Questions from the Koran if anyone can help me with any of them. Im not religious so I had a very hard time?

Why does the American Legal system contradict itself?
Why is it that our American legal system contadicts itself in many areas, but so many people believe the "system" works? Examples: 1) It is illegal to commit murder, but states can justify sending someone to death row. 2) We are protected against "cruel and unusual" punishment, but a convicted felon will ALWAYS be turned away for jobs, Apartments, etc. even after they have paid their dues to society. 3) In divorce and child custody proceedings, the courts claim to seek what is in the best interest of the child. 95% of all child custody cases are in favor of the mothers. How can this system be balanced when the odds are so heavily out of balance? 4) In criminal cases...a ***** is 85% more likely to be put in prison than any other race, yet the goverment has strict laws against discrimination. 5) In American law...it is illegal to extort money from people. Why then can one lawyer charge 2500.00 for a case, but a lawyer across the street can charge 25,000.00 for the same case?
Prisons and Prison Life: Why do inmates especially hate child sex offenders?
I don't know where these people did time that Child Molesters are walking around a GENERAL POPULATION prison yard without a care in the world. But where I did my 4 years … NOBODY was having it. I remember 1 story that REALLY sticks out.I was in orientation, (when you first get processed going into Arizona State Corrections). There's the state hospital guys in all blue, tied together in a Line of 10… all numbed and drooling. And EVERYONE else … REGARDLESS of the crime are all processed together.The cells housed 12-20 men, with a toilet in the middle of the room and bunks all around the walls. I was in a cell like that on my first night.This. Really. Happened.I had a Spanish guy say to me “Jesus forgave me, so I'm ok”, “eh?” I asked. A larger Spanish guy came up to me and said “take a walk”. I puffed my chest up like he was trying to BOSS me . I had an older black guy grab me by the belt and pulled me to the other side of the cell and said , “now watch, youngster “ …Then, like it was choreographed - we watched 8 grown men take turns first hitting, then, KICKIng and eventually STOMPING this guy while he hid under a bunk. Even after they were done. That guy just laid under a bunk. It took one of those guys telling a cop MAN DOWN and MADE 1 time TAKE HIM OUT THE CELL . NO co’s came to that guys aid. Nobody protected him. Even when they took him out , those co’s acted totally in different.He raped his 12 yr old niece or something along those lines.Child molesters do not get a free pass.Another time - a friend of mine had a cellie in a 2 man 24 hour lock down cell. A Co put his cellie’s paper work in the door . Rape of a child … my friend took his TV and literally smashed it over the guys head. I read the Write up. No assault charge .. just a write up for fighting …If you're a child molester and you're looking for comfort … trust me .. You won't find it in prison. PRISON staff use other prisoners all the time and set them up all the time. Even when they pc up… seems like someone “forgets” and eventually they always get a stint in GP.
How is to kill a mockingbird anti- racist?
if you read the trial scene, you will see that everyone knows that Tom Robinson is not guilty...but they convict him any way the point is that Atticus knows that most people there are racist and he, a white man, decides to defend Tom anyway because it is the right thing to do... to have this make sense, you have to understand the times...Atticus could very easily have been killed for what he did...he risked his life and the lives of his family in order to go up against the racist attitudes of the towns people and do what he knew was right... the same logic applies to the scene at the jail when the mob comes to hang Tom...again Atticus risks his life to defend a black man in a town full of racism...to do the right thing no matter what Tom's color is...and at the time, it could have cost him his life so...in the end, the book shows it is anti-racist because a white man, in that time period, was willing to risk his life for a black man, both at the jail and in the trial, because it was the right thing to do...and racism was the wrong way to be... hope this helps...good luck
Whats a good manga I should read?
-Nothing girly or Shoujo - that stuff is way too sweet and lovey-dovey for me. -Yaoi is great! In fact, I'd prefer some yaoi answers ;) -I like mangas with some kickass characters, not wussies -Mature mangas are good too, but nothing explicit (like drawn out sex scenes)
Should child molesters get the death penalty?
I heard about this case where a man in LA is on death row for molesting a 7 year old. I can see why we should, but I want to hear other opinions. Please explain under what circumstances we should or should not.
