Why Do People Stare At Me Continuously Like They Are Hypnotised

How can I make people stop staring at me?

I don't want to generalize this answer based on any gender bias. However, I got this wonderful piece of advise on - how to avoid someone staring at you? This ancedote happened when I used to share ride from office to home with one of my senior lady team member. She used to live nearby my house. She mostly used to take me along when heading back to home and drop me on the way to my home. This happened once that we had stopped at a red light and she was on the driving seat and I was on the front seat. As we were waiting for the signal we saw two bikes with two guys who had stopped their bike close to our car. I realized that the guys were constantly gazing inside the car as if they have seen something unusual and in Maam. It started making me uncomfortable as if they are absolutely shameless and have no respect for humanity. I turned towards Maam and saw she was absolutely normal and wasn't even bothered of their actions. I was puzzled and was bit uncomfortable asking this as a question? How is managing knowing that a set of people are constantly stalking at her. However, my body language was good enough to tell that I am puzzled and angry of the way how people on the bike were behaving. Then she very comfortably asked me what happened? I said “Maam how could you manage to not get bothered even, knowing when someone has been stalking and gazing like an idiot constantly? She smiled and said, ignorance is bliss and said unless it gets to a situation that you give them a harder look? She just turned towards guys and looked once and the carried the expression on the face if they want something, they felt ashamed. She made them realise there isn't anything different from their mother and sisters, that they should behave differently. Her sense of confidence and courage not only impressed me but also touched me. We should never do things which might make you feel shameful.Their is an advertisement, which gives a very strong message to our society. Perhaps, people behaving such a way should have the similar treatment. Link below"Dekh Le" -- Issued in Public Interest by Whistling Woods International

I hypnotised my Husband?

My breast milk is coming in because I am pregnant. My boyfriend was Curious, as was I, So I decided to let him try it. After about 30 minutes of feeding him, he fell asleep. When he woke up I could sense something off about him. He was constantly staring at my breast. So Thursday I told him I was hungry and he went into the kitchen and fixed me lunch with out even talking smart to me or saying no. I decided to experiment some more and get a little crazy so I asked for his wallet. Bought me some new clothes and completely emptied it, he didn't even mind just looked at me with a very happy smile. Now Friday he had my breakfast in bed. I feel like I have him completely under my control, and it feels very good. We've been married for 2 years and this is odd.Am I doing something wrong? Should I keep doing it?

Why do people cough, sniff, clear their throat at me?

Well, I don't know about your situation, but I have noticed that happens to me sometimes, and it seems to be gay people doing it so I think maybe its some kind of signal to try to see if I am interested or something. I don't know the appropriate thing to do so I don't make any sound at all. I mean, if I was interested then what am I supposed to do, and if I'm not then what am I supposed to do? I don't know if this has anything to do with your situation though. It might also be that you look so good that they feel intimidated and self-conscious so they cough out of nervousness. Or you might look scruffy and that makes them feel allergic so they get self-conscious and start coughing. If you email me a pic of yourself, or tell me where to find a pic online, then I can tell you if its anything to do with your appearance.

What’s the real reason behind why men stare at women?

A lot of it is because they are in essence hardwired to do so. The (male) brain has very low-level circuits and hormonal systems that cause them to stare. Often he’s not even aware of the fact that he is staring. Some of the same hardwiring is present for women but its effects seem to be stronger for men.A second reason is that a woman is a more visually pleasing subject of attention than say, the back of a bus. Most of the time our visual system needs a fixation target, and in the absence of a more important or salient choice, the woman is chosen. Most staring is entirely innocuous and as mentioned often subconscious. Some stares, not an insignificant proportion, are associated with bad intent, but it’s less common than, I suspect, many imagine. That said, when a stare is demonstrably motivated by bad intent, then it is the social duty of all around who can see what’s going on to remove the man involved, by force if necessary. There are of course other reasons for staring: disapproval, dominance, surprise etc. etc. but I get the feeling that’s not what the original poser of the question was talking about. There seems to be a popular view in current social thinking that imagines staring to be almost unforgivably offensive and something no so-called ‘decent’ man would do. This is completely unrealistic and doesn’t seem to be able to integrate the fact that men will stare to some degree, because of the hardwiring in the brain. And it diminishes some of the joy of human interaction, by on the one hand expecting something akin to monk-like detachment from men - as if women had no more value or interest than the back of the bus described earlier - and on the the other encouraging a suspicious and resentful attitude in women through reading more sinister motives into a man’s actions than was there. On the other hand there is a clear reason for staring to be mildly discouraged: if there were no social bounds on staring then many women would be being followed by multiple sets of eyes wherever they went, as if under surveillance, which would be disconcerting to say the least. However, in most circumstances the most that is appropriate would be a mild rebuke when a stare becomes too overtly persistent.

Why does self hypnosis make me cry?

Before being hypnotized again, I think you should really consider this article. It is not as innocent as people think it is: http://www.watchtower.org/e/20030708a/ar...
