Why do some people like Jennifer Lawrence?
Omw we have to be friends! Finally a normal person! :D I thought I was the only one who shared these views. She's really not classy and mature and I think she's such an attention seeker! She can never do anything quietly without trying to get attention from the whole world. I also noticed how she wasn't paying attention to Matthew's speech and was snickering and saying stuff about him to the woman next to her. I feel like I'm the only one who isn't in love with her and I don't think much of her acting. I think she just gets really good roles with good characters. And lastly I know looks aren't important but I think she gets over praised over her appearance when there's tons of actresses that look waaaaay better than her. With that haircut and caked on makeup (her under eye concealer looked so fake and didn't blend in at the oscars) she looked terrible. Her face is so chubby that I can barely see she has any eyes on. I think Emma Watson was so gracious and content with herself and her surroundings unlike Jen. She even looks waaaay better than Jen and is so classy. I think she's the celeb that's deserves all the hype she doesn't even care about it but Jen craves for the attention all the time. Always being loud or trying to do things to get everyone's attention. I think she's really arrogant and pretends to be this down to earth person because she wants everyone to like her.

She's a drinker and a pothead and totally bashes on girls who want to stay healthy. and she's now griping about the paparazzi when she is the one who got herself famous and shouldve known what to expect beforehand. and she constantly swears and has a pottymouth. and yet people think she's this sweetheart or something that girls should look up to as a media model? Give me a break! you watch she'll be just another Lindsay lohan or Amanda bynes

She's a good actress. Fame does ruin alot of Celebrities lives. Nothing new with that. She's not really whining she's just expressing she would like her own privacy at times.
Why do we love Jennifer Lawrence so much?
Because she's a great actress. In the films I've seen her in, she manages to make me see the subtle and conflicted emotions of the characters. For example in the Hunger Games, Katniss can be scared for her life, and confused about the romantic triangle while being angry at the capitol and amazed at the excesses of their luxuries. In Silver Linings Playbook, you see somebody who has faced grief and scorn and who has problems. She's confident and insecure at the same time. The passion she has for dance and the pain she has in other parts of her life balance. It's hard for some actors to show one real emotion. Jennifer Lawrence shows you how complex and deep and conflicted her characters are. She overwhelms you with how much she brings to her roles.
Why do people like Jennifer Lawrence, apart from her looks? What is it about her that attracts so many people?
I think Jennifer Lawrence is liked much more for her acting skills than her looks.There are other good looking actresses like Emma Watson and Kirsten Stewart and they have been around for a much longer time.JL surpassed them with only her acting skills.
I hate Jennifer Lawrence so much!?
Well, i have some reasons for hating her and this is why. She looks EXACTLY like this b*tch from my school, so that's a huge reason why. There's also just SOMETHING about her that i just hate about her. Have you ever hated a person for no reason? I have some reasons but there's just Something about her that i just don't like. In most of her pictures, Half of her breasts are flaunted around. It's not THAT big of a deal, but i mean, seriously, who shows off half of her breasts for the whole world to see in a provocative dress and pose? Sluts do. She is half naked or in a provocative "dress" in ALMOST all of her pictures. Seriously, just google Jennifer Lawrence and you'll find at least a dozen pictures of her being slutty and half naked. She's also ugly, Who would even find her half attractive WITHOUT her make-up on? Most of my friends think she's ugly too. To me, she doesn't look like anything special without her make-up on. I'm not saying everybody needs make-up to look pretty. She looked REALLY bad in the Hunger Games. Her stylists did horrible jobs. I admit that most of this hate is coming from that fact that she dresses like a slut and that she looks EXACTLY like this horrible horrible snobby girl in my school. So, my question is, " Can i get over my hatred towards her, and if i can, how? Why do people like her? Why does she dress like a prostitute?Is it wrong that i hate her because she acts and looks like my #1 enemy? Do you hate or like her and why? P.S This is MY opinion, SO PLEASE DON'T INSULT. I RESPECT AND UNDERSTAND THAT SOME PEOPLE DO FIND HER ATTRACTIVE AND NICE. I just think that they made a HUGE mistake casting her, I mean there are HUNDREDS of actors who could portray Katniss just as well as she did or most likely even better! Again, This is my opinion. What's the big deal about Jennifer Lawrence?!?
I've seen Catching Fire and the Hunger Games, and Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss in both of them. Everyone's like "I LOVE JENNIFER LAWRENCE!" except, I don't really see what so great about her. Sure, she's a good actress, but I bet if any other actress played Katniss, everyone would be like "I LOVE *insert actor's name here*!" just because she's in the Hunger Games. Is Jennifer Lawrence really that great of an actor, or do people just like her because she plays the main character in a popular book/movie series??

It’s the same old cycle that keeps repeating, again and again.One reason for Lawrence’s rise to popularity was her relatability—she snacks all the time! She loves pizza! She’s awkward, just like us! Later, it became apparent in her “relatable” stories that Lawrence lacked respect for other people. Stories started to emerge of high handedness. Certain ‘endearing’ quips have turned into annoying , nauseating ‘transphobic’ habits.When her naked photos leaked (which was horrible in itself) she replied “at least I’m not a hermaphrodite!” If you don’t know what she was saying, she was insinuating that being intersex (the better term) is terrible… .Then she has worked repetitively with David O. Russell, who sexually assaulted his niece!*There are many such instances where she was simply rude or ignorant ***I am not sure whether she is really unlikable or she was portrayed differently by the media and now media has turned on her.In particular, we could look on how promising she was and how she has self destructed her career by taking on some dubious projects - ‘Passengers’, ‘mother!’, ‘Red Sparrow’ were pretty much trashed by the critics and the public.I think the disappointment is being felt and translated into a general displeasure towards her.She actually predicted that people will get really fast fed up with her.I have discussed this in another answer hereRose G.
