Why Do People With Brown Eyes Say They

Why do people hate brown eyes?

All the guys that I ask, always say that they want a girl with blue or green eyes and they hate brown eyes. And all the pretty girls in school have blue eyes and all the geeks have brown. And in the books too! about this ugly girl who had brown eye! why is with everyone?!?!?

Why do people like brown eyes?

I have brown eyes..but they are weird because they change from different shades depending on my mood when im upset or crying they are a light brown and when im happy they are darker....but anyways everyone says they love my eyes and i dont because they are so common..why does everyone like them but me?

Why do people with brown eyes say their eyes are hazel?

I know hazel eyes are eyes with multiple colors but you don't expect amber & brown to count as hazel or even small hints of green in *good* lighting.. They're just brown... When people say they have hazel eyes I'm thinking "Ok, either they're a brown eyed person trying to sound unique or they actually have visible colorations like blue and green combined so that is doesn't actually count as either color so it has to be called hazel. No offense to anyone. Just wondering why *some* people with brown eyes prefer to say hazel now?

Do all black people have brown eyes? And if so, why?

Who do you mean by “black” people? If you mean “black” as in African Americans then the answer is, “No.” (There are those—more notably Walter White—pun intended—who had blue eyes, and blond hair). If you mean those of darker skin hue, regardless of where they were either born (nationality) or come from (heritage) then the answer is “of course, not.” I have a friend who has green eyes, and sometimes hazel eyes—naturally. Of course, you could mean simply people who LOOK darker and very well may be white (all understanding of the term). Then the answer is…well, but you KNOW this answer don’t you? ALL PEOPLE are ALL DIFFERENT, even when they are similar—note: twins (period)

Why do people say brown eyes, brown skin, and black hair is "Exotic" when it's the most common colors?

I mean can you really call a trait exotic when 98% of the world has the exact same traits? Blond(e) hair, red hair, green eyes, blue eyes, etc. Now those are traits that are exotic. I see brown eyed people everyday. It's not like it's a trait that is rare. The media view is seen as: 98/100 people having brown eyes is "exotic", but for some reason 2/100 people having light eyes is "Boring."

Brown eyes, brown skin, and black hair is something that is too common all over the world. White skin, blue/green eyes, and non-black hair is something that is rare.

I have dark brown eyes. Why are blue/green eyed people so much more attractive than brown eyed people? Why are brown eyes so boring?

I challenge that premise. Only a small percentage of the world’s population has blue/green eyes. It is mostly found in Northern parts of Europe, the British Isles, former British colonies and Western Asia. Even in those locations, most people are still brown-eyed.TV shows, movies, music videos, advertisements and magazine covers will usually feature actors and models that reflect the majority population. The US has been a global superpower for a while and is a predominately White country. Most White Americans are of British, Irish and German descent, so blue eyes is not an uncommon feature. We tend to look at celebrities and public figures as glamorous and higher status which gives them power on fashion trends and beauty standards. The aftereffect of colonization and now media globalization has also caused Eurocentrism to seep into beauty standards across the world.Though I still argue that attractiveness is subjective because beautiful people exist in all of the continents across all ethnicities, light eyes or not. Also, before the arrival of Europeans, I find it hard to imagine that there were no extravagant head-turning beauties in East and South Asia, Africa and Indigenous America and Australia where they were more or less exclusively brown-eyed people. In my opinion, brown eyes are more expressive and friendly looking. They can also compliment any hair color, hair texture, skin color and facial feature. I admit to the bias on that because me and my family are all brown-eyed. But even still, there are a plenty of dark-eyed models, actors and musicians that are considered beautiful in Western media.Women:Men:I really do not think any of these people look boring or less attractive than somebody with a lighter eye color. In fact, the brown eyes may have heightened their beauty and sexiness.Anyway, beauty is an opinion. The media can influence public perceptions on it but it still comes down to the individual. I can guarantee you that there are people out there that will appreciate and love you for your brown eyes and there are plenty that may prefer it to other eye colors.
