Why Do So Many People That Hate America Choose To Live Here Or Continue To Stay Here

Why do people choose to live in Tornado Alley?

I hate living in tornado alley because I'm terrified of tornadoes but I know a lot of people who get excited by them and feel the urge to hunt them down. Also we have some very pretty country side if your into that type of thing.

Why do so many people that hate America choose to live here or continue to stay here?

I say adjust or get the hell out. No one asked you to come.

Why do you live in America?

I was born here m. My family first arrived in 1619.So why should I move because of the current political situation? I have seniority. One of my other ancestors fought for George Washington at Trenton and Valley Forge. But honestly, I never liked the 9–5 rat race. I've wanted to go to Latin America for years. I regret not going when I had the chance.. before Belize went from beautiful resorts and blue water and Mayan pyramids in the Caribbean. I love the climate and stuff, but it's since been destabilized. So I'm looking at Chile or Paraguay because of their social laws.

Why do people who hate America, still choose to live in America?

We went to USA, lived there 20 years, hated it, and left. We are not the only ones. Many do in fact leave (but USA media rarely if ever reports on them).Leaving is not easy as one must have another viable alternative to go to, be able to get a Visa to go, and have money for the move. If you have children in school it is that much more difficult. In our case we were Green Card holders so renouncing was easy. For U.S. Citizens is may be much harder and expensive - the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is a very big concern for them.See also my answer to Are Norwegians interested in immigrating to the U.S.?So leaving sounds good but it may not be easy at all. But many are leaving and that is a fact.

Why do so many people want to live in California?

No. It sucks here unless you’re a flaming liberal. The state leans so far to the left, I swear it’s going to fall over into the Pacific. They had sanctuary cities before, now the whole state is a sanctuary. It’s practically impossible to buy guns here, at least compared to some other states. You can walk down the street smoking a joint. You see guys with guys and gals with gals. You can go to a festival in the Castro and see guys with their junque out.Are you planning on buying a house here? You’d better be prepared for sticker shock. Flimsy, bare bones homes outside of South Bumfuck might be had for below $300k. A half decent home in a half decent neighborhood will set you back about $650k. Yes, k, as in 300 thousand and 650 thousand. In San Francisco, poverty level for a family of four is $100k, yes, 100 thousand.OK, so you’ll not be buying. One bedroom apartments can go for well over fifteen hundred per month, two over two thousand… just figure at least $1,000 per bedroom. And up. And up.If you don’t believe me, just peruse the rental boards on craigslist:SF bay area jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and eventsThe Santa Rosa area was just hit by a huge 50 year firestorm that took out thousands of homes and businesses, and created about 20,000 new homeless people, new homeless people who will receive generous insurance checks to rent while they rebuild. The vacancy rate was ridiculously low to begin with, it must be damn near 2% if not lower by now. Landlords are gouging, new tent cities are going up, campers and RVs are parked overnight everywhere, usually in groups.Gasoline just got hit with another tax, this one $0.12/gallon?! It’s now over $3.00/gallon right now. It’s hot like hell in some places. I remember one summer it went well over 100 for about 17 days in a row in Fresno. Other places will see 50 degree temperature drops in just a couple of hours. And an earthquake is coming. A big one, a real big one, is coming, but unlike hurricanes, and to a lesser extent tornadoes and tsunami waves, you have no clue as to when it’s coming. Taking a dump, about to come, or having just fallen asleep for the first time after four sleepless nights in a row, earthquakes do not care.I’ll be back later to tell you about the bad things about California.

What do you think about Americans who politically hate America so much, they just want to leave and renounce their origins/citizenship?

I think that people have choices. If they do not like living in the USA they should feel free to leave and live elsewhere. Many people have done that throughout the years. Their philosophy and political leanings change over the years, and they discover that they no longer feel at home in their home country. Add that to the increasing expense of living in the US, and the attraction of other countries who are more neutral politically, and less expensive in rent, food, entertainment, etc. and countries with a climate that is more desirable, and you may want to live there—for a time or forever. Our country tends to be obsessed with politics and I can see why people want to escape from all of the media hype—many just turn off the TV. Others go further—they move. There are large ex-pat communities in countries like Equador, Costa Rica, and even in Croatia. The cost of living is significantly lower in those countries, and the climate is warmer. Some people go to Arizona or Florida for the winter; others go out of the country, discover that they are comfortable in the new country, and stay.I have even considered it. I’d like to travel and stay for a time in another country—see all of the interesting sites therein and in other countries close by, and if need be, learn a new language by immersing myself in it. I don’t know if I want to renounce my citizenship, but experiencing a new country and a new environment would be a enriching experience.

Why do muslims come to America?

Here in USA we love hot dogs and pork chops.
Our bank system works on loans and yes interest is involved.
We believe in womens rights.
We love Christmas more then any holiday.
Beards are considered gross here and mainly perverted old men wear them.
90% of Americans associate Islam to be responsible for terrorism and the loss of the twin towers.

Ok so you come here for a better life. But why is the life in your home country so bad? Is it because everything from clothing to banking practices is regulated by islamic standards?
I cannot grasp the concept that you come here with this islamic lifestyle and you complain about discrimination... But yet you continue to stay here because obviously money is more important then religion. Anyways all this being said, and having the majority of the population against you and hating your religion, why would you even come here at all?
