Who was Prophet Muhammad?
Who Is the Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) RasulullahMuhammad (P.B.U.H) was born in Makkah in the year 570. Since his father died before his birth and his mother died shortly thereafter, he was raised by his uncle who was from the respected tribe of Quraysh. He was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained so till his death. His people, before his mission as a prophet, were ignorant of science and most of them were illiterate. As he grew up, he became known to be truthful, honest, trustworthy, generous, and sincere. He was so trustworthy that they called him the Trustworthy.1 Muhammad was very religious, and he had long detested the decadence and idolatry of his society. At the age of forty, Muhammad (P.B.U.H) received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. The revelations continued for twenty-three years, and they are collectively known as the Quran. As soon as he began to recite the Quran and to preach the truth which God had revealed to him, he and his small group of followers suffered persecution from unbelievers. The persecution grew so fierce that in the year 622 God gave them the command to emigrate. This emigration from Makkah to the city of Madinah, some 260 miles to the north, marks the beginning of the Muslim calendar. After several years, Muhammad (P.B.U.H) and his followers were able to return to Makkah, where they forgave their enemies. Before Muhammad died, at the age of sixty-three, the greater part of the Arabian Peninsula had become Muslim, and within a century of his death, Islam had spread to Spain in the West and as far East as China. Among the reasons for the rapid and peaceful spread of Islam was the truth and clarity of its doctrine. Islam calls for faith in only one God, Who is the only one worthy of worship. The Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was a perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful, and brave human being. Though he was a man, he was far removed from all evil characteristics and strove solely for the sake of God and His reward in the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of God.Source : sunnahrasullah
How do we understand the decision by a branch of the UK Labour Party not to condemn the Pittsburgh synagogue massacre? Is there any explanation other than they are comfortable with an anti-Semitic mass murder?
Those on the far Left, in which group I include Jeremy Corbyn, are inclined to conflate the over-reactions of the Israeli military with the Israeli people as a whole, and by extension all Jewish people. On its own it’s a profoundly lazy piece of thinking, but it goes even deeper. The international socialist movement has always identified with the Palestinian cause because in the days of Yasser Arafat the PLO was a secular organisation aligned with pan-Arab socialism. The global alliance of Marxist revolutionaries also included Libya’s “Colonel” Gaddafi, the IRA, and Germany’s Red Army Faction; all of whom have enjoyed a certain amount of unwarranted sympathy from well-meaning leftists.Even though the Palestinian movement is now dominated by Islamists like Hamas and openly rejects secular socialism, they still enjoy the support of far-Left campaigners in cosseted European countries like Britain. For them, the Palestinians can do no wrong and the Israelis are, ironically, the new Nazis. The reality is rather more complex. Many Israelis disagree with the actions of their government; they reject government-sponsored settlements inside Palestinian areas and they find no comfort in disproportionate military responses to Hamas rocket attacks or suicide bombings. But as you see after any Islamist terror attack in the West, public opinion is easily inflamed and it is not difficult for right-wingers to harness Islamophobia to their own ends. In an environment where terrible deeds are committed on both sides, it’s easy for hardliners to keep their grip on power. If you blame all Israelis for the actions of their government then you must also blame all Palestinians for the actions of Hamas, who they also elected. The Left have picked a side in that conflict, and everyone on the other side is therefore wrong. For some, that means Jewish people in a synagogue in Pennsylvania are not worthy of sympathy.
Why does the far-right blame everything they don't like on George Soros?
It’s not just the far right that dislike Soros. Most right wingers have disdain for the man. I’m a centrist, independent, and Jewish and Soros annoys me very much. Of course, most his critics across the political spectrum recognize that Soros is merely a symbol of a greater phenomenon. I have issue with the hypocrisy. Soros is not alone in being an incredibly hypocritical “progressive”. But he’s become the symbol of lefty arrogance and hypocrisy. This is a man who on the one hand lobbies world governments to crack down on tax havens. “Close the Bermuda loophole,” he says. Without a tint of irony or self consciousness, the man puts many millions of dollars away in tax havens in Bermuda and other places. He talks about this openly. When asked, how come you preach a wealth tax, closing the Bermuda loopholes, and income equality while at the same time putting millions in tax havens in Bermuda?? “Silly question… I don’t want to pay taxes on my wealth!”He’s clearly not the only person doing that. Warden Buffet and others are very similar. Multinational corporations preach equality, inclusivity and other feel-good BS to get people of their back and to justify outsourcing to $2 an hour IT workers in India and China. But Soros decided to put himself out there, and there are anti Semitic people out there who would use that to justify their own racism. As a Jew, though, I find it ironic that Soros became a target for Neo Nazis in his native Hungary. He survived the Holocaust by hiding his Jewish identity and working for the Nazis collecting the property of Jewish deportees to Auschwitz. He may not have had a choice, sure. But when journalists ask him if he feels bad about it or guilty, he uses the same logic he uses to justify his tax evasion. “If I wouldn’t have done it, someone else surely would’ve.”
How can I learn to be a manipulative person? How do manipulative people think? Can it be learned? Can it be perfected through exercise? What are the hallmarks of manipulative thinking? What characterizes a manipulator extraordinaire?
Research Machiavelli and Machiavellian personalities. Once you have this background knowledge, take the MACH-IV and find out how you fair. See, I am a High Mach, I scored 99 the end of sophomore year of high school after I spent the entire school year learning about power and manipulation. I find the rest of the answers here funny because they only preach to learn how to manipulate to protect yourself. But the goal and fundamental purpose of manipulation is self serving. Only manipulate when you desperately want something, and get rid of your petty emotions as well. Read the Prince and the 48 Laws of Power. They'll teach you to gather the skill set you seek. But be aware, once you start down the path of learning to be a manipulator it's hard to stop. I should know, I've been Student Body President for three years straight.______________________________________________________________________________________Edit as of 9/26/2018This is one of my most popular messages to my loyal followers, and for this, I must change certain aspects of this post.I’ll keep this simple.Power is self serving- to those who do not understand how to use it positively.Power is extremely attractive and alluring- to those who do not understand true leadership.Manipulating will get you very far in life- but you will be greeted with empty hallways of power with little to show for all your conniving. You will be old, alone, and freezing on top of Olympus.Let Power be your guide to transform your environments into the highest reflections of you- and all the values/morals that guide you.Experience has given me these keys of wisdom.
