Why Do Women Obnoxiously Burp Whenever They Feel Like

Why do some women burp in public?

i don't know if it's to try to be "one of the guys," but it is a major turn off for me. i suppose i am one of those old school guys who thinks and believes a woman shouldn't burp in public; but i return the favor-i would never do such a thing in front of a woman (you know; not "exert" it out, but keep it "silent"). i think it's gross, unclassy, and a turn off for me.

So why do some women burp in public?

Burping, farting, etc Are all men like this??? Am i too serious?

Every morning my boyfriend hocks up the contents of the back of his throat, burps, scratches his bits & farts. Is it too much to ask for a bit of manners when I’m around. He doesn’t care that I find it repulsive, and doesn’t even try and tame it down, he just laughs, and tells me I’m too serious which aggravates me even more. It’s not too much different when were in company – I find it embarrassing.
Am I too serious?

We all fart. But why don't I see women fart publicly as much as men do?

Women are socialized differently. Women are heavily judged for “uncivilized,” “rude,” “unladylike,” “disgusting” or (insert your negative adjective here) behavior. If a guy does it, either it’s hilarious or it just elicits an eyeroll, depending on the group of people around. The worst that could be said is that he’s a slob, but even that’s unlikely if he’s well dressed. However, if a women does the same, she is going to be disgusting and a slob and lazy and don’t you know she doesn’t have any self control? This starts as young children. When boys fart publicly, they get a laugh from the boys, annoy the girls (and let’s face it, little boys like annoying little girls, so this is a reward) and instructions to “say excuse me” from adults. Girls get teased by the boys, scorned by the girls, and not only instructions to “say excuse me,” but also comments about how unladylike she is and told that her doing this is rude and/or disrespectful. As a direct result of this, women tend to learn that they have control over their bodily function and exercise this more frequently than men. Many of us agonize over the idea of farting in public. In the case that we simply cannot hold it and cannot get away, we often work on trying to keep it as quiet as possible. Yes, we’re all aware that we all fart and this is normal and healthy. However, we are also aware that the social repercussions are neither normal nor healthy, so we do what we can to be alone when we do it.Some guys do this too, and we appreciate those guys. Because as much as farting may be normal and healthy, no one wants to smell that.

Why don’t women laugh at farts?

Oh don’t let them fool you. Women are no different to men some women don’t find them funny but I have also seen a lot of women that find farts hilarious. One example was the time I farted and this group of women and the most attractive one was the one that laughed the hardest and found it the most funny thing ever. She laughed so hard she was laughing out of control for probably a minute and so hard she nearly peed her pants.Life is too short to take things too seriously and I just wanted to ask her out on a date then and there. I imagine that story when people asked how we met.Like I was saying I have seen a lot of women that find farting hilarious, it is not just a man thing but a type of person thing.

Why is breast feeding so hard when it's supposed to be a natural and instinctive thing to do?

Because we've lost touch with normal breast feeding. We have a sort of default understanding that babies feed every three hours and if they want to feed more often than that then something is wrong. In reality, new born babies feed at least 12 times every day, and want to be held all the time. If you know this is normal, you can adjust but if you think feeds are only every three hours, you're going to have problems. We have a lack of accessible knowledge about breastfeeding problems. Most medical professionals don't recognize tongue tie, never mind know how to treat it. Once, every midwife looked for it and snipped it at birth. But why is it important when you can give a bottle if breastfeeding is difficult?Even if there are no problems, breastfeeding has a steep learning curve. The first couple of weeks are tough. But then it gets easier and easier, but it really helps if you know that.

I burp so loud and so strong all the time and idk if i should go to the docter or what but i am scared?

How old are you? Burping is normal,it's the result of swallowing air when you eat and drink. The odor is the result of foods that cause "gas" in the stomach, like vegetables, spicy foods, and fiber etc. There are lots of OTC tablets available, like "Rolaids" and "bean no" that are just for "gas" and work well.If your problem continues see your MD,there's nothing to be scared of. Try to avoid carbonated drinks,a major cause of distress. Take care. SW RNP

If a man only sits in recliner farting and burping, does that mean he's broken?

The Sith's on strike again, huh?
See what happens when you overly abuse persons of low character?
