Why Do People Want To Be Insane/crazy

Are crazy, mentally insane people aware of their insanity or do they think they're normal?

Drug addicts are basically that, they do no longer seem to be extra magnificent (despite if at one component they could have been) yet to be trapped interior the vicious cycle of medicine isn't an illustration of a prophet or genius. yet, basically because of the fact somebody is addicted to drugs would not advise they are mentally insane, it potential they are addicted to drugs, the medicine do grow to be the guy's judgment of right and incorrect and rational. I even have seen human beings do issues you're able to under no circumstances have faith to have the skill to get their "restoration". mentally insane, that's a query in basic terms somebody that has stated a particular guy or woman's movements over a quantity of time could answer. i'm specific you're able to decide what's and is no longer sane in case you dealt with somebody that became into or wasn't. many all and sundry is criminally insane although and cover it nicely, they scam, control, mislead, and use, then make it look somebody else has executed it. insanity is obtainable, it truly is real, basically like precise and incorrect yet many many human beings won't be able to parent between sanity/insanity, precise/incorrect. you're able to have a ideas you workout many times, a heart you employ, and a judgment of right and incorrect you customarily safeguard and enable it safeguard you, then you certainly can tell the version.

This question reminds me of an episode of the X-Files, titled “Clyde Bruckman’s Final Repose.”In the episode, a psychopath kills a number of fortune tellers, all of them quacks. Eventually, he encounters the character of Clyde Bruckman (Peter Boyle), who happens to actually be psychic. However, when the killer asks Bruckman the burning question, “Why am I going to be doing the things I’m going to be doing?” (meaning, killing people), he responds thusly:He does the things he does because he’s a homicidal maniac. The crazy people in Bird Box want people to look at the creature for the same reason: because they’re crazy.

That is without a dought an unorthodox thing to want and to ask for. I would like to know what your perception and idea of insanity is? It sounds to me like this is a fantasy type idea, a way to escape or alter whome your personality is, in one way or another, for reasons that are not clear, but you may have the answeers to. The fact that you say 'this thought keeps on recurring', shows that what ever thoughts and feelings that you have, on particluar events or experiances that may be psychologicaly diffcult for you to deal with, shows that this is an automatic thought, one that continues to recure without concious summoning. It may be a defence mechanism or a coping mechanism, but it is not clear, simply by reading your short statment.  Realistically you can NOT simply achive insanity and enjoy the option to return to baseline sanity. Cognitive processing does not exist that way. If these thoughts bother you and are making life difficult for you to deal with, then you should consult a therapist or doctor. Cognitive behavioural therapy is highly succesful psychotharpy, that can give you the skills to challenge and alter negitive, intrusive thoughts, and cope better.

Well, you might be. We usually do get the feeling to kill somebody quite often. That doesn't mean that we go on killing everyone we want to. We just kill them in our mind and be happy. Learn to control how you feel. It is normal to hate people but it surely is crazy to kill them. Defeat them in some other form and attain peace. Don't let your feelings defeat you.Take care, buddy.

Why do I want to be crazy?

I don't think you're attention seeking, but maybe you're a little too curious. people's minds will sometimes obsess a bit too much on certain oddities they find fascinating. I think you could benefit from maybe studying more about the disorders or taking a psychology course. it truly is fascinating.
also, you might just be the kind of person that relishes uniqueness and different ways of looking at the world. in that case, just be as much of yourself as possible and just hope for the best!

How do people go insane?

By crossing the line between "sanity and insanity".
According to my " Abnormal Psychology" Prof. ( a very nice young lady, by the way ) there is a very thin line between "normal" and "abnormal" behavior.
I agreed with my prof. ' there is a very thin line"if you let yourself go!
Sometimes we have a genetic predisposition; some other times we have just learned by imitating wrong behavior from our grown -ups or care takers.
Although, I'm sure that is not what you meant by ' full blown crazy."
In my opinion, real mentally ill people, are "gone" wild either by self - choice or by an organic disorder such as a brain decease, or a very traumatic experience which is so painful that they prefer to stay ' there- ' in the darkest room of their existence.
That's why they don't bathe , or care about social protocols. They just lost faith in the social order, and lost faith in God's divine justice, and just feel more comfortable about it by just 'being'.
I guessed that having a ' nervous condition" it is not a prerequisite for being "crazy." However it could be a trigger, if there is 'a precipitating factor. '
A traumatic experience will be enough to throw that person over the edge...or going ' full blown crazy' like you call it, if he/she loses the power of reasoning out the situation, the actions and the consequences..
i think is more a self-choice...and has a lot to do with having a weak or a strong character and the will power to say -No! I refuse to succumb to it.
Madness is a Demon with many faces.
In the Bible there is the story of a man who was possessed by 22 demons.
He was completely bizarre and crazy. Jesus exorcised the man and commanded the demons to leave the man alone. So, the demons entered the pigs...and the man was cured of his madness ( read the story in the Bible ...It is there ! )

How do people go crazy?

