Why Do You Think Some Athletes Cry After They

Why do you think that athletes commit crime when they are so gifted with athletic ability and fame?

Competition among professional athletes is incomprehensibly high. For people with little character, pressure is great to retain their high-earning status.

And in answer to the ridiculous racial slur below:
Character flaws exist across the racial board. MOST transgressing athletes, in fact, do not belong to the group associated with baggy pants and rap. Who are the athletes who even started and thought up all the ways to the cheat? Were Pete Rose, Mark McGuire, Andre Agassi, and Roger Clemens black?

Why do you think some pro athletes become broadcasters when they have $200 million dollars?

Because they love the sport, and some have a difficult time giving the sport up entirely after retiring. I'd rather listen to someone talk about the sport and judge other players who have playing experience.... A person who has never played the sport has zero right to judge players on their performances... and can never speak on what you go through as a players...etc

Why does everyone say that people who do crimes do it just because they think they're better than everyone else?

Ask someone why they do criminal acts what we will all say is
THEY ARE FUN
that's all there is too it.
go steal, break in and steal something even though it's worthless.

Especially doing it all day and night for months, it just gives a good feeling because you havn't been caught, you've outsmarted everyone else, the rush of someone chasing after you, the feeling of knowing you risk your entire life on something and it's either get away with it or you're lifes gone, it's a big risk.
The bigger the crime, the bigger the risk, the bigger the rush.

Do you think pro athletes and some movie stars, like Tom Cruise, and singers like Beyonce deserves to?

Yes sweetheart...things have gone way out of control in this area and things like sports salaries, and I believe another area that needs to be addressed is, well, Have you had to pay for medication lately? Or pay a copay? Things have grown way out of sinc with our pay these days and until people finally realize that singers, and actors and the medical field and athletes and the Politicians and the like, wouldn't be making the outrageous salaries and income they do if we would unite and simply say, ENOUGH is ENOUGH; stand our ground..
Ask yourself this, why has Pres. Obama finally given in to the public and announced that he will begin using U.S. Reserves to lesson the blow of gas as the pumps? Why, hasn't he acknowledged the opening of Oil drilling in the Gulf on Rigs that have been inspected and released? Why are we still supplying goods and trade with our enemies? These topics need to be addressed NOW>

Do you think retired athletes miss the attention they used to get?

What I mean by this is when good athletes are playing, of course the good ones get all sorts of attention. Once they retire, that attention on them is gone. Do you think this why some of them retire/unretire back and forth, because they miss the attention they're used to getting for so many years?

I mean, how many times is FavreSPN going to mention their top story about Favre doing this or that. Next time I put on FSPN, I wouldn't be suprised if there top story was him getting gas in his vehicle. I mean, come on. Look at Roger Clemens, he doesn't even show up for spring training, waits a few months to see what team is in 1st place, and then starts negotiating with that team to pitch for.

Whatcha all think, do they miss the attention? This is my opinion. But sound off

Why do some men seem upset that female Olympic athletes look strong?

First, only jerks say that. While I'm sure lots of guys would be intimidated by a girl that can put them in a headlock (man, some of those chicks have killer guns) only the most sexist, saddest guys will harp on it.

Super muscled chicks aren't standard beauty ideals, and their lack of body fat means they're missing the boobs that so many of us love to ogle. But my boyfriend, who is a sports nerd, soccer player, and general fan of female athletes does spend a suspicious amount of time watching the women's events. I get it, it's cool, he's turned on by athletic girls, like lots of guys.

As a bisexual woman, I can't really blame my boyfriend. Boobless or not, those chicks are fit! I'd be ok if some guy mentioned he's not into athletic with cut arms and small boobs in passing, but if he keeps complaining about it, I'd get pissed. I might start screaming about how their bodies don't exist to please him, and how would he like a large boobed, nonathletic woman to punch his face? It's one thing to talk about our own personal standards of beauty, it's another to verbally tear down someone because they don't fit your ideal gender role.

So no matter what your daughter grows up to be, athletic or lazy or nerdy or wild or snobbish, there will be men that are genuinely interested in that type of woman. And men who will objectify her, they will belittle her talent or ability in some way, because they're threatened. Again, it's only the jerks that voice this. Hopefully your daughter, who I hope turns out smart and strong and beautiful in all ways, will only spend time with the guys that aren't insecure and appreciate her for who she is.
