of Pharaohs in Egypt. The region and city of Jerusalem remained under the control of Jews, Muslims and Christians in the past.