Being crazy (a bad term) has various reasons, depending on the mental condition. Depression, if clinical, is an imbalance in the brain, and therapy/medication is needed to function again. Sadness and blues, due to losses in one's life, is sometimes called depression, but it is not the same; clinical needs psychiatric intervention, the blues need only a refocus and time to heal/and possible short term medication.

Those in mental institutions are there for their own protection and those around them. Their mental conditions are so severe that they need heavy medications and help to survive their emotional phases/outbreaks. They do see things differently than we do, because there perspective is at a different level. It is too extensive to explain, but each has their own dynamic. Example: Those with Paranoia see the world as against them, so they react in defense of their supposed danger.
People don't go crazy because of their environment, but at times, it is one other aspect of why they are like they are. Some people are stronger than others (not as sensitive to their world) and able to withstand a damaging childhood. If there is no clinical basis for mental disorders, they can survive better than those who lack some of that stamina.
We all tend to place people in boxes and label them, but mental illness can happen to anyone, and at birth, many are born without the capability to survive life's damage to their psyche. We must pray for all of them who are damaged; and thank God we are not like that. "There, but for the Grace of God, go I" is a famous saying. How true.

Linking insanity with psychopathy is nonsensical. Everyone on earth is capable of having a psychotic break, given the right circumstances. Psychosis is what should be addressed here, not psychopathy.Do I want to bathe a wall in someone else's blood? No. That's a ridiculous waste of my time. What do people experiencing psychosis feel? That depends on the person and the situation. When a friend of mine genuinely believed that he was a star about to explode and kill the world, he felt terror. When he was arranging all of the small items in the house in stacks and rows of three, he was quite cheerful.

What makes people go insane?

I'm assuming you want specifics?
Intelligence is one big way to go; a 140 IQ is a genius, and most people that break that tend to be a little crazy. I once saw a Dr. Phil show where this girl saw and talked to numbers and her IQ was 146.
If they're a natural worrier, like me, that can turn into paranoia, which will very quickly make them go insane.
Loss of close ones.
If they've been disregarded by society.
If they have an unrequited 'thing'. ex) The Phantom of the Opera never experienced love and went insane.
Overly ambitious. ex) Black Swan
Uncomfortable/ New environment.
Guilt is one of the bigger causes of insanity. It will eat at you, trust me.
Too much control over emotions. If they don't feel anything they will lack a conscience, which will increase their chances of committing crazy crimes.
Conflicting influences. Think of the devil and angel on your shoulders, giving you conflicting advice. If you can't choose, you could lose it.
Extreme depression.
Traumatic incident: Murder, violence, unexplained situations
Overcome with fear.
Miscarriages.
Monotony.

Any kind of behaviour that doesn’t fit in with every individual’s perception of societal expectations of how people should act.I can’t really answer your question except to say that the definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. In relation to food though. People sporadically buy things they know they didn’t used to like, because taste buds change as you get older. So I couldn’t say that that rule holds true always.Other crazy things……Doing things that the majority of the population just can’t figure out why, because it’s not logical.Eg; Trying to market to a bank the idea to set up a restaurant that sold Asian (Vietnamese/Cambodian/Filipino etc) street food, like balut, and grilled frog in Australia. Here- Top Asian delicacies that many consider kind of gross. You probably would get knocked back very quickly because the majority of Aussies wouldn’t buy it.Eg; Going into a public toilets at dusk and singing as loudly as you can ‘Joy is the flag flown high from the castle of my heart’. (My mum)Eg;In public (esp) grabbing your tits and jumping up and down while whinnying. (My mum has done this too. Lots of times)Eg; Drugs (very negative consequences)Even things that are legal but don’t make much sense- smoking and gambling (makes you sick and a waste of money). People see a sense of enjoyment that is relatively unharmful and sometimes beneficial from drinking, so drinking doesn’t seem as illogical unless your budget doesn’t extend that far and you’re spending your bill money on it; then it becomes illogical)If people can’t figure out the logical why of a decision or action then it will seem crazy to them.To an atheist, a christian will look crazy, and vice versa.Hope this helpsxx
