Would you date someone who had a mental illness?
I know so many people with the mental illnesses that you mentioned and I wouldn't mind dating any of them. They are all fully functional, but occasionally have panic attacks. To me this is just who they are and I try to comfort them to the best of my ability. That does not and should not affect a relationship. So long as the person has a good heart and cares for me, I would date them. I would look past any and all mental illnesses if I loved them and they loved me.

I can bet this question is from an Indian ! :)Because ONLY in India You’d find the majority of girls on dating sites are actually Guys (in the absence of attention from girls … many guys masquerade as girls and have fun ! And learn some of the “trade secrets” of proposing a girl from other smarter guys ! :p)So whats the “success rates” of these dating sites ? I’d be pleasantly surprised if it’s more than 2–5% ! Why ? Because most of the girls uploading their pics would be “below average” (and thus unexciting) and those who look really “hot” have either uploaded pics downloaded from Google or if these pics are genuine they’d be in v.high demand (competition there starts from 1:100 onwards !)On the contrary, there’s better chance of impressing a girl in real life (may be 10% to begin with !) … she’d usually be uninterested in knowing whether You could write well on Quora or is popular among girls on FB ! :)
Why do so many people have mental illness in the United States?
"Mental illness" is a very big business in the USA. Big pharma makes many billions of dollars making symptoms of normal living into "mental illness" even on children. For almost anything wrong with you they have a drug. And then another and another and another. Notice they never say that these drugs actually CURE anything. A hundred years ago they were promoting heroin, cocaine etc. as cures for whatever ailed you. The psychiatric drugs of today are more addictive, far more costly and harder to withdraw from. But your insurance will pay for it so that does not matter. They just have these pesky little side effects like suicide and murder.

What is this "normal" business. Girls don't just crawl out from under the earth to be the PERFECT match for you. We are human beings! Normal is a subjective term. You get sized up in an instant just from a few dates. I am not perfect. I get nervous, and so does the other person. Everyone has a problem, you have a suspicion problem, a labeling problem, and a impatience problem. But, I wouldn't not date you because you had these problems. I understand how you feel. You're only human.Your suspicion has a deeper component. You are depending on this dating website to find you the PERFECT partner, right away. Take your time, get to know someone for a realistic amount of time. You never can tell, who will be a good match for you.Narrow down the girls you really like, and spend your time being friends with each of them, instead of going on a bunch.
