Why does my cat love it when I play the flute?
I'm working on my M.A. in music, so I don't sound like crap or anything. When I pull out my bag to practice my husbands cat walks out of the room. But my cat (I got when it was 8 weeks, now 2 years) runs INTO the room, flops over on its back, and squirms like a worm when I start playing. Then she either sleeps under the stand, crawls into my flute bag to sleep, or crawls into my lap (VERY hard to play the flute with a cat in your lap) She also talks to me alot when I play, more like chirps than yowls. I know cats are super weird sometimes, and was wondering if anyone would know why she would run to the flute when most cats would run away.
Do cats express disgust?
Oh yes! Many years ago, my first husband decided to get a bit experimental with his cooking. Sometimes it worked and we had a fabulous meal (albeit, the meat and vegetables were sometimes consumed hours apart as timing was not his strong suit!), but sometimes ... not! One particularly memorable occasion we tried the meat and ... well, no! Our very intelligent cat Spook was partial to human food so began to campaign hard for it. No, we didn't want to inflict this truly disastrous meal on him, but he insisted. Loudly! So we put the plate down.He rushed it, and snarfed a bite without sniffing it first. Big mistake! His eyes widened, he spit it out, and stared at it in disbelief. He sniffed and his nose wrinkled in disgust. He thought maybe he'd just got a bad bit so sidled around the plate and took a bite from the other side. Spit! Oh yuck! He shook his head. He circled the plate, sniffing, wrinkling nose, and letting out little grumbles. Finally, he looked at us with absolute disgust on his face, lifted one paw and began making scratching motions from the lino floor over the plate.He couldn't have told us any more clearly that he thought it was shit! And he was right. We went out, bought some chicken, and made sure we shared some with him. The least we could do!
Why do strippers have such a bad reputation?
Stripping is just a job. If women would take care of their men at home then they wouldnt be going.that is why women hate strippers, it is the proof that they are not or will not take care of their man! It takes a certain mentality to work a strip club though and I wont recommend doing it for long as I have seen it destroy even the strongest willed women! People also stereo type strippers because the results of long term employment often extend beyond "working the stage/floors" and move towards other activities which give strip clubs horrible but true reputations. At face value it is just a job, which by the way pays very well, but I have seen it from female friends in past ruin their lives. Stripping does not make a women less, truthfully they are more confident in who they are and their looks...so lets be real, haters are 2 things jealous of looks or jealous that they wont take care of a man the way we need!
I fart on my cat's face, is this animal cruelty?
I can only answer this with a story that involves dogs.In the 50’s it was a popular joke to blame any foul odor on the family dog even though you were the one who passed gas.A couple of years ago I was driving along in my truck with my faithful companion, a miniature longhaired dachshund.All at once this horrible odor invaded the cab. I could see nothing outside that looked stinky. I had not passed gas. I assumed that my dog had done it. I turned my head and was about to say “ Did you do that Dolly?”Those words never left my mouth because when I looked at her she was giving ME the stink eye. She clearly thought I was the one who passed gas. I wound up blurting out “ I did not do that Dolly!”A few minutes later we found the problem. There was an 18 wheeler way ahead of us that was hauling pigs.I’m probably the only human in history who was accused by a dog of farting and had she been able to talk she’d have said I was abusing her.Once we got close to the truck she started giving it the stink eye. She figured out pretty quick what the real cause was.
How many people if they smoke, smoke around their pets?
I think it's horrible to smoke around pets. They have the right to clean air just as much as anyone. If I have company that smokes, they better not dare light a cigarette in my house or I will rip them a new @$$hole.
