Why do people stare at me and give me dirty looks?
Okay so here's a little about myself, I'm 18, I have blonde hair, I'm about 110 and I'm about 5"3 and as far as my personality, I'm a tad bit shy but im very nice. But the thing is, I think people either don't like me OR they think I'm weird. I have yet to figure out what it is. And out public people stare at me, like I get dirty looks from other girls and young women and I'm starting to think "is there something wrong with me that I don't know about"? Even my sister notices it. Has anyone else every dealt with this?

Oh yes! Cats are very expressive with their eyes and some even more with total facial expressions. We recently had to put to sleep Misha, our Himalayan, and she would glare, snort at us, and mrrrrrrr at us if she didn't like something or was mad. Our Persian, Earl Grey, glares if he thinks we are laughing at him or if we accidentally see him cleaning himself or using the litter box. We also had a calico, Prissy, for many years that could give looks of disdain far better than any other animal or human I've ever known. Too bad she couldn't have given acting lessons! The expressive nature of animals is part of what makes them such a joy to have around.
Why do people give me dirty looks?
You are not going to get a 100 percent accurate answer for this question, the only way to find out why they are giving you "dirty" looks is to ask them. I say this because when it comes to communication, specifically nonverbal communication such as face expressions and body language, it is all subjective. So in short, the face they make could mean anything, but unless you ask them, you can only rely on how you interpret their face expression and that could be way off. They could not even know that their face is giving off the message of being 'dirty',, but thats how you interpreted them. .
Why do people in Italy give Americans dirty looks?
Well, as a Latin guy who has lived in the United States, my impression is that Americans don't value certain things all Latin cultures do (Italians are Latins, just in case you don't know). For example, from our perspective, Americans are seen as rude, violent, intolerant, impatient, disrespectful, anti-social and we also perceive them as having no sense of humor. I'm not saying that Americans are all these things, I'm just saying that from our perspective, Americans don't value certain things that are very important in our cultures. From our perspective, Americans seem to put too much value on money and very little on life. For example, many Americans favor war because it brings them prosperity and they don't really care about all the people that are dying. We Latins are horrified at this way of thinking. Another example is racism. Americans usually marry with a partner of their own race and have friends of their own race. They even live in neighborhoods where most people are of the same race. Most Americans hate immigrants, etc. These just doesn't happen in most Latin countries where racism is considered something very primitve and wrong and where most immigrants are welcome with open arms. I could go on and on but it all boils down to this, Americans are perceived as primitive, dangerous, and hard to interact with by most people in the world. Of course, at school (I went to school in the US for some years) they will brainwash you and tell you that the US is advanced politically and socially but it's actually only advanced economically and the reason behind it is the exploitation of resources done to other countries by Americans. I really have no idea why the French didn't treat you as they treat most Americans. French are known for their anti-american sentiment.
Why do some girls/women give dirty looks for no reason?
I not often ever observe one way or the different what a guy occurs to be wearing. that is no longer some thing I anticipate so i'm no longer taken aback to work out particular outfits or something. If some thing is "outrageous" for what's occurring in the region or placing then yeah, ought to observe. Do you stare into space when you are thinking?I used know a guy who spent a lot of time lost in thought. He would stare in the general direction of people, but he was not seeing them, his mind was elsewhere.But the truth is that we are all animals, and an animal that stares at us feels like a predator. Sometimes women would scowl at him, thinking he was checking him out. And a guy threatened to punch him once, thinking he was staring at the guy as a challenge.So, basically, I’m wondering if you are doing something unconsciously that is triggering hostility.
I am annoyed at my cat for giving me dirty looks?
Cats don't have the facial muscles to actually smile like humans can, except for the Abyssinian cat - I've been adopted by several of them, and I can attest to their ability to grin, frown, wink, and yes, smile. In all other breeds, the edges of the mouth can turn up slightly, but that's about it. Unless your cat (and the other poor darlings you're misinterpreting) puts its ears back, you've nothing to worry about.
Why do cops give me a dirty look every time i walk into the bank?
First of all it doesn't matter what anyone thinks of you. The way you dress does effect the way people see you whether you like it or not. If you saw a man dressed in rags you would probably think he was homeless or poor. If you saw a woman with way too much make up on wearing a very short skirt and a tight low cut shirt with her cleavage hanging out and net stockings on you would probably think she was a prostitute. Police deal with criminals on a daily basis they are trained to look for certain things. Like I said earlier you would automatically make an assumption that because someone was dressed in rags that they were homeless, much like you yourself said you dress similar to a gangster, think about that. You dress like a gangster and they look at you funny, why? Because you look like a gangster!
