Why do people hate Astrology?
Personally, I find it interesting, agreeable, and useful to put people in a nutshell. But, whenever I mention it, they go on a rampage for why I pointed it out. On my other account, I said I was an Aquarius and my brother was a Scorpio and I asked why he was so mean to me. People were saying "because you singled him down to his star sign". I found those comments extremely rude. Help me understand those people a bit more, please.
Why do some people hate astrology so much?
I grew up always loving astrology and it never ceases to amaze me. I always find it to be very true, but why are others so critical of it? I mean, some people do get carried away with it and start to become obsessed with it when they don't even understand it. But, if you are a true astrology lover who deeply understands it, I find you get called out by people who don't believe in it. So, what is it that some people hate about it so much? haha

i mean my daddy was capercorn and he beat me so now i hate all caprercorns.. my mom was a cancer and she made me too many cookies but didnt let me smoke pot in the house and i hate her for it and all cancers too.. a virgo once picked on me and i hate her and every virog now for that cause theyr all alike once another saggy was my friend but she didnt agre with me about something so now i hate all saggys even myself. the only people i like are leo and libers because they kiss my *** a lot and that makes me hot. and one scorpio girl but she doesnt like me anymore either so im thinking about hating her if she ever comes back on here. so does asstrologhy just make people hate
Why do a majority of people hate astrology?
I completely understand where you're coming from! I'm personally a great believer in astrology. A lot of small pieces of my personality that I didn't understand before now make complete sense to me. I honestly didn't even know that I had rapid and frequent mood swings, but after reading into my sun sign, I have learned that this is quite normal dor someone with my sign. Astrology has helped me better understand myself. It doesn't bother me when people don't believe in astrology, because that's their own personal belief, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. What bothers me is when people try and insult my beliefs and what I believe in. They don't have the right to try and lessen my opinions on something, and vice versa. If no one wants your help with astrology, let them be. There's no point stressing yourself out and putting up with insults simply because you were trying to be a nice person. Let them be, and maybe turn elsewhere, where your views are accepted. :)
Why do people take astrology seriously?
Personally I have always have a bit of a double felling about astrology. On one side, I never thought much of it, especially when after I learned how Barnum statements worked the prediction value of them went down the drain for me. On the other hand I have always wondered if something would really be crap, how could it be, people still putting faith in it. Other things that are based on air come and go, reappear in new forms, but astrology has been here to stay for a long long time, like religions. In fact, it is used in the oldest religion known to mankind as a very important part.And this is exactly where my latest amazing fact came from. My wife and I recently have decided to part. To much issues, no future. Private stuff, not for here. However, she being Hindu, she did her part to save our relation and some Pandits (Hindu priests) were involved in the process over the years. The latest of them had asked her for my birth data, including exact time, location and what day it was. I asked her why, it was for my horoscope. Now, that horoscope what not quite the one you read in the Monday newspaper to get you through the rest of the weak. That priest came up with a story that described my life pretty well, in rough lines, and a description of my character, not far off. And not just mine, also hers and our sons. And the man never met any one of us.Now I know how to read a text and search for common language that could be for anybody. But this was just too fitting for me, for her, and for our little man. So I am still not convinced it's all just junk. I am convinced there is a lot of crap and rubbish. But occasionally it seems that there is someone who really knows how to read the stars.

I agree. The prejudice toward certain signs in this section is getting really bad and stupid. Personally, I don't buy astrology anymore at all and rely more on the Myers Briggs personality test which is way more accurate for me at least.
Why do so many people hate Gemini?
The knee jerk reaction stereotype has them 'two-faced'. Which means they lie and are not to be trusted. If Gems are offended by this, they should question the validity of astrology. Then speak out against it.
