Why Does Everyone In College Think That Making $8 000 In 2 Months Is Very Impressive

Does taking 8 classes seems like too much?

I go to a community college and for next semester I'm planning on taking 8 classes well, actually 9.
But, I'm saying 8 because one class doesn't have any credits towards them.
So, far my schedule for the spring semester looks like this:
Music Appreciation 3, Art Appreciation 3, Psychology 3, Drawing I (3) - don't know if I'm a take it yet, Intro to sociology 3, Health and wellness 3, Intro to theater 3, Biology 3, and biology lab 0.
As of right now, I have 14 credits. I would need to take about 5 classes for the summer semester if I can figure out a way to pay for it. I feel like I have too much free time on my hands now even though I'm taking 6 classes.
But, I don't want to overwhelm myself and I also, don't wan to be anymore further behind in leaving community college than I already am. (Long story).
I do put my school work first since, I live in the country and there's not much to do. I think, I can manage it. I do get financial aid.
I just wanted some opinions on my schedule? Because I don't want to stay here for another year or so. I can do another semester but not another year.

Here's the thing - modern discourse on education would have us believe that its sole purpose is to provide us with skills and credentials that allow us to get jobs and make money. If that were truly the case then I'd say you have a decent argument for leaving school. The truth is, education is what gives you the tools to understand the universe and your place in it, and allows you to ask and answer the truly important questions in life. Honestly, if I were to win the lottery tomorrow I wouldn't move to a beach and drink cocktails all day, I'd go back to school and get another degree, despite already having two masters degrees and a doctorate. Because learning is amazing and exhilarating, and I can imagine no better way to experience life. That being said, high school usually sucks. There's no getting around it, it's tedious, often poorly taught, and you spend your days surrounded by people who probably don't appreciate the real value of an education. But... It's a necessary prerequisite to get to the good stuff. College is a whole different world, with larger and far more interesting possibilities for learning. Beyond that, graduate school is even better, there's nothing quite lot being in an environment where you're surrounded by people who openly love their work and the intellectual exploration it involves. There's no amount of money that can replicate that experience. Before losing the opportunity to experience all this, ask yourself what you would do - really do, once the fleeting novelty of fast cars, expensive vacations, and fancy restaurants wore off - if you had all the money you ever needed. It's a safe bet that doing that activity would require some (maybe even a lot of) education.

Does vitamin D Make Your Boobs Bigger? Pleasee Hellppppp!!!?

I've never heard of vitamin D enlarging boobs, but there are other natural ways to make your boobs grow. There are many breast enhancing supplements and creams that actually do work. Breast Actives and Breast Success are both very successful brands. Also, when a supplement and cream are used together you will usually see better results. The thing about breast enhancing supplements are that they are all quite expensive. If you're looking for a cheaper alternative that works just the same, if not better, try pueraria mirifica and fenugreek. You can buy both of these supplements at stores like Walgreen's or Wal-Mart in the vitamin section. If you take both of these supplements at the same time you should see good results. These ingredients are almost always used in breast enhancing supplements, and are usually recommended to women that want to increase the size of their boobs. Most of the time, it takes a couple of months to see visible results from any breast enhancing supplement and you usually have to take them at least 6-9 months to maintain permanent results.

Which of the following statements pertaining to global warming to you agree with and why?

I'm trying to get an understanding as to what reasons people are 'skeptical' of anthropogenic global warming. Which of the following statements to you agree with and why?

1) We don't have sufficiently good data to even know if the planet is warming to begin with.

2) Global temperature changes are mainly caused by natural cycles which we don't understand, including over the past 50 years.

3) Global temperature changes are mainly caused by changes in solar activity, including over the past 50 years.

4) Global warming has stopped, therefore it's nothing to be concerned about.

5) Warming of several more degrees would be beneficial to humans.

6) The climate isn't very sensitive to changes in atmospheric CO2, so even though humans are the primary cause of the current global warming, it's nothing to worry about because the planet won't warm very much in the future.

7) Climate scientists as a whole are so dishonest that I just don't know what to believe.

8) I'm going to die before global warming is a major problem anyway, so I don't really care.

If you feel that none of the above statements are true, or want to provide another explanation please do so.

Is 10,000 lines a lot of code for a programmer’s first project? My friend has been learning to code for the past 8 months, over the past 2 months has designed/built an iPhone/Android app, including the back-end/DB all by himself. Is this impressive?

Maybe?Does it work?Does it do what is expected?Does it have few bugs, and no app-crashing bugs during typical use?Is it mostly intuitive?Does it look half-way decent? If all of these are even half-way positive, then sure, be impressed. Even if frameworks were used, that's not a reason not to be.I could bang out a Pong or Snake clone in no time; maybe take a couple of hours to do it in a modern game architecture style, and give it stereo sound, without any libraries other than native APIs.But if I was going to call it an app, and release it to the world, I would probably spend another month to clean it and tweak it, and smooth it out.Something a little more complex, like a Roguelike might be months of work.A commercial website could be anywhere from an afternoon to two fiscal quarters, depending on what the needs are, and how much has to be learned (about the tech, about legal regulations, about the vertical, about the countries the site launches in, and about the customers). Does it look like a person’s headshot and contact info, or does it look like Uber? And this is from someone who can do all of that stuff from scratch, or write my own versions of common libraries, as practice. So learning the whole ecosystem, learning to program, learning to design an app, and then actually doing it, in that span of time is pretty great.I’m assuming that they still have a lot of learning to do, but I’ve been learning for over a decade, and they haven't stopped coming up with things to learn…
