Why is no one reponding to my craigslist replies and ads?
I have made a craigslist ad about 2 weeks ago. Several people have responded to me saying they were interested and wanted to talk and I emailed them on my Verizon account and never got replies back from any of them. I emailed them multiple times asking if they were still interested. What I do is I get a message with a bunch of numbers in it the anonymous email that craigslist puts out and I hit reply. I checked the help section and they said you could use your email as normal. Thanks!
How to deal with my husband responding to a craigslist ad?
Yell and scream at him enough so that he thinks twice before he does it again. He probably had some interest in recreational sex. That doesn't make it right, but some folks can make that seperation. He really can't justify doing something like that behind your back. Make sure he understands that there will be consequences if he tries such a thing again.

I know my husband was searching Craigslist ads for casual encounters. I joking mentioned craigslist to him in casual conversation about searching for CEs on CL and he said that he would never because it was the lowest of lows, but I knew he was responding to ads DAILY because I had access to his email account. So, I decided to list an ad that would entice him to respond. Funny thing is everything I posted was true about myself other than the fact I wasn't actually a "married woman seeking a married man." Sure enough he responded right away. I knew it was him for two reasons: 1) the idiot's real name is attached to the email account he responded with and 2) he sent a picture. So, what do I do with this? He tells me he promises he isn't leaving me or searching for casual sex, but he is searching for it daily. Do I chat him up and gain his trust and set up a meet or do I simply respond with a picture of myself? Any advice is surly welcome here!

@kitty in the sink They sent me an e mail first, logically, that means they have my e mail address before I bothered to reply. Also, additional questions, I know there is a way to block specific e mails from reaching you... at least you used to... anybody know how to do that?

I found out my boyfriend posted ads on Craigslist - do I leave him?
Last night I found out that my boyfriend of a year and a half has posted ads on Craigslist under "Casual Encounters". In one ad he even put his number (but on CL they don't allow this to go through). He also has an Xtube account and he posted comments and messages to other girls but they never responded. Basically my boyfriend has had a one-way relationship online. He claims no one ever responded to his ads and that he never responded to any ads. I feel so hurt that he would be doing this behind my back for this long. (Some of the posts he sent were a day before our anniversary, and two days before a vacation we took together). He cried and said he has never and will never do anything with anyone. He's begging my forgiveness. I just don't know what to do. And we are supposed to be moving in together this summer. A slight "twist" is that he caught me drunkenly making out with an ex six days into our relationship and he forgave me. But my infidelity was a one-night mistake. His lasted almost a year. I pointed out that I felt so guilty when I was making out with that guy and I would feel incredibly guilty putting an ad on CL. He said he felt guilty too. BUT HE POSTED ON CRAIGSLIST 5 TIMES! How can you feel guilty and post over and over? He deleted his accounts and he even got sick because he felt so guilty. He said he only did this stuff online because he was bored, but he never planned for it to go anywhere. I can't help but think "What If?" What if someone responded to his ad and they talked back and forth through e-mail? What if he's lying and he DID meet with someone? The most hurtful part is that I never really thought he would do something like this. I knew he liked watching porn but I never ever thought he would post ads on Craigslist offering his "hard d**k" and leaving his number. I do believe that he would never do this again - but how can I get over the fact that this even happened in the first place? I just don't know what to do. Sorry this was so long-winded but I need to vent and am very embarrassed to tell my friends.

You can report to the website admin, but they will just suspend the scammer’s account. Your money is still gone. I have been scammed twice on craigslist and neither craigslist nor the authorities could do anything about it.I was lucky however, to meet a cyber specialist who helped me recover my money. All he did was collect the payment receipts and trace the payments. When he found what he was looking for, he petitioned their bank. Eventually, my money was returned to me. Financial institutions do not like courts. They will do anything to protect their reputation. This is a loophole that one can exploit if you know what to do.
