Why do people stare at me in public?
OH... MY.... GOD. The same exact thing has been happening to me!! It must have been just tuesday last, I ask my buddy merlin why people thought it was strange that I was running around with a wizard hat on, waving a polished stick at randoms and yelling "expeliarmus!" Its just because I want to make sure the evil lord doesnt destroy my being with his death stick, should i meet him on the street. I mean seriously, I am just supposed lay down and take it as he pillages my insides with his long and powerful... list of spells? I should think not. He very rarely shows mercy and in those most uncommon of cases, he leaves his victims sore for weeks. Once he gets his hands on you, there is nothing you can do to stop him from penetrating your...mind with his occumency powers. I will not fall victim to this foul beast..... Not after what my dad did to me last weekend.....
Why do people stare so much at me in public?
Maybe it might not be the way you look, but more concerned with how you compose yourself normally. I doubt that you smile like that ALL the time, because if you do, then that might be the reason why so many stare. It would be kind of strange to see someone smile like that by themselves, unless your with friends, then in that case they might just be staring at your because your pretty. Another thing is that maybe people really aren't staring at you, but you are hyper-sensitive to your surroundings and 'think' that everyone is staring at you. Being hyper-sensitive isn't a bad thing, it just simply means that your more detail oriented, and can't help notice the little things around you all the time. It's not a good thing, but it's not a bad thing. Depends on how you take it. Other than that, I don't think there's any particular reason why they stare at you. Try to catch YOURSELF when you catch someone staring at you, and then think about what you're doing at that point. Maybe its your expression and you didn't notice it. Or the way your walking?
Why do people stare at me in public?
They are checking you out. Maybe they find you cute, maybe they like your hair, maybe they are just checking out their environment. It's in our genes to check out our environment to make sure nothing hides danger. People faces tend to give out danger by expressions the best so we look at faces. Also, since you are really concerned about being stared at you will pay attention to it and notice everything. So it will seem that everybody is staring at you, or at least more that in reality. Maybe people look at you cos you look at them. By looking to them you might have attracted attention so when you move to look at them they will notice it and look back and you will think they looked all along when in fact they didn't. And of course there is a Murphy's law - if somebody at public can stare at you, they will. :D

Why do people stare me a lot in public?
The only people you should care about are those that are in your life. If others stare, its for their own reasons, such as the way you dress, fix your hair or something similar. What you need to do is decide that others looking can get you down or not. I would say not. Don't let the fears and desires of others change who you are. Find peace in who you are and how you present yourself, as the above comment said, maybe your hot, maybe they think odd things about the way you dress or some other issue that belongs to them as individuals, and has nothing to do with you. As long as their looking, enjoy it and try to lead a normal life, the issues aren't yours, its theirs. Just do what you can to fit in with mainstream society and let them deal with their own issues, or you can be an original and look at the second glances as unworthy of your attention, since you have better things to worry about.
Why do people stare at me in public places?
okay, so every time i go some where, like to the store or to the supermarket, guys always stare at me! its creepy and its really embarrassing and scary, because its like older guys(not old guys or to be my dad kind of old) but it still freaks me out like the other day i went to the store with my brother, he made me smile because he said something funny, and there was this guy and i was looking at him, but not really LOOKING at him, and he kept on staring at me it makes me think that i have something on my face or something does anybody know why this is? sorry this is sorta long, but i need opinions!
Why do people always stare at me in public?
Whenever i'm at a bus or a mall, People always intend to look at me. I mean, WTF?? ALL the time, people just automatically look at me. I see this asian guy, same race as me, right beside me and he eats like fast, I eat normally,(no offence) and again, people look at me. I have my dad and siblings beside me and they ignore them and face straight at me. Well, you get the point. I don't do anything weird, just a normal person walking, minding my own business.

Well that's very natural and it's okay to feel that way.Everyone feels that he's the main character in the world so you feel everyone talks / gossips about you, everyone stares and judges you, but actually no one is. Everyone is busy thinking about other things, they're busy being ... Themselves! So next time you feel someone is staring at you just convince yourself that it's your brain decieving you.I'm 20 years old and really skinny until the last couple of years I felt the same as you, I felt like people are staring at me and judging me, but I finally came to the conclusion that no one is staring or EVEN thinking about me! Some people just stare blankly.

Okay I go out in public and people just stare at me. I don't know why, I look like an average teenager, I dress decent, well groomed. My parents and friends even notice others looking at me! Now listen, a couple of these especially are not very flattering pics in my opinion. I don’t know I suppose I intentionally chose them because if I uploaded all my great pics then the obvious answers would arise. But I’ve struggled with social anxiety for the longest time, and I’d appreciate sincere thoughts on how I look. Because sometimes I catch people gazing at me for longer periods than they normally should be and I can’t put my finger on whether they are looking at me for so long because they think I’m pretty or because they think I’m odd-looking..or maybe both. I know whatever they think shouldn’t affect me, but I feel pretty self-conscious when I’m out and about. And I’ve been told I am pretty here and there throughout my life, but also have had people stare at me and I feel like they think I’m weird-looking. So I need some answers from you guys.Also I have been told that I have a different/unique beauty about me, I don’t know.Anyways, thoughts from you people will be sincerely appreciated.Social anxiety sucks.
