Why do my jerks/twitches get worse around people with Tourette's?
I had a friend when I was growing up that had a facial tic. He would blink or rapidly squint his eyes three times. Sometimes he would do it three times, then open his eyes wide, and roll them. It would happen more frequently when he was nervous or stressed.It used to bother me when he did that. It gave me this feeling similar to what some people get from nails on a chalk- board. It just bothered me and made me self conscious about my own eyes. I’d start blinking more and sometimes my eyes would water. It seemed like the harder I tried to stop or tried not to think about it, it would make it worse. It became a compulsion for me whenever I was around him.I’m not sure why this happens. I think in my case, it was that I was obsessively thinking about something that bothered me. Do the tourette’s tics bother you?I’ve read about mirroring. This is a human habit of adopting someone else’s body language and postures during social interactions. I don’t know if it could apply to tics and jerks. It’s another possibility.
What's the difference between a sociopath and a self centered jerk?
I hear a lot of people throw around the word sociopath I think most of the time the persons just a jerk and only cares about themselves. one of my friends said that all the characters are sociopaths on it's always sunny in Philadelphia and Seinfeld I think they're all just jerks and crappy people. but in their defense there pretty funny hahaha

Why do people follow jerks like Ram Rahim?
Because they Believe!If you are discussing a topic which you are passionate about and the person in front of you gives a point countering what you believe in, would you agree to it right away? NO. We go into defensive mode. Our belief becomes stronger instead. On top of that, if the person doesn't have enough evidence, our stand becomes firmer till we get an evidence which completely destroys our old belief. But in the world of grey shades, it is difficult to prove anything as Black or white.When it comes to beliefs in these God-men, belief plays a very crucial role. This belief is unwavering as people actually believe them to be descendants of Gods. The fact that there is no logic behind that belief doesn't occur to them. If everyone thinks so logically, there would be more atheists than theists. This is particularly true about India where education and revolution of free thought haven't penetrated enough.So, when any evidence of their crimes is exposed, the believers would be predisposed to negate those evidence. They tend to find evidence contrary to the ones produced. They tend to see the positive side of the God-man and replace logic with belief and they also use belief to argue instead of logic.This is also true in case of political sycophancy. A leader in whom you believe will appear pure even if there is evidence to the contrary. You brush them away as conspiracies by rivals. We are sheep governed by our beliefs. We don't question. Im TIRED of being a nice guy...how to be a jerk?
Just be yourself. Don't focus on being a nice guy- focus on being yourself. If being nice is who you are then don't change that. The problem sounds like it is giving your heart to the wrong women that will take advantage of you. There is nothing wrong with being nice. The problem comes in when you do not know how to tell people no and see when someone is using you. Everyman and women in America has been taken advantage of at one time or another. But you just learn from those mistakes and try not to get hassled again. I bet if you look back over those relationships you can honestly say that you saw signs that these women were no good for you. But you thought you could change them once they saw that you were so good hearted and nice. Well that is a good answer but I can tell you right now that is not how most people think. If they can use you then they will use you until you are used up. So be who you are but remember if someone shows you who they are then please believe them. And do not say you will change them or they would never take advantage of you. We all learn from experiences so now just use them to help you make better decisions in the future.
Why do people say nice guys finish last. they finish alone?
Girls like nice guys, but the self proclaimed nice guys are usually bitter and angry and girls can smell this from a mile away. It's not they don't like him because he's nice, there is usually something else about him that turns them off. Maybe he's a pushover, or physically unattractive, or too feminine who knows, some girls also feel bored if she "wins" all the time. You shouldn't have to change for anyone the right girl will like you for who you are but treat a girl like a human being you want to form a connection with, not think her like a prize goddess maybe you'll get better luck.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Chevy Chase, he has a history for being a bit of a Richard to everyone and a history for hating everything he has ever been in, not even kidding either. There’s the whole story about Nothing But Trouble, although that movie itself wasn’t a masterpiece - and there was a lot of production trouble especially regarding who could direct the movie considering Ivan Reitman and John Landis both turned it down and John Hughes also turned it down and so Dan Akyroyd had to wind up directing it himself as well as writing and starring in it. Akyroyd wanted to play the character Chase ended up playing as well as the judge but the studio decided on Chevy Chase.Chase didn’t like working on the movie (no surprise there) in particular the script, but he did it because he and Akyroyd were friends and he thought he could improve the script by improvising.

I’d say plenty. It’s literally present even in the small things. Here are a few to put to picture.If two people of the opposite gender are travelling in a car, almost everytime the guy would want to drive. Only recently were women in Arab countries granted the right to even hold a driving license, we are probably very far from our driving skills not being laughed at the drop of the hat.A girl who is in a car accident will always be blamed and things will be cited as her fault. Whereas a man in an accident will always be listened to, cue they know how to drive and are logical. And if were to witness an accident between two people of the opposite gender, you would perfectly how much these self proclaimed jerks comment on our driving skills.Asking your daughters , only your daughters to help the host in the kitchen when you visit someone’s house. Whilethe men and boys rough house round.When someone visits your house, only the girls or women are asked to serve food. So much so for guests are Gods.Even when it comes to something as little as adopting a dog, people prefer male dogs. Female foeticide and not wanting female human babies was not enough maybe.Things as small as a girl keeping hair super short is jeered at.Even men who are woke and fight for equality sometimes commit these petty social verbal crimes that hurt us.
