Why Do People Mistake Nice With Creepy

Why do people think im creepy?

I do not know why that friend of yours called you creepy, but I'm sure that's not how normal people see you. You say you have goals in life and that you have a big heart - those are good qualities that a lot of men lack. You also say that you dress normal and that you're open to conversation, then why would anyone think you're creepy? You sure your friend didn't just say that because you'd just made a creepy joke or something? Haha, I don't know, but you sound like a good guy to me, and not at all creepy.

I guess I can't answer your question, since I don't know why he said that, but what I can say is: Don't listen to what others say unless it's positive. If he called yu creepy for no reason than it says more about him than it says about you. Be yourself and be proud of who you are.

Try being less shy if you want to get hooked up with someone. Girls prefer guys who knows what they want and goes for it. If you like a girl - talk to her. Don't be desperate, just be cool and funny. Remember, nothing is more attractive than confidence. You should try being more confident.

For example, I had this guy in my class who wasn't very popular in the beginning. Girls didn't like him, and the other guys made fun of him, but you know what? He didn't care. He just ignored the other guys, and he started being more outgoing when it came to the girls. It made all the difference! At the end of the year, I swear, he was the most popular guy in our class. (Lol, I would know because I was one of the girls having a huge crush on him.)

Anyway, I wish you all the best. You seem like a good guy, don't be afraid to show your true self.

I can testify from personal experience that this is true. Even though a nice person may have no hidden agenda, their actions may be perceived as threatening or intrusive. That is the last thing a nice person wants. A person with such a kind nature wants to be helpful, courteous, brighten a person’s day, or make another’s job or life easier. There could be a great deal of truth in the saying, “No good deed goes unpunished.” (This might be true in the eyes of others, but I am sure the Lord appreciates it when we are kind to each other.) Part of the reason that genuinely friendly people’s intentions are understood is because of the mistrust and suspicion that society in general instills in us. This is as sad as it is true. This isn’t to say that people cannot behave as being kind while at the same time having harmful intentions. The rational thing to do is apply common sense to each situation. Getting into a car with a stranger because he appears to be nice, is totally different than appreciating a favor or kind gesture from someone.

Thrice, I found notifs meant for someone else appearing in my Inbox. When words like fucking, screwing is the order of the day. Why are certain answers subjected to scrutiny. One thing, I found creepy or maybe it is accidental. Differential quota system prevailing on Quora even in the allotment of questions.Sometimes, that makes me neglect the ones on my notif and search on the home page for other interesting thought provoking questions.Doesn’t the person sending a personal question get to have a look at the profile of the chosen person.Otherwise, Quora is doing great.SCM.

Chinese people are creepy?

you just had a really bad experience XD
do you realize how hard it is for those people to find money? especially in nyc? they need to survive too, cause they're people too....and i dont think they're yelling or screaming, because chinese can sound a little loud if you're not used to it, or maybe that guy/gal was a little loud >_<...
and we have small eyes cause we have an extra layer of skin around our eyelid area :(
then don't go to chinatown, cause those places, especially in cities like nyc, chicago, toronto, vancouver, etc, are usually inhabited by taishanese and newer immigrants who want to live in small chinese communities, and these people can sound quite loud simply because of their culture back in china, or simply because of their dialect. go to hong kong or something rather than chinatown :D

Why do people mistake my boyfriend for my brother?

Who knows?

There is nothing weired and creepy, if you believe in Quran a divine revelation then your perspective will be different than if you don't believe.Whether one believes or not Quran is divine revelation. To believers it's commandments are from almighty Allah, and will be happy and pleased to learn it. Those who don't believe they will not study for guidance rather will be busy finding some thing in it by which he can pass adverse remarks.Quran is the book if you will study it for guidance he will surely get it and those read it find something to object upon believers, he will quote it out of context to get meanings he wish to get.For seeking guidance you have to read and think upon it's verses again and again then it will reveal it's meanings to the reader.Instead of reading what you came to know from books of non Muslim researchers, one should study Quran himself unbiasedly believing it Word of God. Then he should think about objections and assess how much truth is in them.

Why do most people think that quiet people are creepy, mysterious, scary, & unpredictable?

It's because they actually use their brains IMHHO. Independant intuitive thinkers are scary because they are coming up with unproven ideas, and become very unpredictable because we don't know what they are thinking.

For example; I've realized laughter is just a glorified way of dealing with mistakes, and comedy isn't something we should be paying to enjoy exactly.
Anybody EVER consider laughter might be bad for you? of course not! (you don't think either so how would you?-RANT)

So that makes two points right there: 1) it makes me anti social because I see the problem with something widely accepted as okay, and 2) it makes me unpredictable and scary because you never know when I might start yelling at people and asking what is wrong with them for laughing, which to the average person would make zero sense!

These are just analytical intuitive/creative thinkers who should be left alone. They should be left alone because these are the people that our economy and technological/product world are dependant on...what if there were no new ideas!?
And stop name calling, because you have no idea what we might be thinking about you....

Why are clown so very, very creepy?

What is up with that? I'd like to know who invented clowning and called it funny. They give the me willies! My friend collects clowns and I can't even bear to sit in her living room with all those creepy little painted faces leering at me. Freaky! (Shudder!)

It is completely understandable. People who are new to the concept of anime would definitely find it strange, considering that most anime have some very common tropes that have never been encountered in film, television, or even cartoons, such asSweatdrop/popping veins/other otherworldly expressionsStrange Hairstyles(no seriously)Comedic exaggerations(also, the Tsundere type)The NosebleedDifferences in art stylesOr maybe this sceneAnd that's exclusive of all the non-mainstream things that'd creep out a non-watcher, such as Hentai, tentacles or anime traps. So yes, people would definitely consider anime weird—they'll need time getting used to it. It's our eccentric, quirky little world, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
