Is there a particular reason why you hate black women?
@ᴱჩიჷ- I was more startled than anything else. lol. I didn't realize it was so bad. From what I've gathered....I've often wondered if people believe black women to be this separate entity. This different type of woman. Are people put off from our sometimes standoffish ways? Is that why they rebuke us? Is it merely our differences? So many thoughts in my head. @βεccα ღonsters-I know exactly what you're talking about. I can't understand the logic behind their actions. It makes me think we must be on their minds. The question is: Why are we on these people's minds in the first place? What did we do? lol. Are they merely trying to test our mettle? Are they having fun at inciting black women to anger? I could live if it was just a game to them. I'd even play along.....

No, not really. We may be attracted to traits we find in others that remind us of our parents, but physical resemblance? There are far too many people who date and/or marry people who have little in common with their parents, and appearance seems to be the least prominent characteristic. Demeanor of women from abusive relationships?
Your sis-in-law may be talking to a therapist or has. What you see on tv an movies is pretty much real, unfortunately but there are levels of abuse. Abuse is abuse is far as I'm concerned but, sometimes, some people do get through it better than others. If she's hiding how she feels, that's not good and she should be talking to someone. How long ago was it? If she's just come out of that relationship, how long has she known your 'brother'? It looks like she's moving on and I hope that's what she's doing. Try talking to her about it. You'll get a feel for how she really thinks if you do. I was mentally and physically abused but the latter was minor. I didn't even realize how bad my mental state was until I kicked him out. I lost all my self respect, some of my friends and family. I wish her Good Luck.
